He told us about 2 stoves he had in their warehouse which would match our newer stainless and black appliances. We decided to measure our old one first and come back. We came back the next week and went to look at what they had in their nearby warehouse. We selected one of them. We went back to the main office, they prepared the paperwork and we paid. The cost was quite reasonable. On the day they were to deliver our stove -- in the morning -- it became a mess of problems. They couldn't come when we needed them to be there, etc etc. They finally showed up in the afternoon. Removed our old stove and delivers a new one. As they were leaving, I realized it was not the brand stove I'd selected. After much calling -- on my part -- crying and begging, they finally delivered the correct stove the next day late morning. The stove itself is fine. Works perfectly and looks great in our kitchen. If the delivery experience had been better, they would have received four stars...

They asked for and was given the brand and model number of our refrigerator before they came out. They said they service our brand/model and said the visit would cost $149, to be applied to any repair. When the technician diagnosed the unit, he agreed it was the compressor. He gave us an estimate and collected his $149. We thought Appliance King was going to do the repair. But less than 5 minutes after they left, they called and said they do not service our brand/model. So, basically, they stole $149 and our time in bad faith.
