It has been about 2.5 weeks and our experience has been amazing. Within a couple of hours Will and his team were here and started the mitigation process. They communicate incredibly well. Will is always asking if we have any questions and if he can explain what and why they are doing things. The mitigation team, the packing team, the demolition team always call 30-45 minutes before they show up at the house. They are very polite and respectful. I have not encountered anyone who made me feel like I was not the owner of the house. Communication was over the top and Will always wants me to understand the what and why and what to expect in the future. I especially want to name Will (project manager), Michael (packing and moving team), and Cody who is the head of all these teams. I highly recommend this company! I can only go by our experience with a devastating event. Cody is excellent with dealing with the insurance side of things!

The demolition went fine for a water leak, but the restoration took 6 months rather than 2 to 3. Communication was awful -- the first project manager ghosted us for weeks, and no one at the company even knew he had disappeared. The new PM took another month to "get up to speed" on the project. We didn't get notice when workers would be arriving or what to expect for scheduling in general. There was no foresight about the scope of the project. We were encouraged to order flooring materials that ended up being impossible to use and then were charged a large fee to return them. Then they tore up flooring they were supposed to leave in place, causing another delay. It was a huge relief to finally finish and not to have to deal with their team anymore.

New Leaf completed a thorough inspection (they were actually sent by the seller), provided a fair bid, and were gracious enough to offer a payment plan. When they came to do the work over the course of three days, they were hard working and cleaned up after themselves. One of my favorite things, though, was overhearing someone telling the group these encouraging things like "diamonds are made from pressure!" Just thought that a company that supported their people was a company everyone should support. Our HVAC contractor was also super impressed with them! Would 1000% hire again.
