Absolutely loved this boutique! We were on a sixteenth birthday weekend in Nashville for my stepdaughter and wanted to end the trip with her getting one of her favorite things-a Jellycat. After calling different shops in the area ahead of time, I found Abednego had the best selection, and store manager Laura was amazingly kind and accommodating! When we arrived at the store, she had gift-wrapped the Jellycats for my daughter and her friend, and even added a cute pink helium balloon to make it extra fun. She had asked me her fav color the day before we arrived- talk about going above and beyond to help us with the surprise! Such a thoughtful touch and a really beautiful shop. Mackenzie was working the day we came in, and she was just the sweetest! I highly recommend supporting this small business and we will certainly be back next time we're in town. read more

I stopped in Abednego with a friend last weekend when we were doing some shopping after brunch. It's a small boutique shop with some beautiful women's clothes, jewelry, and accessories. I was hoping to find a cute clutch (I forgot a bag I could carry for a wedding I was in town for), but I ended up finding a fun ring instead of a bag. Cute store in Germantown! They have a small selection of accessories and bath products that I happily browsed. Like your average boutique, I didn't see many plus size clothes. Docking a point for the fact that the jewelry and purse selection wasn't bigger to make up for it. But the employee (owner?) was super nice and I did buy a nice-smelling bar of soap. I have lived down the street from this sweet boutique for years and have looked in the windows but never gone in. I'm a customer for life now, as I rushed in 10 min before their closing time with a cranky baby searching for the perfect outfit for an event I had the next day. Not only did she bring me the cutest outfits that perfectly fit the event I described but also helped accessorize it (and made my baby smile). This is the only place I shop now. I don't buy much clothes anymore but when I do it's at Abednego. All the clothes are unique, original, and very on trend. Meredith is always so nice when I come in to try on new stuff. I've bought everything from dresses to t-shirts to jeans to scarves to shoes. They have a great selection of accessories and home items too. All my rings and necklaces are from there now. The home items include door mats, dog bowls, glasses, cutting boards. Any time I need a present for a friend I can find something cute here. When I have family in town I take them here to get a feel of what cute boutiques are like in Nashville. During a casual stroll through Germantown I came across Abednego. At first glance, it looked like a shop that might be a bit too po$h for me. But then I saw a pair of stunning earrings on display & peered in to see that the price was actually quite fair, so in I go. I was chatted up by the super friendly shop owner. She was so warm & funny without being pushy or sales-y. I decided to take a look beyond the jewelry and found that the clothes was so great and also fairly priced for the look and quality. There were some baby items and men's clothing as well, but I stayed up at the front of the store. I walked out with a bomb bomber and some fab statement earrings. If I had not been traveling with only a carry-on, I would have taken home another jumper and cardigan. Thoughtfully curated fashion and accessories in several price ranges and a fabulous shop owner means I'm definitely coming back! read more

This shop is adorable! Went in for the first time ever in March and found some bargains from last season (hello loungewear romper) on sale, as well as the most comfortable black denim overalls to wear with a t-shirt this spring and summer. Abednego manages to appeal to both me (boho and all the decor, please) and my more style-conscious 16 y/o daughter. The clothes here are terrifically on trend and I came out of there with a candle, necklace, blouse, overalls, AND romper and did not bat an eye at the total. Very reasonable AND local! read more

ABEDNEGO is a super cute store in the hip neighborhood of Germantown. This area keeps growing and growing and I keep finding new businesses to explore. While the area has a lot of delicious restaurants, I think the shopping is also really great. There are a few cute boutiques that are locally owned (by women, girl power!) that I suggest checking out. ABEDNEGO is in a small strip of boutiques. While it is a smaller store, it has a lot of great items at a reasonable price. The majority is women's clothing, shoes, and accessories, but there are also some home goods for both men and women. The clothing is very "in" and has a boho-chic style. The owner is very nice and has always greeted me right when I walked in the door. She personally chooses everything that goes in her store. I always like buying local, especially when you meet the person who put so much work and passion into their business. It gives you a warm fuzzy feeling every time you purchase something. The jewelry is pretty and has a simple modern style. My favorite part is the shoe selection. If I was looking for a cool pair of booties or mules, I would come here first. And again, prices are fair for the quality you are receiving. If you're in the neighborhood, ABEDNEGO is worth checking out.
