We used Denver Pro Pet Sitting while we were on vacation and it was an absolute lifesaver. They checked in on our cats, made sure everything was taken care of, and sent updates that made it clear our little furballs were living their best lives while we were gone. Reliable, communicative, and clearly people who genuinely care about animals. It's such a relief knowing your pets are in good hands instead of just hoping the automatic feeder doesn't become their new enemy. 10/10 would trust them with our cats again. Pretty sure the cats didn't even miss us.

You can text, email, or respond in the portal. The sitters give you great detail on your pets bathroom and eating habits and medications. They also provide lots and lots of pictures! I was unfortunate enough to have an emergency while on vacation with no way to get home quickly or call anyone. Nelson and my sitter were absolutely amazing in handling the situation with urgency, care, and communicated with me the best they could given my limited availability. I hope I never have another emergency when I'm gone, but if I do, it's Denver Pro Pet Sitting I want taking care of my pets. Finally, they do their best to assign the same sitter every time. I really love seeing my sitter comment on my dog's health improvements since previous visits and makes me feel like they genuinely care about my pets and their well being.

Two of them are my problem children: a Rottweiler mix foster fail who is reactive to bikes and other dogs and occasionally nervous around people like visiting contractors or UPS men, and the other is a 100+ lb Brazilian mastiff rescue from Aruba who is not fond of other dogs. The two of them began showing increasingly worse dog aggression toward other dogs on the trail and while camping, and had attacked several dogs by the time I found Loyal Hound/Juliet. I was at my wit's end, because I had already spent thousands of dollars and tried everything including other trainers at that point with little to no progress. I felt stuck with 2 big problems for the next 6-8 years. I hike at least 3 miles every single day off leash on the trails by my house, and I love to camp with my dogs in the summer, but they became such a liability that walks became stressful and camping became impossible. I finally found Juliet with Loyal Hound, and for our very first session we met at a crowded park and were going to be doing off leash training right away. I was so nervous -- all the triggers were present: other people with dogs on leashes, dogs off leashes, people on bikes, squirrels -- so I was absolutely AMAZED when we were walking my Rottweiler off leash through a gaggle of geese, past people on bikes, and past other dogs within a few minutes with no problems. It was nothing short of a miracle. Within a few sessions, I had both of my dog aggressive dogs walking on and off leash next to me, passing other dogs (sometimes dogs that were even barking at them) on trails safely with no reactivity. I cannot explain in words how much of a difference this has made in my life -- I feel like I got my life back. If you have a dog aggressive dog, this is the place to go. It's WELL worth the investment, and you will be amazed at the difference you will see in your dog. Thank you Loyal Hound & Juliet!!

Within 5 minutes we were able to re-establish the training methods that work and get Hope back on track with easy leash walking. I am so impressed with her concise easy to follow instructions. I am looking forward to taking my two Samoyeds on walks again while walking my toddler in a stroller without having to worry that Hope will pull us. Trained dogs are safe dogs and I'd pay for the training with Juliet 10x over. Worth every penny! It makes my life easier as a single mom managing all the things to have two dogs that get to enjoy being outside with us because I trust them and they trust me. Don't hesitate if you need help with your dog!

I first noticed my dog was coming home with tons of energy when it use to be he crashed as soon as he was in the door. Then the daily text messages with pics of my pup unexpectedly stopped. Where it use to be every holiday or sport season was celebrated with dog costume photo shoots or other events, none have occurred in over two months. The last straw was when I picked up my pup last week and he reeked of dirty dog kennel. If anything, the dogs previously always smelled of whatever flowery odor powder they would spray on them before. During one pickup I was told a team from Austin were training at the location. Then two weeks later all the staff I knew were gone and I was told the franchise was under new ownership. While the new family owners are nice, the whole shop seems understaffed and drastically changed. I was willing to pay the high amount they charge because the pup was happy and the services were over the top, I'm now looking for another location that is either the same high level service the shop use to be or the current service level at a more appropriate price.

However, when my husband went in to pick our dogs up, he was given the wrong black lab not once, not twice, but THREE times. After the first two mix-ups (and with a cranky toddler melting down), he was so relieved and eager to get home that he didn't realize the third lab was STILL not our dog. While they look very similar, our lab is male. We got all the way home with a female black lab of similar age and markings. Understandably furious, my husband called to alert the team and ensure our dog was still there. The staff member on the phone admitted realizing the third dog was female, and said, "that's why we didn't bring her out the first time." I understand you would expect an owner to correctly identify their dog, but why on earth would you knowingly let the wrong dog leave the premises? I am flabbergasted. By way of explanation, staff said they had five different black labs in their care that day. Why would you remove their collars if you find them that hard to tell apart??? I sincerely hope new practices will be put in place to prevent this from ever happening again. I also hope City Bark will inform the family of the sweet girl who accidentally visited our home about what happened. What a wild and inexcusable experience.

When I first chatted with Jane she told me she owned cats and I was afraid that Huck would be too feisty towards them. However within minutes of being in Jane's home, it was obvious that she is truly the mama bear/pack leader and all animals become harmonious little angels in her presence. I now get pictures of my dog sleeping next to cats and I see him walking side-by-side with them, totally unphased. Jane has watched my dog for extended vacations (2-3 weeks at a time) and has him over for daycare once a week. Daycare is seriously his favorite day of the week. He runs to Jane's door and bangs into it, demanding to be let in. He can barely keep his eyes open when I pick him up because he's had such an eventful day! Things unique to Jane's boarding/daycare: * Crate free atmosphere. Dogs sleep with her or wherever they like. * Backyard time * Dog park visits * She cares about your dogs behavior/growth and will work with your dog to help them get over fears, aggression, bad behavior, etc. * Unlike daycare or boarding in "corporate" places, your dog is active all day long. At corporate places, my dog would be in a holding room and cycled out for playtime so he wasn't getting exercise all day. My personal experience: * Huck is less aggressive for a few days after daycare. * My dog is usually one of the smallest dogs at her house and it's been great to get him exposed to other large breeds or breeds that he previously took issue with. * Peace of mind that my dog is getting some quality off leash time. Jane takes the dogs to the dog park in small groups and sometimes he gets to go multiple times a day. * Relief that my dog can be a dog and I don't have to worry about his behavior. If I take my dog to the dog park, I'm constantly worried he'll attack a dog. When he's with Jane, he behaves well since he's in a pack and isn't being protective over me.

The problem I've found with a lot of groomers is they are booked 6+ weeks out. Unfortunately, when I need to book a groom it's most likely b/c I've spilled queso or some other drippy snack in my dog's head hair and I need a groomer today, not 6 weeks from now. Woof in Boots was able to get me in the same week I called. When I dropped her off I spoke with the groomer and explained my dog's new anxiety contributed to her recent diagnoses of Cushing's Disease. My dog is now a nervous nelly when I bring her to the groomers. I felt very comfortable leaving my dog here. The groomer assured me she would stop immediately if it got to be too much for my old lady. My dog was done in less than 2 hours (I've bene places where they've kept her for 5+ hours). When I picked her up she was free roaming in the secure doggy area. She had her tongue hanging out and seemed happy. I loved that she was cage-free after her groom since she has PTSD from all her surgeries (and being caged). I will definitely be back for all my grooming needs - and most likely day care as well!

The Sunday I went there was lots of parking in front and along the side streets. The facility itself seemed to need some attention & upkeep - the front glass window was cracked & the inside lobby looked a bit disorganized. In addition, customers are not allowed to tour the facility. As with most boarding places, all dogs need to have an evaluation before a reservation can be made. At this facility dogs have daycare with boarding. There is no charge for the evaluation. I made my evaluation time for drop off at 10am & pick up at 2pm on a Sunday. Thank goodness I received a reminder text the morning of because the text also said the lobby is closed from 10-4pm on Sundays. No one mentioned this when I made the appointment. I would have been very disappointed had I gotten there & it was closed. I did call & they asked if I could be there a little early & someone would be in the lobby for pickup at 2pm. I was not happy at pickup when I discovered poop all over one side, by the ear & neck on one of my dogs. The employee was surprised & apologetic, he took her in the back & gave her a bath. The employee was very friendly & personable. At Woof & Boots he said they try to be accommodating & flexible. For example, if some dogs like people more (than dogs) they allow them to hang out with the staff in the lobby, which is gated. They also offer the Bordetella Vaccine for $35 & provide a First Day Report Card with picture of your dog(s).

Today when I picked him up from being groomed they cut his hair all the way down. The groomer said she checked the notes and this is what they "have always done". WRONG he has NEVER had his hair shaved down. The owner Luke apologized and stated that his health is not affected. Also WRONG Luke! He is an 8 year old black double coated dog and we are heading into the warm summer months. My senior black fur dog just lost the ability to maintain his temperature regulation. What groomer would not know that you are not supposed NEVER shave down a long haired Dachshund as it damages the coat and impairs the dogs ability to regulate temperature. A knowledgeable groomer would know that long haired Dachshunds are DOUBLE COATED and their undercoat protects them from heat in the summer and cold in the winter. A knowledgeable groomer would know that shaving down their fur can damage their permanent coat preventing it from growing back properly. Poor guy it looks horrible and I'm praying that somehow we are lucky and it grows back in without being permanently damaged. This is going to impact my dogs entire summer as he will have to avoid being in the sun. So no long walks or hikes for him. So you are WRONG Luke this is more than cosmetic and goes way beyond my dog looking absolutely horrible. This definitely affects his health and his life. BEWARE AND NEVER BRING YOUR DOG HERE!!!!
