As a visitor and a Hispanic mother shopping with her children, it was offensive and inconvenient. I was in Nashville for a conference and I decided to check out the local Occult scene so I came by Cosmic connections. Great selection of Incense, crystals, flower remedies, and other new age/spiritual paraphernalia. I am taking one star off my review because sadly the book collection wasn't very good and that's what I was really looking for. I know the South is usually Bible Belt country so I was actually kind of surprised to see a new age/ occult shop In Nashville, so good for them for sticking it out here. It would greatly behoove both business as well as customer's overall experience if after talking with you, the employees suddenly announced that they required your purse to be placed behind the cash register. While on a short vacation in late November, I stopped in here and finally found exactly what I had been looking for for the six previous weeks: four small, and one medium polished black obsidian stones, and one small clear quartz tower. Obsidian has properties that ward off negativity energy, and can be a powerful anchor in keeping people grounded. Clear quartz has also been used as a shield against negative energy and provides positive energy. It is believed to have positive mental and emotional healing properties, and can stimulate the immune system, among other things. There was a free graveled parking lot behind Cosmic Connections, which looks like a converted older home. The entrance to the store is in the front. This store is on the first floor, and I felt a calmness upon entering through the door. The employees are very attentive, and one of them warmly greeted us as we walked in. She told us the main items that were in each room, so to give us a general lay of the land. She asked if there was anything specifically that she could help us with, and I told her that we were just looking, for now. with that, she told us that any of the employees would be able to help us if we needed assistance. We walked around through every room, and at least one employee in each of the rooms (4) came to us and asked if we needed help finding anything. I asked about black obsidian and clear quartz crystals, and I was shown items in two different rooms. I liked that I was shopping in person, rather than shopping via online, because I can personally see the crystals and get a good idea of whether or not those are actually the ones for me. The prices I paid were very good! This store has a good variety of crystals, incense, books, candles, soaps, oils, books and many other items for your metaphysical needs. I will be coming back for sure the next time I'm in Nashville. read more

Shoutout for the absolute best COVID protocol I've encountered in a year! Cosmic Connections is a small space brimming with product, so they've been very careful to minimize risk by implementing a waiting list and shop by appointment. I arrived and waited in the lobby until several customers finished shopping, and I was asked wash my hands before I started browsing and to maintain appropriate distance from others and of course wear a mask while shopping. Rules were enforced regularly and kindly with all customers. Now to the fun stuff: the SELECTION. I can't imagine many needs that wouldn't be met by the stock here. Candles, oils, incense of many varieties and with tons of accessories for different kinds (stick, cone, herb, etc.), massive selection of crystals, jewelry, tarot and oracle cards, and any manner of books and guides for various practices. I was there with a relatively specific purpose so I didn't browse as extensively as I could have, but I was pleasantly surprised by all the options. So happy to support this local shop, and they make it easy with a rewards program. I got 20% off my whole purchase on the same day I signed up by following their social media and providing my birthday. Will absolutely be browsing here before I head to an Internet big-box store for spiritual and magical supplies. read more

Great selection of Crystals. We came here after visiting Nashville Crystal store via a Yelp recommendation on the reasonable prices compared to Nashville Crystal. Cosmic Crystal has many more small stone options at very reasonable prices. Some even under $3. Great for making necklaces. I also recommend that you sign up for their rewards program online before checking out as you will receive a discount on your first purchase. I heard them telling the person in front of me, so signed up quickly on my phone while in line. They also have parking available behind the store as well. read more

Let me start off by saying that I am a HUGE gemstone enthusiast. I've been collecting rocks and gems since I was a little kid, and love any excuse to browse collections of gemstones. Cosmic connections quite literally felt like being a little kid let loose in a candy store, but times a million. I had an employee at Pangea recommend Cosmic connections to me a month or so ago after purchasing a amethyst stone from them and have been meaning to stop by ever since. I quite literally could've spent a whole day in there. Unbelievable selection of such a broad range of gemstones, rocks, incense, books, everything under the sun. I spent a good while browsing all the different types of rare stones they had and was really in awe of the quality and variety they provided. My only qualm is that most of the items in the store are fairly expensive (I.e. some of the more rare palmstones were upwards of $100). I couldn't justify dropping that kind of dough on my grad student budget, but if I ever had a lot of money to blow, I would literally buy out the store. Absolutely check this out! read more

I had a reading with Mary Bogart about a year ago. She does have some gifting but her bedside manner is incredibly unhelpful. She kept saying things about me that were absolutely untrue about myself and my partner and when I contradicted her she almost acted like I was lying. She seemed irritated and stated that I would encounter bad situation after bad situation and then I'd "re listen to her recording and realize she was right all along." She seems to have a hard time realizing she could be wrong. It has still taken me over a year and a half to shake off her negative energy. read more

It's a shame I couldn't come in because of COVID but I ordered a big haul of things off their online shop and received my crystals just a couple days later. The fact that I'm writing a review of Cosmic Connections - after finding Cosmic Connections on Yelp - on a site where some equate it only with food/drink is a wonderful thing. Before I get into the meat of this review, let me talk about Belmont-Hillsboro. In all the years I've lived here, I've never driven through the neighborhood (or, through Belmont University). How pretty is this part of town? Wow! I need to get out more. Okay. Cosmic Connections. Because I need as many good vibes as possible, I have taken to smudging my house. I was set up with a truckload of sage so I am just now at the point of running out. Rather than going to a World Market*, I wanted to go to a specialist. Hence, Yelp. Hence, Cosmic Connections. Set in an old(er) home, you can smell the place from a block away. The calming incense instantly put me at ease. I asked the front clerk where to find the sage and then what sage was good for what purpose. He gave me a quick tutorial and then I set about looking around on my own. There's all sort of incense, crystals, totems, and the like. I don't prescribe to a lot of it but I know energy is energy and I like to stay on the positive side of that coin. I was low-key hoping that someone would bust out from the rear of the store, so wrapped up in my energy, to find me and give me a prediction of success and riches. That didn't happen. But I did find a very healthy bundle of New Mexican sage that I will use to re-energize my home and keep the bad vibes out. That's a win. I'll be back. *NO shade. After my Facebook feed showed there was rare lunar eclipse in Pisces that was to come about on Sept 16th, I had to do some research. 9/16/16 numerically alone was interesting to me as an engineer, something HAD to be up. There is A LOT of information out there for a novice, but basically, when it happens, we are supposed to let go of the past and move forward as the way the Sun and Moon move around planets, this is a rare event. Wow, Stone Keepers in Murfreesboro doesn't hold a candle to this place. If you're metaphysically sensitive or have unresolved issues tread carefully because this shop is the real deal, my chest hurts from all of the heart chakra stimulation (I need to work on it). There are 3 main rooms...2 crystal rooms and a room full of metaphysical and spiritual literature, sacred instruments and music and tarot. There is also a room for readings. A Pyrite Concretion sucked me in so that's on layaway, as well as some sage mist (POTENT!) The shop keeper is kind and knowledgeable, but quiet and not a hound that follows you around and makes you feel like a petty thief. New favorite haunt. read more

I couldn't rate the price so I gave it $$ because the prices start at FREE ( for great books people have brought in to donate) to a couple of hundred $ for amazing, huge geodes. They have classes, psychic readings, many things going on monthly. Review for Mary Bogart. I really wanted her reading to be accurate and for her to be helpful for me; unfortunately, her reading was anything but. Mary is very nice but it was obvious to me she was not psychiC. Just a few examples: she said my husband was an eater and needed to exercise more to avoid health issues ( he's an exercise fanatic), she stated that as I walked into her room the Angels (spirit guides) were stating I was worried about my brother. When I told her this was untrue she said that my brother with an S name was worried about someone. When she asked if I had a brother with an 'S' name I told her no. She then asked the names of my parents. My moms name does begin with an S and she said that was it. (Hummmm....?). When she began discussing my career, she said I do something with accounting. I told her I was a cosmetologist and she immediately said I would be doing my own business and that was why it came across as accounting ( because I would do my own finances ). She told me we were going to move. She said I was renting currently and would buy a new house in the next year. When I said we owned currently, she quickly said we would rent our current house out. I honestly just didn't want anyone else to waste their money on a reading from Mary. She was a sweet lady but was wrong on most of my reading. read more
