I love Abbott's! I've been coming to Abbott's since I was little. I've never been to this location before, but the is definitely my new favorite! They had a huuuuuge menu of flavors I've never seen at other ones and the line was super quick. Strawberry is my favorite flavor and I've never seen it before at other locations so obviously I had to get it here and it did not disappoint! 11/10 recommend and will be coming back here!

If you want custard you have to go to Abbott's. Not only to they make the traditional vanilla and chocolate custard , but they also have many other flavors such as banana and mudslide. They also have a wide variety of low fat frozen yogurt. Try the Irish creme! They will let you sample different ones too. This location is on the corner, so its easy to access, with lots of parking...but like all locations during peak hours ans beautiful nights be prepared to wait in line.

I stopped here on a hot day for some ice cream. The line moved pretty quickly. They had vanilla peanut butter cup, which I decided to try. I guess it's because it's custard, but it was literally vanilla custard with some Reese's peanut butter cups thrown in. It seemed more like a sundae with peanut butter cup topping than an ice cream flavor to me, and just wasn't what I expected. It was fine, but a small dish of ice cream for $4.25 seems pricey to me. I think there are better places to go where you can get a sundae for about a dollar more, so I don't think I'll be back.

Cute little place for the summertime. They have custard, which is not soft serve out if the machine like i thought so kind of disappointed but it was still good and they have a good amount of flavors. Great sundae selection and a bunch of other ice cream options like ice cream sandwiches and flurries. Great quick drop by place!

Amazing! I go here like every other day when I'm in town! The custard is to die for. My favorite is vanilla custard dipped in rainbow sprinkles. I've been eating this at Abbott's since I was a little girl. If you are from Rochester you don't need to read reviews. You probably already love this place. If you are new to Rochester go check it out during the warm seasons. They close up shop during winter months. Get one of their famous turtles which is basically frozen custard on a stick with caramel nuts and chocolate. Their ice cream Sundays are also great. It's one of the places you just have to try because I can guarantee you could find no better custard anywhere in the United States!

My strawberry shake was the best I ever had. It was super thick, and was packed with fresh strawberries pieces. I ordered a small and it was still too much for me. My BF ended up finishing it. He loved it as much as I did. He said that is what he is going to get next time. He did not like his banana and strawberry shake as much as he likes my order. I tasted it. It was good. It just wasn't fabulous like mine. He ordered a large and it tasted like just Banana, and was not as thick as mine, and no fruit pieces. The cost for both was around 20.00. A little pricey for us on a regular basis, but nice for a special treat. I love the place itself, and tried their seasonal hot apple in a pastry puff, with cold Vanilla ice cream. That was amazing as well. They have a drive through, and walk up window. Most people seem to prefer the walk up window. They have picnic tables, to eat at. Plenty of space. A great place for a date night, special occasion, or night out with the kids. They have homemade Ice cream and shakes, seasonal items, and ice creams they don't make too. It's nice to drive by and seeing flocks of people of all ages, enjoying this place. While it might be the priciest ice cream place in town, they are definitely the best, cleanest, and friendliest. My pictures are a bit lame, because we went through the drive through. But I will get pics of their ice cream next time. But I highly recommend them. OMG! I haven't even finished my review and we've already been back. Ordered the exact same shakes. We both ordered them extra thick. And Voila!!! His was just as tasty and filled as fruit as mine. So That's the ticket right there folks!! Order them EXTRA THICK!!! Your welcome

We got a waffle cone with strawberry, vanilla, and Southern banana pudding--a dreamy combo of fruity, creamy goodness. The banana pudding flavor? Total standout. Tastes like summer in a scoop. We also had a waffle bowl with mint chocolate chip and New York cheesecake. Minty, chocolatey, cheesecake-y perfection. Every bite was rich, fresh, and super satisfying. Huge shoutout to the staff--our server was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful while we were making our (tough!) flavor decisions. You could tell they really enjoy what they do, and it made the experience even sweeter. Will definitely be coming back.

Ordered a 3 pint tub of ice cream for my birthday last week of June and had 6 toppings to choose…read morefrom and had several issues with this $30+ order. A couple toppings missing, missing (2) chocolate dipped waffle bowls, and ice cream was basically melted and did not seem to have 3 apple pie toppings. Everything was minimal compared to other times. Called and spoke with a girl named Danni who sounded confused as to what they could or should do to remedy this. Said they would have to ask their manager Alan or Allen what to do and have him call me back. That didn't happen so I called back before closing and once again was told sorry he cant come to the phone now he will have to call you back. Never happened. When you pay over $30 for ice cream you expect it to be awesome and it wasn't. I even tipped 15% on a pick yo order , but that didn't matter. Its always the same story there. Barely legal teenage girls with ZERO CLUE in how to make a batch of custom ice cream (this IS what they are known for after all right? Since ai had no call back to remedy this I filed a grievance with my credit card conpany and after a week or so was denied any resolution by the merchant. Seems like Alan at Cold Stone really doesn't care whether you're a loyal customer or if you tipped or whatever. Silence is deafening. Lost a customer. Guess Ill just go to Bruster's REAL Ice Cream instead. I suggest others do the same. They actually appreciate their customers and love what they do and they do it well. Its too bad word of mouth IS A THING because ai will not ever recommend Cold Stone ever again. The saddest part is they made my birthday experience suck. I dont do much for birthday outings these days however they dont seem to care and the manager Alan could care less. Im not going to call a third time when I know Im beating a dead horse. Ill just let others know to avoid this place as it's expensive and they have clueless children working there. You would think they would be trained on how to add and mix toppings into the ice cream in the cold stone but they dont know. My good experiences there were when an adult stepped in and made the mic herself. The kids don't know how to do anything. Scared to scoop properly, scared to load toppings, don't know how to issue credits, cant get their manager to rectify anything . One day when they order their birthday ice cream and its sucks they will get mad but they wont recall the times they were serving SLOP themselves.
