Dropped one of my patients off at the wrong location and then when I called & let them know the lady who answered the phone was incredibly rude and snappy she said they were coming right back. 15 minutes later when I called again to check on the ride she yelled and said "THEY ARE ON THE WAY I TOLD YOU THAT" and hung up on me. terrible customer service when it was their mistake in the first place. read more

Called to reserve a cab to the airport a few days ago for an early flight today (pick up time at 3:30am). The lady I spoke to on the phone spoke very clearly and was friendly. The cab showed up about 5 minutes early and I received a call from the company stating so. The driver was efficient and the cab was clean. Very disappointed with my attempts to get a cab with this company. First attempt was on a Friday afternoon at 1 PM. Called them and got a "your call has been forwarded message". Phone rang for 9 rings with no answer, so I hung up. Next attempt was a Wednesday at Noon. Same forwarding message but I actually got a live person. Requested a cab. Was told the wait time would be 40 mins to maybe an hour. I confirmed that I would meet the cab at the curb because I live in a gated community. Dispatcher said he would call when cab was on the way. By 1:15, no call had come, so I called them back. This time all I got was music on the phone. Waited on that for another 5 mins, hung up and got a ride from a friend. They called me back at 2 PM leaving me a voicemail saying the cab was at my gate! Terrible service. read more

ABC to the rescue! I'll be honest if I need a ride I call Uber. Unfortunately we broke down last night and there were no Uber's available not was I sure if they would take a dog. AAA driver called ABC for us. They were super professional, empathetic and were professional. The driver liked our dog too. It was a no brainer that when we needed a ride back to the repair shop we called them again. Same experience... quick, professional and dog friendly! read more

Awesome service!! The sweet young Dispatcher said they would be here in 30 minutes and got here just on time! Drivers were polite and they have the funniest conversations with dis patch on the radio. Very entertaining!! Well deserved 5 stars and deserves a big tip! read more

After giving blatant attitude after I had asked him to repeat a question, I opted to go with someone else. Absolutely the worst cab company in Redding. I called and made a reservation to the airport for the following morning. My confirmed pickup time was for 3:15am. I got the feeling I should call and check at 3:20am and they had no record of me and said they would dispatch out a cab immediately. 45 minutes later I was on the phone with Yellow Cab who promptly saved the day and got me to the airport just in time for my flight. read more

I am not one to be picky. But I was taken to the hospital by ambulance and had to be observed in the er. After getting released from the hospital at about 2am. I called ABC after receiving professional service from them before. They told me it would be about 30 minutes. After an hour and a half waiting. I called them back, I was then told another 30 minutes due to a driver receiving a pickup in Red Bluff. This shows that they do not honor the que, after being told this I told them to go kick rocks, this was not due to the wait time, but due to the lack of communication. I bit the bullet and called yellow cab, the driver was late but they kept me updated. I will never use ABC cab, they clearly care less about their customers than they imply. read more

ABC was an absolute lifesaver to us on Thanksgiving day. We were on our way to family across states and the car broke down. We tried anything and everything but being a holiday, no one would help if they even answered. Others were price gouging like crazy. We were stuck on the side of the freeway for hours. Finally, I called ABC and they were short handed, but the dispatcher listened to our plight, cared and found a driver who could get to us in a jiffy. Was told when I called at 3:30am that there was no reservation and I should call a different cab company. Total fail!!!! Absolute worst in redding. Consistantly late and misquoted wait times. Everytime I've called they are at least 10-15 minutes late. I called an hour ahead and was told 25-30 minutes, it took over an hour for them to get here. I gave them a couple chances, but not ever again. Being a former cab driver in Redding, I know wait times can be unavoidle or change, but never have I had a cab company be late 100% of the time. read more

I do NOT recommend using this cab service if you need to be picked up at a specific time. I reserved a cab for 6 at 5:15. It didn't show. I called and was assured he was "right down the street." 30 minutes later he showed up-- in a car that only holds 4. Not only that-- he tried to lie to us about why he was late. Not cool. So, what I essentially have to say is that these people may be hit or miss. I got one good ride from them, a little late. Then when I was out at night, at 1AM, OUT IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE AND IN THE RAIN, they let me wait for an hour for a cab. I'm sure it'd have been longer if I'd waited. I walked home drunk instead. Be sure to have a backup plan. If you rely on these people you might just be sorry like I was. and if I sound whiny, it's because I have anxiety troubles and it completely ruined my night. read more

One time it took then over an hour just to send a cab and I had to call twice, and another time they took so long to send a cab I got impatient and just walked and the time I walked to my destination was shorter than the time I had to wait for the cab which is pretty ironic. read more

Dispatchers are kind, drivers are warm and friendly, it was perfect. I landed at the airport late and couldn't get a rental car. I used ABC a total of three times in less than 24 hours. They were on time, every time, and even emailed me my receipt when I forgot to get it. Made the trip easy. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. I work at the hospital and called to get a ride for patient. They told me 30-40 min. I asked if they would call me when they are on their way and they said they would. It was 20minutes later they called and said they were here. I took my patient down stairs immediately and ABC cab was not there. I called the office thinking they went to the wrong hospital. Nope. They told me the driver had arrived and marked us down as a no show and left. I told her that was ridiculous, we were at the front door within 2 minutes of their courtesy call. Their driver couldn't wait 2 minutes for us? Plus they told us 30-40min and only 20minutes had passed. They said the best they could do was send another driver who arrived in 15 minutes. He was rude, made no eye contact and simply said how you gonna pay for the ride. Our hospital will not be using abc cab ever again and I have contacted our HR Dept and ER Dept to make sure of it. read more
