There appears to have been some misunderstanding as the scope of work was not fully communicated to the locksmith so he tried to ask for a higher price than I had agreed. I was serviced nearly 2 years ago. Finally getting around to writing a review. From what I remember, the locksmith was friendly, finished fairly quickly, and had a good price too. My front door deadbolt was replaced and new keys were made for the deadbolt and door knob. The deadbolt and keys have been working great. read more

Great service! Last Sunday when tropical storm hit So. Cal, my family was faced with a very unexpected locked out situation. Our front door was unlock but couldn't get it to open. After taking out the doorknob and still no luck, I finally decided to contact a few locksmith services around the area through Yelp. BAIT AND SWITCH! Robert quoted me one price for changing two front door locks to my rental condo unit in Fullerton. He calls me back an hour later and he wants to charge 13.5% more even though the job requirements had not changed. We negotiated a price in between and set up an appointment for Saturday, 11/6/21 at 11am. Saturday comes and nobody from Abba shows up! I call him at 12:30pm and he gives me attitude about my complaining about the no show. He bitched and moaned about me rescheduling our original Thursday appointment which I had to change due to work requirements. Things happen in life that require flexibility and changes. This guy's inflexibility and bad attitude as a service provider left a lot to be desired. Very surprised at how this guy stays in business with that shitty attitude. He seemed a bit vindictive too. Quick, friendly, and their pricing was very reasonable. I had abba locksmith open up a small safe I had. My safe battery had ran out and I was unable to locate the key to open it. I really needed the documents I had inside. I contacted abba locksmith, they immediately responded with a very competitive quote & came in less than 1 hour to help open up the safe. They were VERY friendly, came to my home with a face mask (which I appreciated) . He made sure to open the safe in front of me. Needed a little elbow grease to open up but thankfully he was able to open it. Great service! I totally recommend them if you need a lock smith. read more

Worst experience I've ever had. I am a small business owner in Downtown Fullerton. I was leaving my office in a hurry for an appointment and locked my wallet and keys inside around 6pm this evening. I immediately pulled up yelp and called this locksmith. They said they were local and know the area, and could be at my place in less than 30 minutes and open the door for $80. Rather than call anyone else, I trusted that they would help me out and I agreed. My appointment was not until 7:30, so I figured I would still make it just in time. 30 minutes later, I get a call from the locksmith. He says that he can't find anywhere to park and that he can't help, and then just hung up on me. I called the main number back and spoke with the receptionist. I reminded her that this is Downtown Fullerton, and there is tons of public parking. She just said the guy couldn't find a place to park and did nothing more to help. Unbelievable. I have never had worse service in my life. Meanwhile, it's been another hour and I'm still locked out of my office, and have now missed my appointment. Do not trust this company. There are plenty other options that will not leave you locked out in the rain. read more

I give this place a 4 Stars but it honestly kinda hinges on a 3.5 for me. I was locked out of my apartment without my keys and needed to get back in as the property owner was on holiday for a week. They were very fast and responsive over the phone and the receptionist offered me a discount when I said the usual price was a little out of my range so I appreciate the help in my time of need! However the actual locksmith took well over an hour to get to my location because he had just checked his vehicle into a car wash. I understand the circumstance but can't help but be irritated in the situation where I'm locked out in the cold. When he arrived (I forgot to get his name) he was friendly and efficient working and I was back inside in minutes. The only thing I am very suspect about is how my card was photographed to be sent in for payment instead of taken thru a device on the spot. I'm sure my info won't be stolen, but it's such a breech in my sense of security I'd rather pay cash next time. Overall, not a bad experience. read more
