We recently moved and locked ourselves out of our new home. We called Abba and they sent a technician, Pete, out right away to accommodate our schedule, even working with us to change the time after we booked it. He was very knowledgeable about our locks and was able to get us back in the house very quickly. He took the time to explain options for our doors and rekeying. We had a miscommunication with a charge for keys for the door that self locked which wasn't explained to us on the phone when we booked the appt. The owner called following the appt and was very courteous and upon hearing of the issue with the key charge credited us back. I would not hesitate to call them again and recommend them to friends. They were courteous and responsive. read more

Amazing Amazing Amazing. I called first thing in the morning and Rob came right out to my business. We have been having issues with the lock and I had finally had enough. Rob was kind, quick and down right amazing. He told me that my lock was old and replacing it was my best option. He even said that he could mold it to my current key. The price was unbeatable. I asked if he had time to replace it now for me and he did. You always hear about people becoming Raving Fans of a company and Abba Locksmith has definitely made me a Raving Fan. I will be using them in the future and would recommend them to anyone and everyone. Thank you Rob for the awesome job! read more

Got quotes on YELP yesterday because we had renters moving out the next day (we were not sure what time - hoping the earlier the better!). The instant they drove away, I contacted Abba Locksmith to come "RIGHT NOW" because they were nightmare renters - Rob was there within minutes and rekeyed the two doors so quickly... then as he was running my cc for payment I found another lock to fix - he was so patient and fixed that one...while he fixed that one I found another one to fix. He could have been frustrated (which I would understand) but he was patient and fixed all the doors/locks! Highly recommend!! read more

About two weeks ago, I moved into a new house, and gave Abba Locksmith a call, wanting to get the locks changed, and they sent someone out right away! Rob worked hard for two hours changing the whole variety of locks on all my doors, not only giving me the security of new locks, but also working to make sure they all matched up so that I wouldn't need a whole bunch of different keys for all the different style locks. He was extremely helpful and friendly. The prompt service really blew my mind as they worked alongside my family as we moved in. So thankful for Rob and Abba. Best service!!! read more

I was painting the front door today and needed to remove all the hardware. After all done I replaced the hardware nothing worked right. After numerous attempts to remove and replace nothing helped. Total frustration. It was evening and getting dark but needed to get the lock and deadbolt working. Called Abba Locksmith. Rob arrived shortly thereafter and he fixed me up. Did a great job, had a great attitude, and cost was very fair. Was super satisfied. Rob knows his stuff and I will call him for sure next time I need a locksmith. Thanks Rob! read more

I got locked out of my house after THE longest plane trip ever and called three other locksmiths before I found Abba. Two didn't answer their phones, (though they said 24 hours) & the third wanted to charge me $200 to come out. Because it was late. When I called Abba, I spoke to Rob, who could not have been more helpful. He came out right away and got the door open within seconds. The price was almost too fair. I will forever recommend Abba and can see why they have tons of rave reviews. They are well deserved! Thanks Rob & Abba! read more

We needed a Locksmith in Carlsbad on a Sunday (yesterday). I did a search on my phone for a Locksmith near me. Abba came up first and it stated he worked on Sundays so I called, and Rob answered the phone. He said he would be on his way and within 15 minutes he was changing the lock. He also repaired the door knob so it wouldn't stick. This was fantastic service and if we ever need another Locksmith again, he will be the one I call. He was very quick and very professional. read more

After a bad experience with a pay to advertise place from Google, my wife found Rob with Abba Locksmith on Yelp. What a relief! Rob was punctual, extremely efficient and most importantly to me, his price was very fair and reasonable. We had to drill the door open (kwikset smart key lock) but he had opened in AND installed a new lock within about 10 minutes. I was very happy with his service, attitude and would definitely call them again if I need a local locksmith. read more

I had to get my house locks re-keyed because of recent work so I checked out YELP and found that ABBA Locksmith had great reviews. I called and spoke with Rob; we schedule a day and time for the work; Rob came out and re-keyed 5 locks; made 5 keys for me; tested the locks and keys; fixed two other things (no charge) that he found with two of the locks and within 45 minutes he was done! Everything works great! Great service and very professional. Thanks Rob!!! read more

Had an issue with a front door lock, which was an expensive hardware that I was hoping I wouldn't have to replace. I called Abba Locksmith because of all the great reviews and told him about the issues; after listening about the issues, he let me know that it was probably a minor repair. He was available the next day which was just what I needed and gave a diagnosis and fixed it right away. I would certainly call him again with any lock /key services. read more

Don't look any further!!! I had to have a few doors fixed in our office. When I called, they were extremely friendly. Abba came out within a couple hours. I had a courteous call prior - advising me of there expected arrival time. Once they arrived, our doors were taken care of immediately. They were quick, clean and extremely friendly. Special props to Rob. Thanks for taking care of us!!! We appreciate it. DirectAvenue, Inc. (Carlsbad) read more

Then later that night when I went to the gym I locked myself out again! Force of habit I guess.... Rob came over right away and was super helpful and nice about it! Lesson learned! 1st, Robert's quote for replacing my (lost key) mailbox lock was $20.00 less than those of any other mobile locksmiths I contacted. 2nd, he was immediately available, and arrived exactly when promised, just an hour after I called him. 3rd, he was courteous, Covid-compliant, and efficient--he replaced the lock and provided me with new keys in under 15 minutes. 4th, all the above--kinda explains why Robert is so highly rated here on Yelp. read more

First phone contact with their office was very courteous and the woman contacted Rob right away. Rob happened to be free within the hour to help unlock our front door (key locked inside) _and_ he had the time to do our rekeying of the whole house which we had assumed would have to be a later appointment. He also made a great suggestion on choice of new lock color and even repainted the handle plate to match. Couldn't be happier. read more

I was looking to find a locksmith in Carlsbad and called ABBA. Robert the owner arrived within the hour, he was professional and more than helpful. I ended up changing the whole lock and dead bolt because he gave me a killer deal and stuck around to help me change the door sweep which was quite an ordeal seeing as he had to drill out the old screws. I couldn't be happier and more pleased with Robert and his outstanding company. read more

I called Abba Locksmith on Saturday (3/5/2016) and with my work schedule I could only get to my rental property the following morning (Sunday, 3/6/2016) to get new locks installed. Rob was here in the morning, drilled the doors and installed the locks in a very professional manner less than 24 hours from the call. I would highly recommend Rob and his company to anyone needing the services of a locksmith. read more
