I worked with a wonderful man RICK regarding an emergency for a new refrigerator, thank you! So, what is not the greatest are your DELIVERY people. The person who delivered walked in my house with muddy shoes after I asked him to remove them since we just had new carpet installed. He told me to lay down towels to prevent any issue. PARDON ME? He left dirt spots all over my carpet - thank you very much. Such disrespect. I was also told they don't and won't take the trash from the new refrigerator, simple cardboard pieces - that they will only take the actual old appliance, any and all trash is left. Get real people. A sales guy talked me into making a purchase for 3 appliances through their credit service. I cancelled 2 appliance and kept the stove. I thought it was a good price for $599. The salesperson added a warranty I did not ask for. He also told me not to make a payment for 3 months in order to build my credit. I thought I would pay it off in February. After the 1st month the company sent me a bill with over a $900 charge with a late fee. I went to ABC warehouse and that's when they said a warranty was purchased that I did not ask for. They partially returned the warranty fee. Now finding I'm still paying approximately $900 for a $599 stove with a high interest rate of 24% for this card. Mind you, my credit was not that bad to get a high interest rate card. I have other credit cards. Buyer beware. They are very, very shady at this store. They will lie and cheat to get your business. Go some place else to get good deals. I don't trust a place that will lie and cheat to get my business. I will let everyone I know of my horrible experience. read more

BUYER BEWARE: Michael VanDaele was the salesman for my mattress purchase in Centerline, MI. I asked him for the softest mattress for my elderly mother. He said the Temperpedic Queen Luxe Adapt was without a doubt, the best. He said he had one himself & besides, I can always return it if she doesn't like it. She ended up not liking it. I call the store & speak to Scott after being on hold for 30 min.. When I call again & I mention the hold, the first thing Scott, the store mgr. wants to say to me is that, no I wasn't on hold for 30min.. I let it go. I asked him a few questions about particular mattresses that I saw on the ABC site while I was on hold & he said that he had several of them & to come in & try them out. He says yes when I ask if he would help me when I come in. I ask him about the return policy & he says, I can't return it, I can only exchange it. Michael V. forgot to explain that's how a "RETURN" works in their store. Okay, I figure I can spend the difference in ABC in the future. I take my mom in & I hear Scott speaking to Michael loudly, that he (Scott) didn't know I was bringing my mom in for a return. Scott decides not to help me. Michael is nervous & paces back & forth to the desk, instead of helping me with my elderly mom. I show him my list of mattresses that Scott said we could try out & they don't have any of them. I ask him if we pick out a less expensive mattress, how will we get the credit to spend in the store for the balance? He looks at me and says, I won't be getting the credit, he'll sell me (something I don't need) for my mom's mattress. I ask, even if it's a $1,000.? He looks at me blankly. Lying by omission is DISHONEST. I want to be generous & say this is an isolated incident with mattresses, but since this was my first experience in the ABC stores, I will not be returning. read more

Ok, so...we're walking into this particular location. The salesman are standing at the door lined up like so many vultures waiting for "meat" (i.e. docile customers) My fiance, Denise wasn't having it. Before they could approach she exclaimed with a stern voice, "Looking...I'll let you know!". They all froze like a dear in headlights. I wish I could do that. Anywho, we ventured in to buy a fridge. ABC always has an ample selection of new items -- electronics, appliances, furniture, etc. They even have slightly damaged items for negotiable prices. We were able to secure a $2K+ fridge for $1k out the door with free delivery. We opted to go with the standard warranty. We always feel like we got shafted with extended warranty options for appliances. Besides, I discovered that the salesman get a major cut from those warranties. Delivery was late. Left a message with the manager. No call yet... They finally showed and the delivery person was so personable and efficient that I gave these guys an extra 2 stars. It worked out. read more

They have some pretty cool cooking gizmos there and god selections of audio supplies. Besides the massage chairs, there is hardly any reason to shop for anything else there. I was there to purchase a new tv ok, seen one and I wasn't so much on a budget but I wanted a good deal. Asked the guy who was helping me how much it was if I paid cash. After 20 minutes he came back and said he could give me the floor model only and if I paid cash it would only be $279. During the time I was waiting I found Walmart had a brand new one with a warranty for $220 in the box still! I told the fella and he said oh yeah we buy most of Walmarts stock before they can put it out. What a joke. read more

I bought a fridge and gas stove on April 21, 2021 and was told that both were in stock. I set up the delivery day for May 1, 2021. I receive an email from them on May 1st at 6:52 am stating that they have loaded my two items onto the truck and that I was the 11th out of 12 deliveries that day and they would arrive between 8am and noon. At 12:50 in the afternoon I receive a phone call from Mr. Rzeppa the salesperson who sold them to me stating that the delivery guys had to go back to the store to pick-up and load my fridge and stove onto the truck but, unfortunately they were only going to be able to deliver my stove because they couldn't find the fridge I bought so they have to order a new one for me yet it won't be delivered until either the 6th or 7th of this week. #1. The email I received that morning was a lie being as my items were never loaded onto the truck and #2 that salesperson lied to me about both items being in stock when I paid for them. He obviously needed that commision and I believe that he should reach into his pocket and pay for the fridge I bought and give me my money back for the amount I paid that way he will be the example of not screwing with a customer. read more

I needed help finding a dishwasher and called around. I decided on ABC warehouse and A man named Ray answered the phone! I asked if they had a certain kind I saw on the website available. He was very quick and nice on the phone and let me know they did t have it available. He then took it upon himself to call another store nearby and find he item for me! He gave me the name of the person who was holding it and was very cordial. If ever in need looking for any appliances in the future, I will give this location a call! read more

I have been shopping at ABC warehouse for 20 years at least. I check everywhere just to be sure, and they always have the best price. One of the things I liked about them when I first started going there was they always have a lot of whatever is on sale. No bait and switch. I respect them for that. Yes, Damon D the salesmen are lined up at the door so you will get served. Most people, perhaps not you, would complain if they were ignored. And I'm sure a friendly "just looking" would have sufficed as well as a stern one for your girlfriend to let the salesmen know they weren't needed yet. My grandparents always had service contracts, and we got the furnace fixed and the fridge several times and finally replaced when I lived with them during college. I have service contracts and only used it once, its the chance you take. And so what if the salesmen get a cut of the service contract? They have bills too. ABC has always been good to me and I will give them five stars. read more

By far the worst abc warehouse in Michigan so terrible that I recommend going to any garner white, Art van, or Alberts furniture before any abc warehouse. I paid for a washer and dryer to be delivered and installed and when they brought it they just left it there in the basement. So they basically stole my money for the installation, the delivery men are the most unprofessional people you can meet.
