There are large slides with water, small toddler size water slides, bouncy houses, and paint ball. The tent we had for two hours came already decorated. We just had to bring our food and drinks. This place is wonderful! My kids loved it. We went with the expectation of staying one hour but of course the kids didn't want to go. I was charged only 20 bucks more total for my 4 kids to play one more hour. I was able to buy sunscreen and towels, snacks, and drinks all at very reasonable prices. The folks working there are also top notch, they are kind and seem to really enjoy giving families a safe and fun experience. Will be coming back. read more

Very fun for my 6 year old nephew! It's very clean and the staff is nice. $19 for an hour, $15 for half hour. They put a color wristband with the time written on it on to keep track. I heard them announce that you could extend your child's playtime by 30 minutes for $5 if their time limit is up. We went on a Sunday and it was 80°, thank goodness they were selling Easter, drinks, snacks and Halloween accessories. There's a shady spot in the middle so parents can rest. My nephew wouldn't go on the 3 huge inflatable slides cause they were really tall and he said they was really hot. There's no shade over the huge slides and the plastic gets super hot. read more

We came here to get a Christmas tree at the beginning of this month. We're used to getting trees from other ABC locations in the Bay Area and this location in San Mateo also met our expectations. They had a wide variety of trees and it was fun to walk around looking at all of them. This is the first year where we have room for a bigger one so we chose a five-foot Noble fir to bring home. A staff member trimmed the end of the tree for us, put on a stand, put it in some netting, and put it on our car for us. We also got tips on how to keep it healthy -- keeping the water bowl filled, not putting it near any heating vents, and spritzing the branches and leaves with some water every day. It's been a couple of weeks and our tree is still holding up well. If you want to go to a local place to get a tree, come to ABC! read more

Price is pretty steep -- $10 for 30 minutes. I didn't see anything about a $20 all day pass, as advertised on their website. I only saw a sign that listed pricing is $20 for an hour or $10 for 30 minutes. On a hot day, the slides and jumpers get quite hot. My 8 year old slid down one time on an 80 degree day and she complained about the slide burning her skin. So on hot days, we only come here for the water slides. Little kids have to be careful since there are older kids playing in the same area and I have seen some rough play. Also have to be careful of the floors getting slippery from the water. They use tarp to cover the ground and kids from the water slide run around making a lot of things wet, which as common sense goes, makes all things plastic slippery. So just be careful. My kiddo has slipped accidentally. There are signs stating play at your own risk. Only have porta-potty on site -- there are 3. If you come early, they're fairly decent as far as peeing in a hole goes... definitely come prepared with towels and swimsuit ready for water read more

Don't waste your money! My visit to the pumpkin patch was marred by a regrettable encounter with one of the employees. My family and I had purchased paintballs for a fun activity, but the experience took a sour turn when an employee aggressively approached my son. He accused my child of not being able to read and continued to argue with me even after I pointed out that the sign was at his hip, and my son couldn't have seen it. I explained that he should approach me, not my child, but the employee's demeanor remained unprofessional. This unfortunate incident tainted an otherwise enjoyable outing, leaving a negative impression of the pumpkin patch's staff and customer service Follow up to my previous review I would like to provide an update that the manager responded by apologizing for my bad experience and has offered me a full refund. I was not excited to see the reviews but decided to check out the place. Absolutely a wonderful place for your kids to have some fun in the bouncy house and also on the waterslides. Water slides are a super hit with my kids and we have been here twice already. 19 dollars per hour per kid. Some dry slides and some wet slides. The water area had some dirt in it but that would be expected with kids going in and out. Will come back soon! A hidden gem. Found this lot a few years ago while on a biz trip. Jade and the crew at Burlingame are the earliest lot open (day before Thanksgiving) and have the freshest trees. I drive over from Stockton because of the quality & genuine friendly service! Of course she always up sells me to a 9' flocked tree but they are so pretty I can't say no! The only bathrooms are portable toilets. The staff are friendly, it wasn't crowded when we were there, and there are tents set up to provide shade for parents. This place is run by some disgruntled miserable people. When we first entered, the older white lady asked if we were there to take photos with pumpkins and I thought it was an odd question then I said yes and then she responded those pumpkins can be purchased if you just bring them up here. Um Ok I think we all know this ? No point in being pushy. We're grown adults , grandparents and know the drill. Then later on she walked up to me and asked if my kid needed to buy a bracelet. Um what for ? He's not getting on any of the large slides or bouncy houses because he's too small. All the slides are for older children and actually quite dangerous because no one is monitoring any of the slides except if you pay for a bracelet. Then as my kid was walking along the edges of the blue blocks which I imagine are for parents to sit and wait for their kids another teenager looking boy comes over and says that I need to buy a bracelet and sign a waiver for him because it's a liability for them. Um okay another sales push. Do they not know a signed waiver doesn't do anything if a person wanted to sue you ? It wasn't even busy when we were there. It's not like there were tons of kids running around. In fact it was the opposite. Barely any people were there. It's also super windy and near the freeway so lots of dust gets kicked around which isn't good for people to inhale. We had planned on taking some photos and buying some pumpkins but after what was all said, we decided to leave right after. Go to a real pumpkin patch where staff and employees actually are friendly to you and not bitter they aren't making any business. Go somewhere that's fun and family friendly and a lot nicer because there are a ton of pumpkin patches to pick from. One suggestion is Classic Pumpkin Patch in Castro Valley. It's free to enter, they have rides , nice pumpkin displays everywhere and the staff are so kind. Forget this place unless you want that older lady and teenager pushing you to buy something. read more

We went here to pick up our Christmas tree this year, they had a nice selection of trees when we went and I saw them restocking them as people were taking some, so the stock stays plentiful. Most of the trees looked to be around 5-7ft. They carry three types of trees, the Douglass Fir (least expensive), the Grand Fir (middle), and a third that I can't remember the name of because it was incredibly long, but that was the priciest one. They also carry miniature trees that remind me of the one from Charlie Brown's Christmas. I pick my tree based on how it looks, I want a tree that is full of needles with little to no bald spots. The tree that I picked just happened to be the most expensive kind. We got a tree in the 5ft/6ft range and it cost about $100 before the stand and netting (which they do charge extra for). That's my only complaint, if you're used to spending $50/$60 on a tree, you don't want to come here. I noticed that many of the guys working there were wearing BHS shirts. As far as jobs for a high schooler go, I think that's one of the best, so I was happy to be supporting them and made sure to tip nicely. They also do a good job securing the tree onto the car. I drove back to San Bruno without any issues. The layout was pretty standard for a tree lot, no extra activities for kids (but that's probably due to COVID). Everyone working there is wearing a mask or face covering, and you must wear a mask or face covering to enter the lot, and since it's also outdoors, I felt very safe. read more

I absolutely hated my visit here to this particular patch, in mid October. I stood in line with everyone else. I asked if there were some sort of requirements for the children in attendance. They told me that I had to sign a waiver. Ok, fine. They went ahead and took my money and only after that did they tell me that because my daughter was so petite that she wouldn't be able to participate in the activities that they were offering. They told me that she had to be at least 2 years old. That was the case. My lil one was just over 2 years old, at 25 months. And still although I explained this to them, they still did NOT allow my lil one to participate in some of the activities and attractions at the patch. Upset as ever, I did ask for a refund but wan't ever given one. At some point, I didn't care. I just wanted to leave. I clearly asked what "requirements" there were for my lil one to be able to participate in the patch activities. She met the requirements and still they didn't allow her to play with the big kids. What a terrible experience! The weather was in the 90's so there was literally only one slide available for the children to use. The other slides scolding hot! These people are sooo shady!!! They told me its too hot so don't go on it refused to give me a refund for misrepresentation. I will never go there again! The business is set up like a carnival. They are transients who travel from place to place with camper shells on top of their trucks which you can see in the parking lot when you pull into the lot. Very unsafe for children. read more

The slides are all way too hot to use expect for the ONE water slide which gets filled with dirty water. None of the staff monitor the slides for safety purposes. I had my sons birthday party here, paid for the party and they went up to my guest behind my back and asked for additional money for "extra slide time" when it was still during the time period I paid for- they never gave them a receipt and pocketed the money. We never received the bottled water. The manager Nikki is unprofessional, classless and rude. Not safe for little children as none of the staff monitor any of the bouncy houses. I really don't know how this place obtained permits to be open but I will be contacting the city of San Mateo. read more

Clean and family friendly and the price was fair and what I expected to pay. Madee especially loved the giant slide. The staff was helpful and attentive. This is probably my first yelp review, the bouncy castle was clean , it was a little expensive. Everything was going great & my 2 year old was having lot of fun. Unfortunately, in the bouncy castle, there was another two year boy who was crushing my daughter, we were just barely able to see her and there was no employees from the place to help us out until we went and complained. she had wounds on her head and cheek.!! Either have employees around to keep children in check or allow parents to enter into the bouncy castle incase of emergencies May never go back to this establishment again.! read more
