Our latest project involves replacing the fascia boards on the front of the house. Much of the wood we looked at had cracks in it. We carefully examined every piece in the store, yet we still have to go back and replace one of the boards because we noticed another crack once we saw it in the sunlight. You have to be careful when buying wood here since every piece varies in quality. They do cut it to size for you, which is helpful. I also appreciate the self-checkout because the lines are never long. What makes this Home Depot different from every other one? It is close to I-95, and the Sabrett hot dog and sausage cart out front is always a welcome treat.

He told us about 2 stoves he had in their warehouse which would match our newer stainless and black appliances. We decided to measure our old one first and come back. We came back the next week and went to look at what they had in their nearby warehouse. We selected one of them. We went back to the main office, they prepared the paperwork and we paid. The cost was quite reasonable. On the day they were to deliver our stove -- in the morning -- it became a mess of problems. They couldn't come when we needed them to be there, etc etc. They finally showed up in the afternoon. Removed our old stove and delivers a new one. As they were leaving, I realized it was not the brand stove I'd selected. After much calling -- on my part -- crying and begging, they finally delivered the correct stove the next day late morning. They said they service our brand/model and said the visit would cost $149, to be applied to any repair. When the technician diagnosed the unit, he agreed it was the compressor. He gave us an estimate and collected his $149. We thought Appliance King was going to do the repair. But less than 5 minutes after they left, they called and said they do not service our brand/model. So, basically, they stole $149 and our time in bad faith.
