We were in the Game Room (vs the Art Room) --highly recommend because they can hop from activity to activity. Some played Nintendo Switch on one of the two large TVs (multiple controllers) while others played ping pong or the basketball arcade game. There's also a pool table & foosball table, with plenty of seating and conveniently located next to the restrooms (and water fountain). Everything was in good working order and well maintained. Half of the time for the party is spent in this room, the other half (for pizza and sundae bar) were hosted in the dance studio room, which was a nice change of scenery and kept the kids entertained. Shout out to the staff who look after the kids and the facility. Love that they offer the pizza and ice cream as add ons because coordinating food while managing the party is always a challenge. I brought some salad to supplement and it was no big deal. They provide the plates, utensils, table cloths, and light decorations. There was a basketball game that day but you can catch a glimpse of the court from previous posts here on Yelp.

On the event day, everything was prepped, the staff was watching over kids without being intrusive (for their benefit, kids were playing nicely, not throwing nintendo controllers to eachother etc). I will be back for more birthday parties until my kids grow out of it.

I especially appreciate that the instructors provide hands-on guidance to help kids through each activity instead of just letting them wander and explore on their own. For toddlers and preschoolers, I personally preferred The Little Gym over some nearby gymnastics programs that seem geared more toward older kids. It's also reassuring that some instructors appear to have been there for years, which feels like a good sign. The birthday parties were easy and low-stress. We dropped off food and decorations ahead of time, and the staff handled setup, led the kids through activities, and served food very efficiently. Pricing also felt reasonable compared to some other party venues. Having Mountain Mike's Pizza right next door was an added bonus for party food and convenience. The main downside is that weekend preschool morning classes can be difficult to get into because they fill up quickly. Otherwise, we've really loved our experiences at The Little Gym!

Our ten year old went swimming almost every single day, and loved his field trip to the pinball museum. He made friends and felt very welcomed. Our seven year old loved his camp counselors and got a huge kick out of the pickle making activity and water day. Overall the staff were kind, attentive and very organized. I was told this was one of the more expensive camps in town--you definitely get what you pay for. Our kids are already asking to go back next year!

A transformative summer for my 9 year old rising 4th grader! My son often enjoys being at home…read moreplaying with his legos, reading, and playing with his brother. He is high functioning and can navigate most social situations, but this is what he prefers-- being home, playing independently and sticking to his happy routine. When I signed him up for camp Keff, I wasn't sure what to expect, as other than soccer he has never participated in anything like Camp Keff before. The first day we met his counselors, they asked all of the right questions and went out of their way to introduce themselves to my son and our family. The counselors were warm and introduced our son to other new campers in his group. My sense is that this was very intentional on their part, so as to foster a sense of connection amongst the newer campers. When we left him that day, he looked quite serious so naturally I went home wondering, "did I make the right choice encouraging him to get out of his comfort zone for a full 4 weeks (half of his summer break)?" Yes, that's right, we signed him up for 4 weeks knowing that no refund would be issued and it was the best decision ever! From that day forward, I dropped him off every day smiling and he would come home with an even bigger smile with so many camp stories to share! We weren't sure if he was ready to go on an overnight with the camp just yet, but as it turns out, we were the ones that weren't ready yet and he was LOL! He went on his first overnight with Keff and had an absolutely sensational time building forts, making crafts and eating s'mores by the fire. My son made so many new friends and even more wonderful memories I know he will cherish for a lifetime. He experienced so many new and engaging activities and with the support of Keff's well trained and experienced counselors, he was able to navigate things that have been more challenging in the past with ease. My son is already talking about going back next summer. His excitement and enthusiasm about all things Keff is a testament to the care and dedication with which these counselors approach their work of providing a safe and nurturing environment for campers to explore, play and create in! My only regret-- not signing him up for more weeks of camp. :) My many, many thanks and congratulations to the entire Keff camp staff on an epic summer of fun! Thank you for all that you do and for your care and commitment to the safety of our children!

I drove around a few blocks to get back to the park and parked in near some picnic tables. Once we finished lunch, we walked the dog around the park. We have a poop bag container attached to each of our leashes, but it was nice that the park had a dispenser. The one thing that was missing was that the water fountain did not have a spigot at doggy level. People were friendly and returned our greetings. Before returning to our vehicle, we took advantage of the restroom which was clean. We noticed as we were leaving that numerous other people were beginning their walks with their dogs at the park.

Playground: it's not a big playground, but has a nice play structure and swings. Sandbox area. All in all, a nice, quiet park and has easily become one of my favorites to bring the kids.

Last summer she attended a one week gymnastics camp elsewhere so this is her second summer gymnastics camp. We couldn't really see what happens during the camp because of the gym layout even though there's a balcony where you can sit and watch - we didn't really feel welcome to do that. Thus I have no pictures to post. What has already been posted does give you an idea of the gym format. (I'm disappointed about this.) I am giving it 4 stars based on my granddaughters rating after she was done with the camp by asking her on a scale of 1 to 10 - what would she rate it? She said 8 and smiled. When we picked her up, she was always happy and did look forward to going. So that is a plus. It is hard to figure out if she learned anything because she is not one to be verbose when we asked her what she did. The only response I got was she did hand stands and demonstrated pike jumps. When I ask if she jumped in the pit or on the trampoline - all I got was one word- Yes, I also found out they do crafts every Thursday. Because there are so many kids in the camp (over 50+) from what I could tell, I was impressed that some staff call her by name. I learned they eat their snack and lunch outside in the parking lot and sit on the ground - so that's why she got sunburned (you will need to put sunblock on your child). It's also where you pick up your child as they line up in groups after you sign out your child on the clip board on the table. Even though the camp ends at 3pm- they are already ready for pickup as early as 2:50, sometimes 2:45, To summarize, I have no idea if she learned anything new. The important thing is my granddaughter enjoyed it.

Poorly organized and your kid better have thick skin…read more Disappointed in the summer camp program (can't comment on the regular school year classes). To sum up: 1) a stressed instructor trying to put on a play with 25 kids in one week at a cost of good vibes and empathy; 2) unprofessionalism due to an overlooked conflict of interest and 3) poor communication. This combo resulted in our 6-year old, who loves acting and singing and was very excited about this camp, on day 3 refusing to finish the 5-day camp. As confirmed by the instructor, she lost her role in the play, which she really wanted and loved, because she started crying and had a hard time stopping. There wasn't enough time (or empathy) to deal with tears, so our daughter was sidelined. To the point of unprofessionalism - the meltdown was triggered by a perceived ongoing unfairness of favoritism with the teacher's kid, during games and when participating in the play. A good example - a number of other kids (not ours) had wanted the lead role, so it was "auditioned," with the teacher's kid going first and being given the lead role by her mom, a clear conflict of interest and easily avoidable. Then because of poor communication, it took two days to talk to anyone to understand why my kid was removed from her role. The contact number takes one to voicemail, and then a full day to get a callback. So our daughter tearfully urged us that she didn't want to go back anymore (and we didn't make her).
