I had to update. In my last review I said, I don't give five stars. I changed my mind. This place gets 5. NOTE: if you are looking for atmosphere, this is not your place. The energy is very good there and the place is always crowded but ambiance? Not so much. The staff is excellent especially considering how busy they can be and the food has never disappointed. I'm officially addicted, I'm there at least 2x a month - for a minute it was every week (ok it might still be every week) The food is excellent, the staff is excellent, the pricing is excellent and my 5 stars is based on those things. This restaurant grew out of a previous food truck establishment. Focus is on delivering a tasty meal efficiently and at good cost. They hit the mark. I go here a couple times per month. Might do better to turn the tv to tells novellas without sound once in awhile or just off. The soccer gets tiresome. read more

We love this place, we come here all the time! My husband and I love the chips and salsa as their home made, also the enchiladas are really good their sauce is also homemade. My favorite thing to get is the Bisteck ranchero but with bell pepper instead of jalapeños! Their margaritas are good too! It's all so good, we're never disappointed here. What a joke. This place. Ordered food through door dash. Food showed up like it had set out for hours. Asked for extra salsa since we had 2 orders of tacos and they didn't even read the instructions or couldn't for that matter. One small salsa for 8 tacos, no limes, what an embarrassment for the owners. Doubt they care or give a sh*t. No chips and salsa, doesn't that come with the meal? The steak tacos, what did you boil the meat in spit? Tastes like something out of nursing home, no flavors, no seasoning, and looked like something a small dog would defecate out. Why didn't you wrap the tortillas in foil or put something down in the box so they're not so soggy. Wtf, did you out water in the box. From the outside, it looks like a hole in the wall kinda place, but I decided to try it out after seeing some of the positive reviews and pictures of the food. And it did not disappoint! I tried the birria tacos, the shrimp tacos, and the fish tacos, and they were all great! Will definitely come back again. One of the only places open during the snowstorm, so we came. I got the 3 Sopas plate. No sides came with it, but there was plenty of food. They were a little on the pricey side. The only thing that really stood out was their salsa's. The green was an avocado base, and the red a habanero. Both were extremely flavorful!! The food was okay, not great but not terrible. I'll give them 4 stars for their salsa, and customer service. Bathroom was a bit lacking, no soap and a flat iron and brush laying on the toilet. read more

HOWEVER, don't take the last little bit of your salsa home or they will charge you $3 extra... to take home the salsa scraps... they wouldn't have charged you before... if you just left it on the table. Located in an unassuming strip mall where another competing Mexican food restaurant is (truthfully have never tried the other one but I have tried El Champu's food truck along with a few others in town and this place blows them out of the water so no need to try anyone else). The delicious house salsa is just right to carry you over while deciding what you want to eat. The Birria tacos are definitely the most popular item on the menu, but you can't go wrong with the street tacos or tortas. The service was stellar and food came out hot and fast. I have eaten here three or four times now. I will not be back. Most recently, I ordered a veggie burrito which the menu stated had black beans, rice, cheese, onions, and green peppers. What I was served had lots of onions, some green peppers, maybe some zucchini, but had no beans, no rice, and no cheese. When I asked the waiter about it, he said they do not have any black beans, nor do they ever have any black beans. What I was served was covered in a red sauce that a bitter flavor to it. The chips are very thick and the salsa is mediocre. When I complained about the incorrect description in the menu, the waiter did take the charge for the burrito off my bill. I ordered a Dos Equis, which, in my experience, has always been served with a slice of lime. There was no lime, so I asked for some lime. I was given 3 slices of lime and was charged $1.00 for "extra lime." I was only trying to get the lime that should have come with my beer. Additionally, the health department inspections are usually of some concern with several priority violations. Another reason, I will not be back. read more
