Moseying around Piilani Village SC brought me to this ABC Store. I had high hopes that I'd find their delish deli and grill inside, but I did not. They didn't sell not a single pre-packed or prepared food item at all. It's strictly dry shelf snacks, beverages, alcohol and touristy souvenirs. Service kept in tune with other ABC locations with a greeting as I entered. Parking is free and plentiful. OVERALL: Kind of an odd location being that Safeway is just a few doors down with way more selection. read more

ABC Stores are convenient. Sometimes convenience is more expensive. And that's okay. But I found some bargains, like a tee shirt that was much more appropriate than the stuff I'd packed for my trip. I've been here about 3 times and it's amazing! The store is clean and tidy and the stuff they sell is cute. The cashier was awesome!!! She was super kind and helpful and was always quick to help us out. The parking lot is huge, store is clean, and they sell amazing macadamia chocolate. read more

COVID-19: Social distancing is not enforced at this establishment. All of the staff wears a mask. All customers are not expected to wear a mask. It's optional now. Some of the staff also wears gloves. There are some hand sanitizers available for customers to use. This place is open and available with no limited capacity. They are not sanitizing in between customers. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was grabbing some stuff from this establishment several days ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. I love the ABC Stores! They are all over the island. This is my go-to place for Maui souvenirs. They have Hello Kitty and other super cute reusable bags which I have purchased for friends in the Mainland. When we were here in November 2021, there were deals of t-shirts in the front of the store. Scored a bunch for fam. Got a variety of things from a little surfboard bookmark, flower necklaces, shell necklaces, postcards, and other souvenirs. Because I had spent $100+, I got to choose a free Maui mug. The bottled water here was at an even better price than the grocery store we went to. The folks in the store are hardworking and kind. My stuff was also bagged in a reusable ABC store bag which I have already used a couple of times. Mahalo! read more

If you're in Hawaii, no matter what the island is, the ABC store is your go-to for snacks, foods and souvenirs. I spent $500 there on my first night in Maui. RIP my bank account, but it's so worth it, you can get gifts for everyone while you're there and the holidays are the perfect time to get those xmas ornaments and decor. read more

Yes there are A LOT of ABC Stores on the Island. They are all very useful to grab drinks snacks and all sorts of misc items. The Safeway location is always clean and everyone is very helpful. I'm a fan of the dresses and hair clips. They have all you need and then some nice to know there are many locations. read more

Located in the Safeway shopping center. It has s lot of tourist items like t shirts, chocolate macadamia nuts, coffee, souvenirs, etc. Unfortunately, most things are overpriced. Like the gold bag 100% kona coffee 7oz is $5 more than Walmart. Not a place that I would go and buy things normally. Although, my wife did find a car sticker that she couldn't find elsewhere. read more

You can find about anything on the Island here. We bought our breakfast most mornings here. A muffin and banana. Also bought our beer and put in the fridge. Saved a lot of money by shopping here. Save your receipts for a free gift also. We got cups in Maui. It'll be fun to see that we get here. read more

We've had good service at every ABC store we've been at so far. But Jovy went above and beyond just a few moments ago!! We couldn't figure out which DiCAPac waterproof case to get for our phone. An all around convenience store. Has everything you need from bottled water, to towels, to t-shirts, to tchotchke, to food yada yada. They also have a great reward program for Hawai'i. Spend $100 get a free bag--a nice shopping bag. And when everywhere charges you 15 cents for whatever you buy the bag is great. It's easy to spend the $100 because they have just about everything you need. And then you have a nice sized bag (like a shopping bag for a grocery store). ABC Stores are everywhere. Especially in Waikiki. Can't go half a block or so without running into one. If ABC doesn't have it there are other larger stores but start at ABC. read more

Great place to stop for snacks, water, souvenirs, etc. Once you spend $100 at their locations you get a free gift. Super friendly too. They had a special, only $1 for 1.5 liter water. A smaller version of that same brand of water cost over $3 at the Starbucks right next door. read more

Best shop for all your tacky tourist needs!! My duffel looks scary. I may have to wear a bunch of the items I purchased to make sure everything fits. So I might look scary at the airport. Great selection! I found nearly everything on my list (yep, I pre-planned my visit and list online). I returned a second time to grab a few more items, do an exchange and a return. Hassle-free. Also, the price point on many of the items, let's say specifically the tiki statues, are a waaaaay better deal here than in the markets. ABC has them for $7.50 whereas the markets sell for $14. A lot of shops, a lot of vendors....shop around and price check before buying anywhere. Or head to ABC first!! read more

Not all ABC Stores are created equal. This one is good. It's big and well-stocked ,and easy to park here as well. I found affordable little souvenirs for everyone here. They also carry stuff you're gonna need in Maui, like sunblock, beach towels, and booze, I mean beach toys. BTW - it's not located inside a gas station, it's in the same plaza as Safeway. read more

This is our favorite ABC store on Maui. It is located right across from the beach. A great place to pick up suntan lotion, beach toys, etc. They also have all the souvenirs that you could want all in one place for great prices. They have a gas station here as well.
