I have contacted this guy on at least two occasions to no avail and both times my situation was in need of immediate attention as is often the case with lock issues I presume. I don't think I will try again if it comes up though because I don't have the time to waste in urgent events like this and I don't don't need the extra stress and frustration of waiting for someone who is responding. Very professional and courteous. Thomas answered my 1st call right away, I asked for a quote and he got back to me within the hour and was able to locate a certified OEM key fob and said he could come to my location and make the key the same day. I lost my car key so I called about 4 key/lock places to get the cheapest key made. Either they didn't service my area, they were closed or they flat out did not answer. When I called Abbey Auto Lock & Key a nice man answered the phone. He gave me a reasonable quote and was able to help me right away. He took all my information over the phone. About a year ago, Tom came all the way from Redding up to Mt Shasta in a matter of hours and fixed me up a key for an incredibly reasonable price. For context, let's compare: I'm now in Long Beach in the same situation--Tom came faster and offered a better price from 100 miles away and than the guys currently within 20 minutes of me. This brings me to the second instance of Tom's excellent customer service: currently, techs from two Long Beach companies have been unable to make me a key that works. I decided to call up Tom to confirm my key and chip info since he had no troubles last year. He immediately pulled up his notes and gave me all info I needed and more. Excellent service. We lost our keys of Chevy express van (12 seater) in Lake Britton Burney falls state park, CA. Tom was very prompt, professional and kind. He explained all the details of the process and costs of getting a new duplicate key working. He arrived on time and there were some software issues with the vehicle which took almost 90 minutes, but he tried all the techniques​ to get a temporary key get working else we could have been in a big mess of getting the vehicle towed all the way from Burney to San Jose!.. I would give more stars if I could. My wife and I were traveling cross country and realized one of our key fobs had been lost. Must have dropped it. Clumsy me... I called Tom who was very courteous and professional. He had a refurbished fob and even offered to set it aside for me since we weren't in the area yet.
