I finally found it. These tacos are the real deal. Authentic, packed with flavor, and made fresh right in front of you. No shortcuts. No watered-down Midwest version. Just straight up legit. I had the pastor and carne asada tacos, and I'm not exaggerating when I say it gave me a little taste of home. The pastor was perfectly seasoned with that classic flavor you only get when it's done right. The carne asada was tender, juicy, and loaded with flavor. Simple ingredients, executed perfectly. Springfield honestly lacks a lot of truly great food spots, but this place is a hidden gem. If you're craving authentic street tacos and not some Tex-Mex imitation, this is it. I'll definitely be back.

They are a food truck with an enclosed eating area, which is much appreciated. The atmosphere helps you relax for a bit knowing that you're protected from the elements. I do tell my friends about them all the time. I'm always looking forward to my next visit.

There weren't a lot of options either. You had to ask what everything was because nothing had labels. It was pretty awful. They do ask you if you want flour or corn tortillas with your food so we were able to choose those. The tortillas were good. The guy who greeted us and seated us was very nice. Overall, I can pretty confidently say that we will not be back. They would need to completely overhaul what they're doing for that to even be a possibility.

But both are great! I got the teriyaki chicken hibachi and it was GAS. So good. It comes with ginger and yum yum sauce which I poured on top of everything as you can see in the picture. It comes with so much food, so I had plenty to eat leftover for a late night post-wedding meal. The food truck workers were awesome and great to work with! 10/10 experience.

Standing room only and expect bar seating if you don't have a reservation. The top shelf margarita was exceptional. The staff is also exceptional and very friendly and very concerned about food items being brought out in a timely manner I got lengua tacos and they were brought out at an optimal temperature and loaded bigger than anybody else does in town. Definitely the best tacos I've had in a while. The restaurant does get busy and quite noisy so if you're sensitive to loud noises, I would bring earplugs to enhance your dining experience.
