I'm writing this review on behalf of my 4 year old daughter, she's not yelping yet, but would say that Jumpity Bumpity is one of her favorite placs. It's a fun place to meet new friends to play with and on these cold and rainy days, a place to play and get the energy out. As a mom, it's noisy and crowded and not exactly my favorite place. However, they have these massage chairs that work at $1 per minute and that's a fun way to pass the time. read more

It's been a few years since we've been back but I have to say that this experience was much better than our first. The good: Lots of fun things for children to explore and do. Interactive technology so children can play in multiple ways by themselves or with one another. Cushy benches all along the facility for parents to relax while children play. The not so good: Only bathroom is the mall bathroom. 20 dollar minimum to get in for 2 hours. Would be nice if there was an hour option. 10 dollar charge if more than one parent or adult goes in?! That charge is ridiculous. Many children are with both parents and i'm guessing this charge is more about space than anything else. The adults SUPERVISING their children are not typically here for their own enjoyment yet they're being charged an extra fee if more than one comes? You're wrong for that. Overall, my child still finds this place fun so I suppose that's what matters most. read more

Overcrowded with rowdy older kids. Do not bring your toddler here. I took my 3-yr old daughter there and it was overwhelming. They don't limit the number of kids who can go in (or they have a very large cap on kids) and the place is NOISY and CROWDED. Some bigger kids (more like 7-9 yr olds) are rowdy and play very roughly. I did not feel comfortable having my child play with them so we limited ourselves to a small corner. Also all the electric machines require extra payments (to buy their tokens). The place is also not well kept and just feels a bit chaotic overall. If it had not been a rainy day we would have walked out immediately. read more

My daughter saw the place and wanted to play so I said that's fine . The place is so filthy and had a bad smell !! The employees are so rude , we used the vending machine to buy water and unfortunately my daughter is little to read the sign, so she put a $20 bill and no change came out so my daughter came crying to me , I spoke to the manager and she had an attitude and she said the machine has a sign why u didn't read it!!! Even though I pointed out some of the area of improvements in my old review, we still end up coming back in the last year. We did avoid visiting during weekend morning because that tended to be the busy time for parties. But it seemed like they had removed the party rooms and changed the layout at the front. And there were some new additions to the space too :) We are here more often this summer and noted that usually younger kids (toddlers, preschoolers age) came in during the weekday morning/early afternoon. Elementary school age kids tend to come in after lunch or so. My kids still enjoy coming in and play this summer :) And I often work remote with their WiFi. I don't take calls at the premise but I have no problem connecting VPN with their WiFi and able to work with my laptop! And I appreciate the staff enforcing the time limit too. That helps to manage the crowd and making sure everyone can have a turn to this space during the busy weekend! I think it's still the perfect spot for kids to play, especially when the weather is not ideal. The only thing I wish they could have (but likely limitation with the mall) is having their own restroom. read more

Been here a few times over the last year, with our latest visit earlier this week. This place has definitely gone downhill. First we were hit with surprise "summer pricing," so expect to pay +$2-3/per kid more than prior rates (not published on their website). Seemed like pretty blatant greedflation. Ok fine, we're already here so swallowed the unexpected cost. Then as we went through the facility, we found multiple sections were broken or closed (e.g. all 3 of the ball launchers are broken; at least two parts of the ball pit suction area aren't working, including a dislodged part that had sharp screws sticking out; one of six areas of the ninja course closed). All in all, place has a shoddy, run-down feel. Will stick to Peek a Boo Factory or Oceanauts in the future. read more

I recently hosted a private party here for my son's 5th birthday. The only time they do private parties is at 9am. You have the party room for 2 hours so basically 9am-11am. I honestly love this time slot. It's nice and early and you're out of there before the place gets crazy. The kids had the place to themselves for a full hour, and everything was clean because it was the beginning of the day. We got 2 pizzas and they were surprisingly decent considering it came from the mall's pizza spot. I also brought in some of my own food but there's a small surcharge. The party room was more than enough space for our party. I only had 14 kids so it was just right in my opinion with all the adults and parents around. The only thing that was a bit of a fluke was that they didn't have a lighter for the candles, and it took a while to find matches or something to light the candles with. But I will totally be back to host another party given it is a private party at 9am! read more

Do you like claustrophobia? Do you like getting shouted at by a PA system every 15 minutes? Do you like getting swept out of here before the shoes are even on your kids? This might be my least favorite indoor play place but I'll live with the fact that it's cheap and open on the weekends for open play, which has been rare in the past few years with the pandemic going on. Pros: Most of it's sized for smaller kids, probably best for preschool - early primary school. Has some smaller kid structures and mechanical carousel rides in the front of the store. In Serramonte and not far from the exit so easy to get parking and dive in. Cons: Very narrow store! The play structure takes up the majority of the space. There is seating for parents along one wall but that's pretty much it. The entrance / exit needs some serious crowd control. While they're charging folks and collecting payment, there's also throngs of people leaving periodically since they end each play period every 15 minutes (identified by color of your wristband). It was hard to locate my kids shoes along with making sure they didn't run away into the rest of the mall. Staff was really rude and pushy about kicking people out immediately after their bracelet color is called - I had barely retrieved my kids from the play structures before the staff was shouting at me to get my kids out of there. No bathrooms in the store so you'll have to take your kids into the mall bathrooms. read more

I've known that Serramonte has this play section for the kiddos, but Serramonte is crowded pretty much 24/7 so I really never wanted to go. Today, however, we decided to go to the mall right at 10am (Sunday opening time).... Which is basically the only time I'm willing to come here. Plenty of parking spots, and the mall isn't crazy packed yet. And the perk, of course, of coming earlier is that Jumpity Bumpity is quite empty. For the entire hour that we were there, it really wasn't bad at all as far as how many families were inside. We were maybe one of three families in the back for a good 20 minutes. I've heard of a lot of complaints about it being crowded here, so come at opening time. But as far as the actually playing in here... well, our toddler had fun here because of the ball pit and slide (what more can a toddler ask for). But I think the biggest complaint comes from parents: there's a somewhat musty smell, and doesn't feel like the cleanest. There's also a big section in the middle that's under construction, so obviously that just means less playing space. Even though the size of this place is fairly large, there isn't THAT much compared to other kid play areas because the slide at the back takes up so much space. We only paid for an hour (I believe it's $16/hr, $18/2 hours) and really that's all you need IMO for a toddler. For the price, amount of activities that you can do and cleanliness (again, speaking as a mom of a toddler), I'd much prefer Imagination City over in San Mateo. Muuuuch more interactive. read more

This place used to be much cleaner. But this was years ago before they completely had redone the place by adding a bunch of things. Anyway, I bring my kids here often. Recently wore my Travis Olives and wanted to hold them and set them beside me in the play area cause I'm not gonna leave those unattended in the shoe storage units. So the employee that was letting us in told me I wasn't allowed to bring my shoes in, even if they were set on my lap. Tell me why I brought my kids there today and seen the same employee wearing her shoes in the play area, walking back and forth from the camera room to the front desk, SMH. Very hypocritical and unsanitary being that there are children running around without shoes, sitting and lying on the floor. Lead by example, remove those filthy shoes in the play area, your customers would greatly appreciate the consideration. read more

I really love this place and would give it five stars except for the fact that some of the rooms have giant screens! They should at least have an option for customers to turn them off if they absolutely have to have them. Other than that, they're great! We come here often. Fun place to bring the kiddos by to burn off some energy. We had arrived right at 10 am on a Friday (their advertised opening time). Unfortunately, due to some technical issues, they were about 10-15 minutes late in opening. During that time, there was a queue of people beginning to form outside - I was surprised by how busy this place gets even during a weekday. Once opened, you have to wait in line to purchase your pass. Shoes are left outside and then it's free reign inside the play area, They have several different play areas, including a dedicated toddler area. My son ended up having a great time here, he especially loved the area where you can put the balls into the air tubes and spent most of his time playing here. One note - they don't have an onsite bathroom present. The closest one is around the corner in the mall. So plan on going there either before or after your play time. read more

My son loves the slide the most and he's 2. My wife and I love everything about jumpity, the prices are fair for the amount of traffic. There are seating areas, and a place for strollers. A lot of parents are on their phone so it's really a place to drop off your kid to drain them. Worth it especially if it's raining at outdoor parks as there's a lot of activities for your kid, even I had fun! read more

It's a big place but not that clean to be honest. Employee had had mask off the whole time I was there (1 hour). People pretending to eat/drink as a possible way to avoid masks? (See pic) I feel there are better places but I guess this convenient if you're shopping at Serramonte. They have a 3 years and older mask policy but for sure there were kids without masks that were older than 3. No enforcement. I know kids are not as compliant but we are 1.5 years into a pandemic, most kids have learned to keep a mask on. This is just parenting issues and poor management on this facilities part. Safety should be improved here! My review is to alert hopefully management and other parents reading for general safety guidelines when coming here. Frankly, after today I don't think we will be back. Workers are standing around but Not advising safety of others, they should be regulating kids especially OLDER kids from running at fast speeds throughout. We were even near the toddler and younger baby section and an older kid was running and rammed into my daughter resulting her to be injured with a mouthful of blood. I understand that playground injuries happen, and parents should be monitoring their children but it would be helpful if employees promoted safety so injuries don't take place, especially those involving blood and then resulting in sanitation issues. Not worth the crowd, risk and hazards in my opinion. read more

Prior to COVID, this jumpity bumpity location was our go to every Thursday evening once I got home from work. During COVID times, I hella don't recommend bringing your children here when there are other people here. There are children (way older than 2) not wearing masks, parents are either not wearing a mask or not wearing it properly (literally on their chin-- not covering their nose of mouth), they aren't regulating how many people are actually here (it's packed right now), and there are teenagers playing on the structures. It's $14 per child per hour. My son is 1 and not even playing with anything-- just walking pack and forth, and yes, he was charged $14 as well. It's sad that this is one of the only indoor playgrounds open right now, but we won't be back for awhile because I don't feel it's safe for my children. read more

My kids comes to this location and love it. Until we met with the owner Eva. We are heading out and grab our shoes but my little girl wants popsicle. Staff is super nice and patiently waiting for my little girl so she can pick her choice but they don't have the ones she likes. Being a 4 years old she doesn't know what are the flavors available and the staff let us in quick so she can pick and Eva immediately gave us the face and kicking us out because we have shoes on and making scene and embarrassing us infront of everyone. We will be happy to step out and apologize if she talk nicely about the rules. We always follow rules but making a scene for everyone to see is just unprofessional. I noticed her right when we come in and she is giving a kid ‍this. And 2-3 year old kid will not understand. Hoping if you are working with kids you have atleast the patience and talk nicely and not treat people like we are all kids behaving badly. Staff are always nice. Just not the owner. She seems stressed being in there. Update- nope you did not ask repeatedly. I even try to explain with you why are we there but you don't listen. You told me the rules at the end after you want us leave and you even said we are not welcome to your place because you are the owner. and I said we are just waiting for the change. You should not make a scene. Everything will be smooth if you speak properly. And you said your name is Eva. Looking at the recent reviews. I cannot recommend this place. exceptionally poor customer service I experienced. The behavior of the staff was completely unacceptable ,leaving me feeling frustrated and undervalued as a costumer. I have been coming to this place for the past few years; we even hosted our little one's birthday here. In general, this space keeps children busy with a lot of activities to do. My little one loves playing here. However, I believe the management changed, and they hired new people recently. The space has changed drastically. Here are some of the cons: The place is always over crowded and dirty. The new staff barely cleans ( in the past this place used to be shiny). They are also extremely rude and just on their phones the whole time. They changed where you can put your shoes and removed all chairs. As someone with a recent back surgery, I couldn't find a place to sit and the staff wouldn't help. They just said remove your shoes with no regard to my communicated temporary disability ( while they were wearing shoes inside). They closed the bathrooms on site. You have to go the mall and look for one. The space was so hot, it smelled like sweat and was uncomfortable to breathe (no AC). They increased the price to 16 dollars and it's not worth it. While we used to like this place, we will definitely stop coming until they show some commitment and care for their customers. read more

When we first arrived today it wasn't too crowded and expected some sort of cleaning because of the pandemic but that never happened. An hour into our visit, there was an influx of kids and adults. There were 3 adults playing and running in the structures and none of the staff said anything or even made rounds. 2 adults sat at the log for 20 mins. so no kids could play. Kids were also running around with no masks. The staff here clearly don't care. Im writing this in hopes that the owner is aware of what is going on lately. This is a nice place for young kids to have fun. However some parents don't keep an eye on their children and neither does the young staff that they hire to work here. On several occasions we've seen kids running and knocking down smaller children and the staff just sits at the front and is oblivious to what's going on until one of the parents complains that the child or children do not appear to be supervised. The other day a little boy threw up all over the floor and the parents were all complaining that the mother was sitting outside in the mall on her cellphone while her toddler (approx 3 yrs old) was unsupervised. Even when people pay for child watch these young staff members don't pay attention. read more

This place is fine for what it is. it needs some maintenance. the employees Could care less, but that would actually require more effort.this is what got me: they didn't allow my disabled mother in because she has to wear shoes. have you heard of shoe covers? so if you're disabled, you're not welcome here. if I hadn't been here, there would be no adult to supervise, per their policy. also no bathroom for customers?? come on. The music is so loud, you can't hear if your kid is calling for help. My kids love this place! Yes it's loud, yes it can get crowded but what playground full of children isn't? There's much to do and I appreciate that they change the setup from time to time. We've been coming here for years,but our recent experience was disappointing! We came on 9/3/23 around noon,my son was playing,he ran and accidentally bumped with other kid who was playing with slide,it was a hard impact that my son had a bruise on his right cheek bone,my son cried so loud because obviously he was hurting,the other kid's mom came to me and feels so sorry about what happened, and I told her that It was accident. We we're so frustrated to the staffs!First,No one came to check what happened to my son considering that incident happened inside the playground. Second,when I told the staff(female asian,wearing a white ribbon ponytail,forgot to get her name as i was anxious about what just happened)that my son just got an accident, and needs a ice pack for cold compress,she was not emphatic at all!she just said that they don't have ice,and I told her that their ice pops/Popsicles is enough,just to ease the pain of the affected area and to reduce the swelling and inflammation.that's the time she gave it to me with no empathy!she doesn't even ask if my son is okay or what. We also noticed that the new staffs lacks customer service, they just focus on collecting payments and don't care afterwards, they often stay at the reception area Chit chatting with other staffs(you can probably check that on your cctv's)don't clean the play area often,not like the old staffs.we also noticed their slide was wet as well,not sure if it's pee or water. To the management, I hope my review will help you improve your services,please be equipped with first aid kit & ice packs in case this happen to other kids especially your dealing with them all the time,if you can as well add toilet for kids so that they will not hold their pee because it's health risk for UTI and other Kidney problems. Realistically this place is a 3.5 stars but I can't do half stars so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and did a 4. This place can get extremely crowded but I like how they put a hold on how many kids can get in. I wish the occupancy can be a little bit less, but it is a establishment to make money. This place seems a bit dirty imo and there's one cleaning lady just vacuums. Would be nice to have someone wipe down the machines or some areas once in awhile. I was pushing my niece on this log swing type thing and it felt slippery like some kid had his snot on. I think I only saw one guy that walked around to watch kids play safely. There's just some areas that are out of site because us adults usually don't go up to the upper level. I rounded it to a 4 because although I paid for the 2 hours my niece loved it and wanted to stay longer. And the price is super affordable. read more
