Came for a kids birthday party, so I can't say how helpful they are with planning. However, this location is terrible in terms of parking. The lot is small (10-15 cars) and street parking on the same street is also limited. Street parking one street down has a one hour limit. I spent 15 minutes circling around looking for some place to park without a limit, making us late for the event. The party itself was two hours but felt very rushed, as if the employees were just going through the motions to get us through the play arenas into the party room. read more

We came here for a birthday party. There are very few parking spots. We got lucky to find one. The bouncy houses were fun but there was little to no supervision. My child got injured twice. The worst of all was the party room. The staff was acting like they didn't want to be there. They had taken over half the tables with pizzas and tried to squeeze all the kids on the other half. There wasn't enough space. They saw there were kids that had nowhere to sit and did NOTHING. Completely ignored them. Didn't bother giving them a plate, giving them pizza, drinks or cake. Basically treated them like they don't belong there. The party hosts looked like high school kids who just couldn't be bothered. Horrible experience. Definitely don't recommend. After writing the review, I went to look at past reviews and they clearly don't care about feedback since 2+ years ago people had similar terrible experience. read more

Just hosted my daughter's 6th birthday here. She had a blast as always, but I will say the service for the price could be better. I know they are just kids, but the party hosts were not proactive with anything. Multiple times I stepped in for things. Other places have hosts who ask about taking pictures with birthday family, etc. and we did not get that. Also beware the "kids" drink consisted of Brisk Fruit Punch and Brisk Lemonade, not the juice boxes that they had just a few months ago. My daughter just celebrated her birthday here with 20 friends and had a blast. We were greeted promptly curbside by our host Molly who came out to our car to unload everything. She was the first person we interacted with and was so helpful, making sure check-in went smoothly and all questions were answered. Our dedicated party attendees Nicole and Gabby then took over and provided a seamless experience for us from start to finish. From the decor details, cake cutting, food service, and clean-up they were on top of it all and were so incredibly friendly. I felt very much at ease and the kids absolutely love it here. Prices are not transparent for the parties. Beware there's a mandatory tip of 20% which is absurd. They don't allow outside food at all and what they advertise as "juice" was just $1 juice drinks probably from the dollar store (super unhealthy and full of chemicals). Facility is old, run down and unsanitary. I attended a party here and was highly unsatisfied with my experience. Throughout the arenas there are plenty of torn or broken down pieces of infrastructure, whether it is the inflatables or simple maintenance. The place is entirely ran by teenagers, which is not a problem but there seems to be no adult supervision. Employees easily slack off and remain inattentive while children are at play. To top it off the food is overpriced and poor quality. You pay $38 for a pizza and $30 for a 10 serving fruit bowl. This place is a complete scam and I suggest reviewing your options before booking here. read more

Came here for open play on a Sunday. Paid $19 per kid, and was told rock climbing is not available for open play. We checked in at 4:20pm, staff told us to wait in the lobby and forgot about us, so we went in at 4:30pm but she said it starts at 4:35pm and asked us to get out and wait. They have Arena A & B. Each arena has 3 bouncy houses with slides. Very simple structures for kids 5-9 years old. Older kids may not be interested and younger kids may get hurt by other kids. Two vending machines on site, you can get drinks and snacks for about $2.5 each (cash only). All water fountains on site are not available. read more

HORRIBLE Experience at Valentine's Parent's night out. We dropped off our 3 kids at Belmont Pump it Up. After the kids are back, they complained that there were an elderly Caucasian blonde woman constantly hoovering them and yelled at them the entire time during play time AND dinner time. We are very shocked and felt disturbing as parents night out are not supposed to have parent around. Especially the one that yelled at them are not the staff member who wears a pink T-shirt. We complained to Pump it up the same night on 2/14 and it turned out their manager onsite let a grandparent stay at the parent night out as an exceptional case. We were shocked and to be honest furious. First of all, that parent is not vetted team members or nor she's the staff members who have been trained on how to handle kids. Secondly how would I know that if she's a sex offender or not? She could be a criminal that we don't know. The most furious thing to us is the response from Pump it up owner stating that 3 of their staff members also mentioned that they never noticed the grandma talking to anyone else except her own grandkid and no yelling occurred during the event. So maybe our kids were illusional and made up all the lies? My kids mentioned that the "old granny" were yelling at them the whole time, at the slides, play area, block area...etc and she even spied on them when they were eating pizzas. They said she yelled at her for no reason and threatened them with time out punishment. My point is we all paid for the same price for the parent night out, the manager onsite that day let that "old granny" get her bonding time with her kid but 3 of my kids suffer throughout the whole 2.5 hours. We parents have to comfort them afterwards so instead of a relaxing night out for us, it became a nightmare for us. You asked us to sign the waiver and mentioned no parent is allowed at a parent's night out but broke the rule just for 1 single parent. We have been to so many parent's night out places and this is the first one that made us we feel so bad and furious afterwards. I definitely won't recommend this place to anyone and I hope no other kids will encounter the same experience that we had on 2/14. For the kids that went there on 2/14, maybe you should check with your kids and see if the "old granny" yelled at them that day as well. read more

We just hosted our daughter's 6 year old birthday at pump it up Belmont with 18 kids. They all had a blast! What I really like about the whole experience: 1. Booking was very easy to make. Just need to create an account, select packages and sent out invite. 2. Customer support can be reached by text and they are extremely responsive. They normally respond within 1hr or even quicker. 3. The whole party was definitely hassle free for parents. All we had to do was to show up on time, and bring a cake + candle. The staff were super helpful with everything. The only thing I need to point out is the parking situation... we got there 45 min early because my daughter was too excited and couldn't wait. As a result we spent 30 min looking for parking lol. Eventually I got the special parking spot for birthday host. So the tip is .. don't get there too early. 10-15 min earlier is more than enough. My daughter is already asking for us to host her 7th Birthday at pump it up next year. read more

2 separate large play areas...one area with standard lighting...2nd area with black lights to make things glow...3rd being the party room to eat...standard rotation of 2-hour parties...starting from 1 play room to the 2nd, and finishing in the eating room...staff gives an introduction and explanation to start the party, and kids run wild...staff doesn't really supervise or enforce any rules, so would be cautious with young children...the main issue is the status of almost all the inflatable play structures...really worn and needing to be replaced...some features barely standing from too many holes...lot of the plastic is rough and cracking... read more

I recently attended a birthday held at Pump It Up. Overall, it was fun and the bounce houses were enjoyable but the whole experience was somewhat rushed. Pros: 2 different rooms of bounce houses - 1 was normally lit and the other one was darkened to enhance the glow-in-dark features. There's other activities in the dark room, such as a wind tunnel (you pay extra for it, takes card) and a climbing wall (there's grown ups to assist the kids). Overall, there's little to complain about in terms of fun! Felt clean and well kept up. Cons: Felt very hurried. There's a time limit on each room and you're moved into the next room. Use of the party area also felt very rushed and the room was cramped. No tot spot or activities for participant siblings who might be too young for the bounce houses. Parking in the area is difficult, especially with other high traffic businesses nearby. This venue has a small lot but it's nowhere close to being enough for parties, and a lot of the street parking is taken up by the gymnastics patrons across the street. read more

Just had a 6 year old birthday party and the children had a wonderful time. Our party attendants and the front desk staff were absolutely wonderful to our guests and really made the experience much more fun and magical than I was expecting. The attendants are like great camp counselors and very sweet and enthusiastic with the kids. I would say this is the perfect venue for that age group. Other reviews nothing that the equipment is tired and underinflated are fair, and we noticed the same. I would emphasize though that I did not feel that there was anything that was a safety issue. The only negative in our opinion was the food. It was fine for the children but not very appetizing for adults. The staff in shop are great, the play area in nice. The problem is I've been calling for 2 weeks to try and get the photos from the party we had there, told multiple time they would send them but still haven't received them, for a $40 fee I might add. We didn't take too many photos ourselves because the staff told us they take them. There are a few hidden charges that might catch you out. The $40 dollar photo fee for 1. I got a fruit plate for the kids for an additional $30 which in reality I could have got in Safeway for $10 because that's where the got it from. The apple juice was also an additional fee which was just a big Kirkland jug. Better off bringing in your own food and beverages if possible. read more

I went to a birthday party here and the staff, specifically Meher was serving the fruit salad and opening the veggie platters. They both had mold. She specifically saw the moldy strawberries and mixed it inside the fruit salad and then proceeded to serve the kids. I was appalled. I went to her and said I saw you serve the kids moldy fruit. Service is good and the place is a blast for kids from 4 years old to probably 9 year old. They don't allow outside food. They have several packages and we took the 2 hour package which we thought was too little. We also availed their photography service which I thought was necessary as parents will be busy socializing and taking care of the kids. However their photography is not great. Extremely disappointed and they have extremely rude staff. Had a birthday party booked that we ended up having to cancel 1 week in advance due to a majority of the kids coming down with RSV. They are charging a $300 cancellation fee and when I asked if she would rather I bring a bunch of kids with RSV to the party I was told "THAT IS UP TO YOU".... what?!?! They would rather have a bunch of ill children jumping and then immediately let in another birthday party? That seems extremely inappropriate and unsanitary. I will never be returning as now I know it's a germ spreading location and their unwillingness to accommodate or reschedule is extremely disappointing. We recently had my son's 7th birthday party at Pump It Up Belmont. I've been waiting for more than 2 years to do a Pump It Up Party for my son. We were waiting out the pandemic. This year felt like the right time to try out Pump it Up. The SF location didn't make it through the pandemic but luckily Belmont is open and awesome. From beginning to end it was a very well run experience. Parking was easy. The facility is clean and spacious and airy. Some friends wore masks, most chose not to wear masks. A few friends who initially wore masks later decided with the spacious rooms and the high ceilings they were comfortable removing their masks. My son and his friends had a terrific experience. They loved the bounce houses, the bubbles, and the two different bounce rooms. The birthday throne was really special. When we went to the food room the staff took care of serving the pizza, pouring the drinks and cutting the cake. Overall a very fun experience for kids. read more

I really hate to write this review but I have in mind all the good people looking for a venue for a birthday party for their son or daughter -- I don't want them to spend a ton of money and end up feeling disappointed which is what happened to me. I hosted my daughter's birthday party here two years ago -- in January 2020 right before the pandemic -- and we had a positive experience. This go round however my main feeling was of a place in pretty significant disrepair. Really really worn. Specifically all of the inflatables in Arena A were extremely underinflated. It seemed they had holes and couldn't hold the air. It's way less fun to bounce on things that are too squishy and can't even hold up. Part of the arch in one of the inflatables was actually toppled over. Arena B was better but the party room again was kind of a desert. We were promised one person to be in there during the party helping -- I had remembered servers helping before -- but there was no one there. That's OK but not for an $800 experience. So either they should discount their experience significantly to reflect the current experience or they should invest and regroup or close doors and reopen as something else. read more

They charge you 28$ for a fruit tray that's the 3 for $12 size at Safeway. The pizza was from Togos and was cold and barely had cheese.
