While many RV resorts lack online booking and a system to receive guests past their office hours, Premier makes this easy. We booked same-day by phone, and received a confirmation email with instructions for after-hours self-checkin. Upon arrival, we picked up a personalized envelope containing a park map and rules, amenities key card, and directions to the assigned spot for our 40' RV. Lovely grounds with paved roads, concrete parking pads, and a landscaped picnic area for each site. If clean and spacious bathrooms matter to you, you'll love the ones here! We didn't stay to use the other resort amenities, though the pool area, social house and shaded path benches looked inviting. We stayed here for 6 nights. The park is very clean, the bathrooms and facilities are also very clean and inviting. We have 2 labs and not one time were we bothered by the staff. The 3 gals we came in contact with in the office were super nice. 2 nice large off leash parks we didn't use but the grounds have plenty of green grass areas and doggy pots. Now if you are gonna call yourselves Premier and Resort you definitely need to upgrade your cable and Wi-Fi. Though we did get many channels with our antenna. We also had good Verizon cell service so I didn't use the Wi-Fi. We will stay here again during a time when it's not 110 degrees. read more

We actually ended up here in August because we had booked a RV site up at Shasta Lake Rv Resort & Campground...we had already left a deposit at that campground but when we got there it looked so sketchy & scary!! We ended up saying screw our $100 deposit and we turned around and left!! So we drove from campground to campground and they were all pretty scary or full!! Shasta isn't what it used to be!!! That being said...we decided to yelp campgrounds closer to Redding...we figured that the drive to and from Shasta Lake wouldn't be that bad from Redding. So we found this place...OMG!!! We are so happy we did!!! Premier Rv Resort is so clean & peaceful!!! (Only downfall is no campfires)...and there is a waterpark right next door (even though we didnt go to it...it looked pretty cool)...Dayna the manager and her daughter were so wonderful!! They actually told us about Whiskeytown Lake...which we had no idea was even there...such a beautiful lake...we were there everyday!!! On the way to the lake there is the remains of the mining town of Shasta...small little town but it was interesting to stop and look at the historical ruins! There are also quite a few really nice brewery restaurants...I like craft beer (hubby drinks bud light water...so i get to pick the spots...lol)...all within a 10-15 minute drive from the resort! Good beer...samplers available...good food...good service!!! I really thank our lucky stars that we found Premier RV Resort!! We will be back there...already planning it!! We also feel very fortunate to have met Dayna and her daughter!! With all the info on the area we received from her it really made our vacation one to remember as one of our best RVing trips!! I would give this place 10 stars if I could!!! It totally saved our vacation from being ruined!!! And if you're in Redding you have to see the sundial bridge...its pretty cool...and the bike path that will take you all the way to the Shasta Lake dam is awesome too if you like to bike!! PROS: -site info waiting for us (we arrived late) -central bathroom to our site -IMMACULATE and clean-smelling bathrooms! Individual stalls, tiled walls and floors, with exterior fan and locking doors. (5-starsx100) -morning paper delivered to your site -employees clean early in the AM -trash cans for your use near or at your site -QUIET!!! CONS: ***parking not well marked (property manager got all huffy at us because we parked in his space which was NOT marked as "reserved" nor did it have a "NO PARKING" sign. This didn't go well with hubby as we arrived after the office closed so the papers/map they left us didn't explain it and he was trying to get the tent up before the sun went down.) -bathrooms close 10am-12pm for cleaning makes it difficult for 11am check out if you sleep until the last minute A clean and quiet park overall. This is a beautiful and clean RV resort. We were looking for a spot for one day after coming from Burney Falls and this is the only place available in Redding during the Memorial Day weekend. We arrived at the place, you can already tell that it is a clean place. The manager is nice. She has done a great job fixing and being a handy person of keeping the place working and clean. Not much of a "resort". I only stay overnight. Level. Hook ups. Everything else is pictures.

Made a reservation 4 months in advance and they charged my credit card for the full amount at that time. When I checked in at that time, they said I was being changed to a more expensive site because they were full. My options were to either take the changed site or not. Not really having a choice, I had to pay for the more expensive site that was an unshaded site. Seems absurd to have to pay in full in advance for a reservation (in my case - 4 months in advance), and then they first let me know they have unilaterally changed me to a more expensive site when I check in. read more

This place is well appointed and clean all paved sites. Missing is no cable TV available and snail pace wireless with restrictions for only email. In the new pull through premier sites, long term guests are workers that idle their diesel truck for 15-30 minutes every morning from 5:15-7:30am even though guest rules request not to do this. One next to our bedroom did this at 1:15am. If you want sleep do not stay at the premier sites. read more

Stayed here three nights May 2022. Clean, easy to get to, well maintained. Would stay here again. There is traffic noise during the day, distant train at times, but it quiets by 8:00 p.m. Our space was 118, and I would also recommend 117, the spaces in the center, although close, are staggered enough to provide comfort. There is "toad" parking next to your space. The spaces on the other side of the park are smaller and with many beautiful trees. Much more kid friendly, but not for me, and very tight for a larger vehicle. Didn't use any of the amenities as we have what is needed in our rig. If you love a good burger, go to Bartels Giant Burger . Their chocolate shake is wonderful too. read more

We traveled through California, Oregon, Nevada and Arizona, and this park has the nicest bathrooms and showers of any of the 12 campgrounds we visited. Lots of trees, and very nice. Be aware that the trees are big, so if you're trying to get satellite, you need to specify that to management as the large trees block satellite access in most sites. The wifi sucks, but what else is new. We will definitely stay here again. read more

We came to Redding to serve at a Thanksgiving outreach meal and decided to stay here for a week. We are so glad we did! Way Way to many rules for a RV Park, felt like they were monitoring every move we made. We have tried to get into this park several times this year and we're always told they were booked. Even told by them this time that they were packed for the weekend if we wanted to stay an extra day or two we had to know at the time we checked in... sometimes you like a place and want to stay a day or so extra, no flexibility here. Well, while we were here there were several open spaces. It's sad due to the fact that this is a good location in the area of Redding. Checked in after hours and found that our site's sewer cap is missing and it was covered maybe half using a rock. Since it was hot day in summer, our site and neighboring site were stinking. Called their after hours number and no one seemed to bother to answer the phone or voicemail. read more

We stayed here this past weekend. Check in was uneventful and the grounds looked nice and well kept. Our space was small and the sites were close to each other but since the park wasn't nearly full, we had no objections. My husband had parked the truck such that it apparently upset who we thought was the groundskeeper. He aggressively approached with finger wagging in my husband's face yelling and telling him he'd have to move. So we did. On the second evening we momentarily parked the truck in the same place while we were unloading and getting out wet clothes after visiting Whiskeytown Lake. We had ordered pizza for delivery and right at the time the pizza man knocked on our door, the same groundskeeper came running over, totally interrupted while we were paying for the pizza, and again yelling, threatened to charge us double for our space because he didn't like where we were parked. This person had a long, grey ponytail and has no business working with the general public. A very scary situation for us seniors. I would gladly had given 5 stars except for our interaction with this person. read more

All geared up to stay here for 8 days after a 4 days drive and arrived 15 til close after already calling and receiving a return call to ensure they had space. The young lady that worked there was rude in person directly to me and my smiling face and waving hands, she was also so nasty on the phone that my husband became overwhelmed "by two woman with attitude" ( me being the other because I needed to know if she was placing us on the water where my small children could drowned. He hung up, at 10 til 5pm, so we had to sleep on the side of the road across the street. The next day we went and stayed at another RV resort for 8 days, within 15 minutes of of this resort. So that little lady and her bad attitude and nasty looks lost the resort almost 500 bucks- plus I'd be stunned if we are the only peoples she's convinced to leave w her bad attitude. The resort itself is beautiful, quaint, quiet, and in a nice location. For management. This was Saturday the 30hth at 445, she was maybe 20 yrs old. Staff matters to us, and we had to assume she's a reflection of how you all operate. And that's not fun or relaxing to have people being mean. :( read more

Beware!! We made reservations with family utilizing three spots along side each other 6 months prior and we were all spread apart. When you check in be prepared to be greeted by an unfriendly staff. Also don't come if you have a dog!!!! They are not dog friendly and will go site to site making sure you are holding on to your leash. Their website doesn't state that they charge you per person and per vehicle. They don't tell you on the phone either when you make the reservation. It's just a surprise when you get the email with all the extra charges on the bill. Further, I had to cancel my reservation because a member of my party tested positive for Covid and I emailed them the moment we found out (which was 64 hours ahead of time) and they would not refund my deposit because they require 72 hours. We recently stayed here for one night. First the good. Great location right of I-5 and near highway 44. Very clean with nice sites. Nice staff. Now the bad. No Wifi at all. Very expensive for a one night stay, $60.00. They need to drop the prices an upgrade the WiFi. read more

We enjoyed our stay at Premier RV resorts in Redding California. They were very accommodating when scheduling our stay. I love their little wine gift shop and the fact that the owners were from Oregon and are wine lovers too. The resort was very clean and quiet and peaceful during our stay at site 36. We love that it was close to the restroom and equally as close to the dog park for us. We love that they had night security driving around it made us even more feel safe. I would of given five star but the bathrooms near us had 3 stalls but one out of order, one had a light out so really there is only one bathroom to use. The hand towels and soap head ran out during the weekend and was not refilled. I was busy with my stay so I was unable to mention it so that's partially my fault. We did not use them in these as far as the weight room or pool, I did see them and they do look nice. The laundry room we did use and it was nice to have. read more

Stopped in to this campground for an overnight. Pros: nice level sites, clean, quiet, site was long enough to park our 40ft rv and car with no problem, friendly staff. Con: this appears to be an older park, the road to the site is very narrow. So narrow we had to back out in the morning as we have a newer rig and there was no way to make the turn out of the site. Fortunately no one was in the spaces behind so we had room to maneuver out, the turn at the end of the row was quite a challenge as well. If you have a newer larger class A rig I would look elsewhere. read more

Under NO circumstance would I stay at this park again. First, There is NO security and multiple people's vehicles got broke into, ours included. The victims lost thousands of dollars worth of electronics and things from their vehicles. They say they "thought" the suspect was from the rough apartment complexes across the street. hmmm... Second, the "worker" help around the park are extremely disrespectful and ugly to campers. They have no respect for campers' things. The owner Jim refused to do anything about it. We liked it. We stayed just one night so we only needed electricity. We were in space #83 which had a big lawn, nice trees and near the showers and laundry. This is a large RV park a fews blocks off the hwy so it is a very quiet spot which we appreciated. They have limited monthly spaces which we overheard has a ling waitlist. But for nightly they post open spaces for late comers. They have some huge premium pull through spots for the bug RVs. Staff were friendly and responsive. read more

My wife and I stayed here overnight while rolling up after 8pm, to say the least, we were exhausted. We drove the 299 from Eureka and it was a bear of a drive with a 37 foot RV towing a Jeep. When we got there, the office was closed but when I looked in the night box, there it was... An envelope with my name on it. Inside was a map showing us where to park our RV. After we settled in, we walked the RV park for exercise after dark and found the property to be very clean and organized. Lots of nice RV's there for sure. We will be back! read more

4 types of RV Sites from Standard (no water or electric) to Super, which is what we stayed in. These are the largest spaces @ the resort, which are also pull through. Parking pads are super clean, cement, surrounded by well manicured grassy patches w/ affixed small acrylic picnic tables. Not much of a view, but could be worse. Simple grassy hill directly in front of spaces. Each space is approx 15' from each other. Staff: was super friendly & accommodating. Community pool: located adjacent to the front office, open until dusk, from afar looks small, but clean. Didn't use it, so I am unable to provide additional details. Pets: 1 large fenced-in pet run in the middle of the resort for our pooper & a small dog park near the entrance. Pet owners are provided a small additional welcome packet, which includes a treat for the boogers, small insert on pet rules & a poopie bag. Nice touch & appreciated. BBQ Pits: not provided at the individual sites, but you may use you own or the nice one provided at the clubhouse Restrooms/Showers & Laundry facilities: open 24hrs. Check-out: at the standard 11am Other Amenities: our stay also included Wi-Fi & Cable TV, but I think the amenities differ based on the type of site you purchase. Unfortunately, only 7 of the 17 channels was watchable. Not one channels was w/out some static, a rotating horizontal line or blurt picture. We haven't purchased out own satellite dish yet because we really would prefer the type that you can use while driving, which is over $1,000. Shops, grocery stores & restaurants: were all within close driving proximity. read more

We had an excellent experience here in a premium site (104). Site was very clean and perfectly level. Cement pad, grass and paved patio with newer plastic picnic table. After over two weeks in the road, I needed a real shower! The bathrooms were pristine with plenty of shelf space and hooks. There were lots of amenities that we didnt use on our overnight stay, but given more time, it would be perfect. Staff was friendly and helpful at check in. Would have given 4 stars but it was one of the most expensive parks we stayed at at $60 for full hookup. Paved, level sites; both back-in and pull-through sites with landscaping between sites. Checked in after the office closed at 5 PM; we called to let them know that, and they gave us instructions and site #; it was a pretty smooth process.
