So glad they are open in a new location. It's such a great place for kids to tap into their creative side!

Lots of great paintings! Looking forward to doing mine.

Love our sip n' paint experience. First, the space is large yet cozy. There's a bar where you can chill and enjoy a variety of beverages (including non-alcoholic choices). The ladies are friendly and obviously enjoy working there. Cassie was the best! She guided our group with a very chill vibe and was super fun! I'll be back for sure, loved the end result.

I came here for a team building event with roughly 20 people. For a group of finance people, this was a unique and first-time opportunity for many of my colleagues to explore their creative sides. And if you truly doubt your artistic abilities, there's nothing like some liquid courage to provide you some talent and inspiration since they have a bar area as well. From my experience at typical Paint Nite events, they're usually hosted inside a restaurant, bar, shop, etc. The pleasant and convenient part about Create Mix and Mingle is that this is a storefront that provides a space dedicated for these painting events. Our private event was well organized as we had brought pizza in to eat before painting class. The instructions were simple and fun as everyone ended with a masterpiece to take home.

Had so much fun doing a Paint & Sip over at Create Mix and Mingle. We did this as birthday thing for me and as an early ish NYE celebration. The instructor walked everybody through each step thoroughly and was very encouraging throughout the process. We were all provided the necessary supplies to complete the painting and were taught "painting hacks" with napkins that still made the process fun. They also had a pretty decent selection of seltzers, beers, and wines. I would definitely recommend this to anybody of any skill level. So much fun!

Children grow older, and eventually they no longer want to do parties at the bounce houses anymore. The Daughter draws a lot and likes to paint, and research led The Wife to find Create Mix and Mingle for a birthday party. Located right off the 101/92 junction across the street from the Fish Market, it's easy to find in the recessed strip mall. Ample parking is available. We were greeted warmly, and I was surprised to see a wine bar. The rooms are quite large, there are two rooms available for the sessions. Four rows of paper-lined picnic tables had table top easels with canvases already mounted. Paint supplies were also set up and the model painting is on a stage. Everyone takes a seat in front of a canvas, and a skilled teacher is on stage with a wireless hands free microphone showing which brush he selects, what paint he dips it in, and how he applies it. Like Bob Ross, but not quite as happy. Our party of tweenage girls follow along while the moms drink wine and chat and Daddy goes to the Office Depot. The girls painted pretty good copies of the model (there were a few that were abstract), and they had a blast. I was kind of jealous that I didn't get to do it. They were done in about 80 minutes. Then we had pizza and cupcakes and finished the party as normal. We chatted with who I think is the owner, and she explained the variety of packages they have including summer camps; she's really enthusiastic about making the customer happy. Plus, as a bonus, it was a lot less than some of the premium party places. One of the girls said she's having her next birthday here, and I'm sure some of the other moms will too.

This place is the perfect date night! I've never been to any Paint Nights or anything similar of that nature, and haven't done any painting since grade school, so I was very apprehensive about my ability to make anything remotely close to the design of the night. However, they walk you through every step and make the whole process pretty idiot proof, so you are almost guaranteed to end up with a decent painting that you can proudly say that you painted yourself and display in your home. My boyfriend took me here for Valentine's Day. The painting changes every time, so be sure to look on their website and pick a painting that you like. I also like how the location is in a studio-like space, surrounded by paintings from previous nights. The cost per person is $55, which gets you the lesson, the painting to take home, a free glass of wine or champagne, and some snacks (a pretty decent spread of cheese, salami, fruit, chocolates, and candied pecans). We were there for a total of 2.5 hours (7-9:30pm). Would definitely come back again!

Fun way to spend a weekday with your girlfriends or with your significant other for a date night. My gripe about this place was that it did not start on time. On the reservation it said we needed to be there early to check in and get settled so I got there over 20 mins ahead of schedule and there was still a "Closed" sign on the door. I called the business and no answer. Finally with about 5 minutes until the stated class time did the doors open. The class did not start until about 30 mins after as people were getting settled, buying snacks/drinks, etc... We didn't end the class until well over 9:30 and still hadn't eaten dinner so keep that in mind if heading to a class straight after work. 3.5 stars

Came here for a company event and the entire staff were all very helpful and nice! When we were booking the event, they were very flexible in terms of payment and we were able to pay a deposit and then pay the rest based on our confirmed number of attendees. This is a huge plus since many venues require payment early on, or require payment for a certain number of attendees quoted even though that number could change in the future. We booked the entire main class area for the event, so it was a nice private setting. Onto the actual event - the staff was very accommodating to the group and the instructor was very kind and thoughtful, walking around asking people if they needed more paint, giving his opinion on people's paintings and answering questions. Since a lot of the people had no experience at all painting, the instructor did a great job helping everyone out and constantly reinforcing that 'there is no right way to do this!' Additionally, they served drinks - wine, beers, and soda. They have a nice selection of wines and beers, and I noticed people who had gotten sodas had izze and mexican coke, which is better than I expected (I'm not really sure what I was expecting, probably just the standard aluminum can sodas like pepsi/coke/mountain dew).

Totally love going it was my first going I had never painted after high school. I had a blast with my coworkers and everyone was super nice and attentive with our group. Definitely recommend this place and I will definitely come back with my sisters:)

David, the owner, welcomed us into the studio and gave us a tour before we started. He taught us the basics and all the important things to know when working on the wheel. He was incredibly informative, hands-on, patient, and welcoming--and also really funny, which made the whole experience even more relaxed and enjoyable. It was our first time trying wheel throwing and we had so much fun that my husband and I couldn't stop talking about it afterward. We each made two pieces, and for beginners I think we did pretty well lol! We were honestly so excited to come back and pick up our creations. The staff and members were also super friendly. One of the members asked if we were doing a lesson and when we said yes she told us we would have a great time--and she was not wrong. They also offer memberships if you're interested, and the studio has a very welcoming, community-based vibe. If you've ever wanted to try pottery or are looking for a fun and unique date idea, I highly recommend it.

After checking in and putting our stuff away, David started the class by showing use how everything works and gave us a demonstration of how to make a bowl. Not gonna lie, I got lost while watching him make it. After the demonstration, we got started on working on our own bowl. David is super patient and fun. He made sure we knew what we were by guiding us through each step of the way. He was hopping between me and my friends throughout the whole time. For our second piece, we had the freedom to make whatever we wanted to and he would be there to help us through the way. We got to choose the glaze color for each of our pieces and the final product should be done 3-4 weeks after the class. Can't wait to see the final product. Bathroom: There's 2 bathroom in the studio. The bathroom was clean and had scrubbers in case you wanted to get clay of your nails. Parking: Pretty easy as the studio is located in a little plaza.

I also brought my team from work here a couple times + other neighboring teams for team events and folks loved it and enjoyed that it was a departure from the normal things my company does - everyone also walked away with nice pieces for that. After 3 years I wanted to give back and I'm about to start being an occasional instructor here for the next session, so I wanted to be transparent about that, but I'm not being compensated or nudged to write this review and I should've written it long ago. Things this studio is great for: * Community/third-space - I expected to take a class or two and then buy a wheel at home. I never expected that Clayroom would fill a hole in my life satiating a desire for community and connection I didn't know I had. Folks are really friendly here, and if you start showing up on a regular basis and occasionally say hi then you'll get to know people and build connections. * Seeing if the hobby is a good fit - do one of the 1 day try-days * Beginners - you get unlimited studio access during your classes to come in and practice, and having taken intro with multiple instructors I can safely say the instructors are really great. I can also say that experiencing classes from different instructors in different sessions can be very helpful. * Intermediate+ - the classes for things like intro 2.0, next steps, gardenware fusion, surface design, etc are all really useful for leveling-up your game. Some of them like intro 2.0 are probably worth revisiting to get more practice, since classes are jam packed with useful content. * Team events - mentioned above, but many teams from my company have done events here and loved it/walked away with great pieces. * Members - the studio does a great job of taking care of its members; when there are needs in the studio I've seen them acquire tools or otherwise empower members. There's still lots of initiative to improve systems and make life better. * Staff - the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful - they're a huge part of why I'm at Clayroom to stay :).

Yes I always wanted to try ceramics and yes, I thought I might have an affinity for it, but I never would have expected it to change so much in my life in a positive way. The instructors here are something special. They have a rare ability to meet you exactly where you are -- whether you're a complete beginner fumbling through your first attempt at centering clay or someone who's been coming for months and is ready to push their skills further. They're generous with their time, patient without being condescending, and genuinely excited about what they do. That enthusiasm is contagious. What made me decide to become a member is the community. There's a warmth here that's hard to manufacture -- people cheering each other on and lifting one another up. It's a space where you can step away from screens and noise and just make something with your hands, surrounded by people who get it. I didn't expect to find that when I signed up for a ceramics class, but I'm so glad I did.
