Within two sessions and a specialty session at a vet clinic we have a completely different dog. If there was a negative rating, they would get it from me. These folks provided the worst experience I have ever had with a petsitter and I've been getting sitters for decades. From things that they did in my home to my cat being behind a washer/dryer for who knows how long - they will never set foot in my house again. There was somehow a schedule snafu and I was told to reach out to the site to find out what happened. Interesting since they are the ones using that website service and I paid for all of the days. Should this not be their job to find out what happened? To top it off, when I expressed my displeasure with everything that happened, the owner didn't even have the courtesy to apologize for the horrid service that I received, let alone offer even a token refund. read more

I've used Creature Connections (Michelle Pietras) a few times in the past to watch my dogs and had no problems. It wasn't until the most recent time that her business practices became awful. This most recent trip, I scheduled her services on Feb1st, 2024. I never heard a word from her until 20 hours before the first scheduled visit (and 16 hours before I left on a trip) on April 1st, 2024. She informed me that instead of having 1 person come over 3 times a day, now there would be 3 different people coming over each day of my trip. She said this was necessary do to an "emergency" that came up. So instead of having 1 person (Robbie) come over whom my dogs knew and was familiar with my house, now I was going to have 3 strangers come over whom my dogs had never met. One of my dogs in particular does not do well around new people all the time so I was worried about the stress this would cause him. Since Michelle, the owner, has a very strict cancellation policy (50% penalty for cancellation with 48 hours of services), I asked for a 10% discount due to this change. She became aggressive and told me I was paying for the number of visits and not the number of different people that come over, even if it results in worse service. She then told me in each and every email as we went back and forth that I could cancel my reservation with her. Where was I going to find someone to pet sit for me just hours before I was going to leave on a trip?!? Especially when my main concern was with strangers interacting with my dogs? I was very worried she was going to be completely unprofessional and cancel on me so I just let it go at this point. Michelle eventually changed it so only 2 new people would be coming to my house each day. I paid the full price for all services rendered while I was away. Then today when I tried to schedule her services again for a business trip I have in a few weeks, she informed me she would no longer work with me. Again, it was her change in services less than 20 hours before it was supposed to begin that caused any sort of an issue. And all I did was ask for a 10% discount to make up for the change. I'd stay far away from Creature Connections and Michelle Pietras. She doesn't allow a customer to have an emergency with 48 hours before a scheduled visit without a 50% penalty, but she is allowed to do whatever she wants if she has an emergency less than 24 hour before a service is scheduled. I just want to say WOW. I used this service for the first time and was so impressed. I'll start off by saying I have quite the brood of pets (9 cats and 2 dogs) and was extremely nervous going on vacation and leaving them behind. I had a ton of anxiety about it. From the start CC seemed very organized and on top of things, from the initial consult to the wonderful app they use to the communication in between. Once we left on vacation we got detailed updates on every visit about all our pets including lots of pics! My husband and I loved these updates and looked forward to each and every one. They really put our minds at ease while we were gone. All the pet sitters were super nice and doted on our babies a lot which we appreciated. They also followed instructions and did a fantastic job at keeping our house intact during our absence. Most importantly, our pets seemed to love them, especially our shy and nervous pittie, Redford. Creature Connections have taken care of our furkids several times now and we have always been pleased. We have one dog that is skittish of strangers but they have been able to win her over quickly. I really love that they text an update with every visit, complete with photos of your pets. When you are traveling and hate to leave them behind it is very reassuring to get that and know that your dogs have enjoyed a play session in the backyard and your cat enjoyed some snuggling. AMAZING. We have never left our pets at home before but we have had bad experiences with boarding our pets so we decided to give it a shot. We have two mini Aussies and my daughter's corgi. The Aussies seemed to get sick each time we boarded them in the past. I think the dogs were stressed when away from home so we contacted Creature Connections based on a great review on NextDoor. Michelle came over for the initial interview and her knowledge about what it takes to be a great pet sitter put me at ease. Then we had the great privilege of having Amela be our actual sitter. WOW - she was so attentive and caring. Our pets are a bit "much" (that is an understatement...) but Amela treated them so well. We loved the personal reports and pictures after each visit. It wasn't a little "standard" report - it was a report that showed great attention to details so we could tell she really was attentive to the dogs needs. I've been very pleased both times I used this pet sitting service. First of all, they're professional. When Michelle came over the first time, she was thorough in taking notes and asking pertinent questions. She seemed serious about her work and very business like. They even left me a thank you card after I tipped them. I requested that they water my outdoor flowers, which they did. They administered my elderly cat's meds properly. My shy cat liked Robbie. Most importantly, they texted me daily to let me know how the cats were doing. This is of particular importance because I really worry about them when I'm away. One of the cats is 17 and his health isn't what it used to be. Because Robbie communicated with me I was able to relax and enjoy my short vacation without worrying and stressing. Michelle at Creature Connections has been doing weekly walks for my two dogs since 2009. She is 100% reliable and is flexible if I need to change days or times. I know she has my dogs' best interests at heart. She has helped administer medications and done bandage changes when needed. If you are looking for a caring, compassionate, honest and trustworthy pet sitting company avoid Creature Connections, LLC at ALL COSTS. We have three precious cats, and the following happened when we made the horrific mistake of trusting Michelle and Brittany with Creature Connections with the care of our loved ones - 1. We returned home to all cat dishes with murky, slimy water that had not been changed out in over 3 days or more. We had left multiple jugs of water for our kitties in the fridge, yet the sitter could not be bothered to give them fresh water for days on end. 2. One of our kitties is special needs and the sitter and owner Michelle assured us that she would be fed her wet food with fiber powder mixed in on a daily basis as directed; however, the sitter only opened 1 out of the 3 cans we left for the week, and when we got home the wet food sat untouched by the kitty on a dish with fiber powder poured onto the top of the food, not mixed in. Our kitty had to be taken to the vet for subcutaneous fluids for dehydration, antibiotic for her diarrhea, an appetite stimulant pill and an anti-nausea injection plus a fecal test (totaling over $250) because she had a GI flare up with clostridium over-growth as a result of her not receiving her daily fiber as directed. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. 3. Two of the cat dry food dishes upstairs were COMPLETELY EMPTY. We had left multiple bags of labeled cat food in our downstairs bedroom; however, this utterly indifferent and lazy-ass sitter could not bothered to fill their food dishes up again as she witnessed them dwindle each day she came in. 4. The sitter left a note indicating one cat had peed outside the litter box one day, yet the litter boxes were wretched filthy when we got home. The cat would pee outside the box if the box was too dirty to use. The pee was not entirely cleaned up off the bathroom floor, and the paper towel and disinfectant we had left in the kitchen was untouched. The Kleenex in our bathroom was picked at all over our counter as if she had grabbed at it and possibly used some water to barely swipe up the pee. 5. When we were explaining key things when we met the sitter she was not even making eye contact with us. We were telling her where the breaker box was, where to feed the cats in the kitchen, where the emergency water shut off valve was - and all along she just ignored us while looking randomly around our home instead. WTF? This sitting service charged us $140 for a week's worth of completely sub-standard 'service', and when I approached the owner Michelle Pietras she just said 'I'm sorry, try us again!'. Seriously??? We are stuck with additional vet expenses now directly resultant of their negligence with no offer to refund our money for the fraudulent service they delivered - promising services such as clean drinking water and daily delivery of supplements/wet food that they failed to deliver - this pet sitting service should not be allowed to con trusting pet owners into believing that they genuinely are about your pets and their well-being. Take it from us, THEIR SITTER DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR PETS AND WILL DO WHATEVER THEY FEEL LIKE HALF-ASS DOING WHILE YOU ARE AWAY AND NOBODY IS WATCHING THEM. read more

We had a friend house sitting and watching over our 2 dogs and 2 cats but one of our cats is 17 and requires subcutaneously fluids and a pill administered once a day. Our friend did not feel comfortable administering this for our cat Matt Matt. So at the last minute we contacted Creature Connection. Michelle came over the next day and we went over all the details of Matt Matt's care. She even took the time to give Matt Matt her pill and fluids to see how she would react and took detailed notes. While we were gone I got a text message from her everyday about Matt Matt's progress. When we got home there was also a log of her interactions with Matt Matt. Creature Connections has been taking care of my babies (frisky and boots) for the last 18-24 months. They have been incredible in every manner. I have been extremely happy with their service and would recommend Michelle or any of the pet sitters 100%!!!!!!!!! She has been walking my dog Frisky and hanging out with my cat boots for about 2 years now. She always brings in my mail and makes sure my boys are happy. I think they are happier to see her than me :( They love her :) The first time I hired Creature Connections I was a little skeptical. I had used a few different pet sitters in the past and didn't really like the service I received. So when I hired Michelle and Creature Connections I had my neighbor keep an eye on my house and my boys. I had a week long vacation to Florida and wanted to make sure everything was in order. My neighbor said the sitter was their by 630 every night and left at about 7. I had hired her to do overnights and a midday for the week. My neighbor also said she was there everyday around noon. That alone would have sold me that she was so prompt compared to past companies I used. My neighbor Karen told me that Frisky seemed to be taken for long walks at every visit. She also commented on how the sitter turned on different lights to make it look as if I was home, she grabbed my mail, took out the trash and my dog looked very happy. After this trip my neighbor Karen also uses Creature Connections as her pet sitter. I'd like to add that she watered my plants and even vacuumed the house the night before I returned. My house seemed cleaner than I usually leave it. I was sold and have used Creature Connections on a regular basis ever since. I have had a few of the sitters through creature connections watch my boys over the last two years and they are all great. Since the original visit I trust them fully with my boys. Michelle has even gone way above and beyond. When she was doing a 3 day overnight visit for me my refrigeration had gone bad on the first day. She had cleaned up all the water that had leaked and put all my perishables in a cooler and bought ice to keep it till I got back. She has also bought more dog food for me on one occasion when I completely forgot to leave enough dog food for the entirety of my trip. She always makes sure there is fresh water and the litter box is cleaned. I wouldn't recommend any other company as much as this one a++++++++ read more
