With a heavy heart we had to say goodbye to our sweet love Turbo this week. I entrusted his care as I always have to the Eastlake staff, and as always they were wonderful. Kind, sensitive and knowledgeable are just a few words I would use to describe the staff. Turbo was relaxed and calm right to the end. He went very peacefully. I was never rushed and given plenty of space to say my last goodbye. They even let me go home after he passed to get my other pups to have their last moments with him to make sure they understood. I'm not exactly sure how to start this, but I feel it's important to share our experience. We used to come to Eastlake quite often, but unfortunately the last two visits left us very disappointed. The first visit was just for a check-up. At that time, I didn't want to vaccinate my cat yet because he wasn't acting like himself, and I wanted to wait until the next visit. I explained this, but throughout the appointment the nurse and doctor made several comments about how he needed vaccines and his rabies shot. I completely understand the importance of vaccines, but I felt pressured because I had already said I planned to do them--just not that day. The doctor then said they didn't want to do an exam if I was just going to come back later for vaccines, since they didn't want to charge me both times. It just left me feeling unheard and pressured rather than supported. The second visit was far more serious. My cat had vomited a reddish, dark brown liquid that looked like dried blood, and he was very lethargic. The nurse and front desk staff were kind, but my interaction with the doctor was upsetting. She barely let me speak, often cut me off, and made me feel like my questions were silly or unimportant. I had to show her pictures to prove my cat had vomited blood. When I asked about treatments, the way she explained things felt belittling instead of compassionate. They suggested an anti-nausea shot and ulcer medication, but when they took him back, they returned saying he "wasn't cooperating." The doctor never came back to talk to me herself--I only got information from the nurse. Instead of trying further, they just sent me home with medicine. It felt like she barely examined him and had already written him off. Another huge concern was the cost. I was quoted extremely high prices for x-rays and bloodwork, which I couldn't afford at the time. I would have tried to find options--CareCredit, pet loans, or even other clinics--but no one mentioned any of those resources. It wasn't until we went to another vet later that I learned about them. Sadly, by then it was too late. Our sweet kitty passed away from anemia at the end of July, he was 1.5 years old. I understand that vets have limits, and I know not everything can be affordable or easy. But what hurt the most was the lack of compassion and the way I felt dismissed and pushed away. When you're scared and heartbroken for your pet, compassion and communication mean everything and I wish we had received more of that during our visits here. read more

I have been going to Eastlake for a little over a year as I am fairly new to the area. I have had my dogs there several times and have never had an issue. From reading several of the reviews alot of you people just sound like you are entitled. The ladies at the front desk have always been very helpful and knowledgeable and if they didnt know the answer, they would go ask someone. They are human, the vets are human and the Vet Techs are human as well, just like you. The way you treat people is the way you are going to get treated. Be kind to one another you aren't entitled to anything better than the next person and you don't know what their day has been like just like they dont know what your day has been like. Our pets are our family we care and love them dearly. Thank you Eastlake you do an AMAZING job keep up the good work. You handled the situation this morning amazingly. I have been using Eastlake for over 20 years and I would say this place has gotten so money hungry and I don't feel the love for the animals like I used to. I have had a few bad encounters with Eastlake one being I brought my dog in with a broken tooth to be removed and thought id have 2 small lumps removed while she was going to be put under anyway.. well I get the quote from them and go ahead with everything and the night b4 the surgery they call me and tell me the tooth was not in the estimate!!! What?!? That is what I had brought her in for. Well long story short they ended up waiving one of the cyst removals. Well when I picked up my dog I was absolutely horrified when I saw the size and damage/ hack job they did on my girl.Ill attach photos if I'm able. Then 2 years later I bring her in for an ear infection ask them to treat both ears while we are here, she says no we only treat the infected ear it doesn't go to the other ear.. well wouldn't you know about 3 weeks later the other ear gets infected so I call them and asked if they would waive the office visit charge because I was just in there and paid over $300 for the first ear infection.. She says I'll note your file and see what they say. Well someone calls me back about an hour later and says no we have to charge you the office visit fee sorry.. I said to the lady I think I'm going to look for another vet. Her response was "do you want me to send you over your vet records?? I couldn't even believe that is how they try and keep customers so rude and like I had said it feels like all they care about is the MONEY!!! read more

Thank you Eastlake Vet!! I needed to get my mini golden doodle seen ASAP because she hurt her paw. My regular vet (VCA Thornton) could not fit her in at any time to been seen this week. I could not wait a week ( a typical wait time for them) , and I dont have the big bucks to go to an ER animal hospital. I called around and Eastlake had an open appointment that afternoon. We took her in and she had an infected paw. Its nice that they fit her in and the price was VERY reasonable! They did not try to upsell us on anything and even decided Xrays were not necessary for her, saving us some money. Now, if she needed an Xray, we would of course went with that, but she didnt need them once an infection was determined to be the cause of her hurt paw. We have found a new Vet!! Took my cat and dogs here for years. Techs weren't particularly friendly, but at the time, I figured it wasn't about me. Some significant mistakes were made over those years, however. We were told by a vet there during it's first well kitten exam that our 8 week old kitten was male. When it was old enough to neuter, the vet went into a lengthy explanation of the complications of surgery because its testicles hadn't "dropped." I finally asked, "What would you do if it were your cat?" The vet took the kitten to consult with a colleague, came back and told me "your kitten is a female." The doctor was clearly embarrassed. Mistakes happen. I let it go. Looking back, though, maybe I should have moved on then. Attitude from staff made me dread going here. Over the years, there were a lot of "little" incidents and mistakes. Entering the wrong age and/or birthday for a pet in their computer system, for example. Giving me a week's worth of meds when it's supposed to be enough for a month. Etc., etc. I adopted a 2-yr old dog. Right away, her behavior wasn't "normal." She'd trip on things, misjudge doorways, and constantly walk so close behind me that my feet often hit her jaw. She barked at everything and wouldn't stop. I literally described this behavior at Every. Single. Visit. What I got back were comments such as, "Her eyes look normal, and they don't make glasses for dogs." "Some dogs are clumsy." "Dogs are not clumsy, but I don't see a problem." "It's probably her depth perception, but testing requires a specialist, is expensive, and there's nothing they can do." "Just laugh it off." I couldn't "laugh it off." She was getting injured. She tripped and broke a toenail at the bone, and had to have surgery. She sprained her knee. And frankly all the hits to her head couldn't have been good. But the constant barking. That was brutal for us humans. Fast forward five years. Somehow, we stuck it out. We tried a dog trainer. We tried kindness and patience. We tried every humane anti-barking technique we came across. Nothing helped. A vet at Eastlake (as usual, someone we'd never seen before) finally seemed to really listen. After checking her eyes, he told me, "Your dog is blind." He then described to ME how he assumed she'd been behaving, including the barking. The cones in her eyes were degraded. He was confused though, telling me the condition he suspected it to be usually started manifesting at 2 years old... He gave me some tips on how to help her. I wish we would have known sooner. He was great with our dog, but made it known how much he disliked cats--and wasn't joking about it. We had also brought our cat that visit for her checkup and shots. After some soul searching, I felt it was time for a change. There are so many vet offices to choose from. And even if it isn't "about me," I still deserve to be treated with respect. I never knew what I would get here. We never saw the same vet more than once, unless it was for particular injury "event." To be fair, we left before the pandemic. Maybe things have improved. I took a bit to write this review, however after I kept thinking about it, I am beyond frustrated. I have had 3 dogs that have all gone to this vet through the years. My dog is now 16 and struggles, however I have been taking him there to get his nail trim because they are sweet and gentle with him the first few times. I have not been able to go back the last 2 times I have taken him, which is fine as I am in an earshot if I hear him. While I was sitting in the lobby this last time waiting for the 15 minutes if takes to get this done, the two ladies behind the counter had such unprofessional conversations. They used foul language, talked poorly about other pet parents and were just not what I would expect from employees that are customer facing. They clearly knew I was sitting there, however used the F word more times than I could count and I would not want to be the few people they were speaking so poorly of. Just atrocious, gossipy women. It takes a lot to offend me, however as someone that works in customer service, I have higher expectations for people that do the same. These two were not anyone I would want working for me. Ever. The icing on the cake was when I went to pay. I took my dog there a month before (maybe a little longer) and it was $26. When I went to pay this time, it was over $40 - for a nail trim!! I asked how it almost doubled in price and she told me they added a "tech fee" from now on. $15 for 15 minutes!? She then proceeded to tell me that maybe I should go to PetSmart of PetCo. Seriously!!?? If they knew that when I made the appointment, they could have let me know that they added a fee, however they waited until after it was done to tell me. To me this was absolutely deceptive pricing, and an unfair practice! I feel totally ripped off and the service was terrible. After we got home, his nails were not even shorter! I know when I have to take him because he clicks on the hardwood flooring. Normally after a trim he is a sneaky little guy. Overall, after decades of going to this vet, I will never return and will never recommend this facility. I am very disappointed in the customer service (or lack there of), the outrageous pricing, the way that I was treated and the overall service my dog received. Do better. Be better people. read more

Horrible front desk staff! After using this clinic for years I will NEVER go back. Front desk canceled our previously scheduled appt. Our dog had been in an animal ER for 2 days and needed follow up. We arrived early only to find that the front desk had canceled the appt. Whether by accident or on purpose, this was not acceptable. Anonymous email only said they'll "try harder". Eastlake has cared for our dog for years and even boarded him for many vacations. Not sure what changed but they have become unreliable canceling appoints and being rude and demanding of us. If you can't be reliable and thoughtful you can't see our dogs. After many years we are looking for a new beer. read more

We took our older dog to this vet for years. When it was time to put him down we took him back to this vet. They were very kind to us and took good care of him. 6 months later we got a puppy and every visit has been worse than the last. The Vet techs are incredibly rude. They charged us twice on a $90 payment. When we called to have it fixed they blamed us for the issue. We have only seen an actual vet once and he only tried to sell us on insurance he didn't do much beyond that in our visit. The people at the front desk are condescending and talk down to customers. They are rude when we ask questions. One visit in particular, the front desk lady was so unprofessional. She was so busy discussing her personal life and issues she made me stand there while she told her co worker of her issues, all I wanted was the foot print for my dog we had to put down but that was clearly less important than her love life issues. Unfortunately we are switching vets, seems like we aren't the first to say that they are rude and unprofessional. read more

I had been going to Eastlake Veterinary since I adopted my dog in 2016. She developed incontinence a few years ago, and has been getting frequent UTI's. No clue as to why this was happening, many visits and many antibiotics later, I finally took her to another clinic today. That clinic actually examined her and right away saw that she has a hooded vulva. Eastlake never bothered to even look at that part of her, just charged me for multiple urinalysis's and meds. She is now scheduled for surgery at the other clinic to solve that issue and help her to not get the UTI's. I am beside myself with anger right now. Eastlake in my opinion does not want to actually help your pet, they only want money. They also charge $90 for a UA when the average price is between $30 and $60. If you question anything or try to make sure they have correct information, the Dr accuses you of not trusting them and says that she can't help you if you don't trust her. Run don't walk away from there. There is no empathy at this place and they don't do full exams, but they will sure charge you. My dog could have had this problem resolved years ago, but instead she has had to suffer with frequent UTI's. I wish I had gone the other clinic sooner. read more

We have had both our dogs with Eastlake since the early 2000s. I don't know if it is just the office manager or the entire staff who has decided patients and customers do not matter. We had an appointment this evening for 5:30 p.m. My husband was caught in traffic on his way to get my dog whom I cannot lift, due to recent shoulder surgery. I called the office to let them know that we are doing our best to get there on time. The response was if you are 10 minutes late you have to reschedule. We got there 11 minutes after our scheduled appointment and they refused to see us. On my last visit there, I had to wait an hour past my dog's appointment and the staff didn't seem to think that was a problem that I had to wait. I had seen the deterioration of the front staff the last few times I was there and thought they might be having a bad day. Apparently, all their days are bad. I'm glad the clinic is making so much money that they are able to stop having late hours and are able to let their patients know that they don't care if they lose them. read more

I had a sick cat who was all blocked up from eating something he shouldn't have. They kept him for most of a day, giving him fluids for dehydration and some enemas which unblocked him. They're very kind, and go above and beyond. Thanks to everyone at eastlake! read more

Eastlake vet has been caring for my 4 bulldogs since 2016! I highly recommend Dr Keiger. He's knowledgeable and makes sound recommendations for my dogs. We have had bladder stones, tail amputations, arthritis, knee issues amongst others medical problems and Eastlake has been there to support and care for my dogs. read more

There is never a wait when you call in to ask for help, there is never a long wait to get on the schedule to see the vet and they also have a same day option and it's very affordable for situations that need addressing quicker than others they are quick to refill prescriptions or to have special food ordered for your pet they answer their phones every time I call and if you do happen to leave a voice message it is returned in a timely manner I've never had to been put on the back burner, they always adress and help all of my cats needs. I have been taking my dogs to Eastlake Veterinary Services for over 30 years. A few weeks ago my dog very suddenly became extremely lethargic and seemed to be in pain. I called to try to get him in for an exam and was told the soonest appointment was in 3 weeks. When I asked who they would recommend they suggested another vet which is fairly new in the area. When I called that vet they said absolutley not, that they just do vaccines and do not deal with injuries. So on my own I found an emergency animal hospital that would see my dog that day within the hour. Everything turned out alright in the end. Then I listened to 2 podcasts on Freakonomics Radio about the private acquisition of vet clinics across the US. And the advantages and disadvantages of these acquistions and how that filters down to the patient and their families. And how several negative disadvantages have been linked with Thrive Pet Healthcare in respect to care for animals, disgruntled doctors, lower wages, etc. So I then found out online that Eastlake Veterinary Services has been acquired by Thrive. Today's Eastlake Vet Services is definitely not what it was when Dr. Tracy owned the service. If I can find a mom and pop vet services in our area I will be changing vets. read more

I took my dogs to this vet office last year and had an amazing experience with Dr. Quelet with both of our dogs. This year I have returned with my senior Siberian Husky regarding issue we've had with her aging, we were suspecting dementia as she has been ripping things up at night among other symptoms. I told my brother (owner) to bring her in and ask about a sedative or something to help her sleep at night. The next day I was called at work saying that the vet was recommending to euthanize our dog. This was an absolute shock to me as this dog has been going up and down the stairs, playing with us and our other dog, going on walks just fine, eating, and eliminating outside. I dropped everything to go to the office in hopes to understand what exactly lead the Dr. to draw this conclusion. While at the office the vet, Dr. Miller, said my dogs quality of life is at a 3, and she does know where she's at or who we are, and then proceeded to try to lift up my HUSKIES leg and touch her paw to do "stomach palpitations" which my husky responded by yelping... Dr. Miller flew back and just seemed beside herself while saying "I have never seen something like this before, this dog is in pain". I almost laughed, because if you know huskies, which any vet in Colorado should, you know that they aren't so fond of being touched in this manner. I told her that my dog has always responded this way to the vet and then I showed my family how I could palpitate her stomach and touch her paws myself with no such yelp at all. I have worked at vet offices, day cares for dogs, and as a groomer and I have met some pretty incompetent vets, but this one took the cake. My first week on the job as a vet assistant I witnessed at healthy German shepherd scream bloody murder as we tried to trim his nails, so if you're a vet and you've never seen a dog cry out when you simply touch it then I'd say you don't have much experience at all. Shame on you Dr. Miller for recommending my brother to euthanize his dog the day of her diagnosis of dementia, when she's been living out her life and successfully functioning in all of the ways a dog should. Might I add that when my bother requested a refill on her pain medication she only allowed two weeks worth, as if she was dead set on him euthanizing our dog in two weeks time. Ridiculous. Get a new Dr. Eastlake. We will never come back here. read more

I am so thankful for Dr. Kieger. My dog Monty had issues for years. He had a thin coat, would throw up often and always lethargic. We had done so many tests at other vets and they weren't able to figure out what was going on. We were running out of money and hope. Dr. Kieger was amazing and really spent the time to figure out what the problem was. My dog is now really healthy and thriving!! Separately, this office and Dr. Kieger also helped us when we had to put our other dog down. They were compassionate, professional and incredibly helpful during this hard time as well. If you're an atheist or just don't follow religious teachings, this office isn't for you. It's splattered with god quotes and ark pictures. Made me awfully uncomfortable. If you get pass the decor, you figure out how worthless their vet techs are. I don't think they realize we aren't paying for opinions. I recently adopted a deaf dog, knowing full well what I was getting into (researched before I got her, then scheduled a professional deaf dog trainer). This tech pretty much told us "good luck" with training her. Once I told her we have a trainer, she changed her tune. However, she probably shouldn't have jumped to conclusions like that, especially if some unknowing person thinks a tech is the expert. The vet was nice enough, however, they didn't get my pet's records before my appointment. So the entire appointment would've been a waste had I not contacted the prior vet myself. In all, this place is a mess. The front desk people have no idea how to run an office, the techs are jerks, and you can find a better vet by just googling. read more

The staff is overall friendly and they do seem to care about your pets. However, and this is a BIG however....they charge for follow-up visits which no other vet in the area does. If they see you for any issue, say fleas, and they treat your animal and say "come back in 3 weeks and we'll check to make sure they're gone" they still charge like $60 for a follow up visit. INSANE. For a 10 minute check?! No thanks. Also, one of the vet techs tried to bribe my kids with candy and when they didn't play her games, she told them some awful stories about what happens to kids who don't obey. The same tech also told me out loud in front of my kids that if I didn't give my cat a rabies shot and was suspected to have rabies, that the vet will decapitate it and send the head in for testing. My first visit here with our 15 year old cat. My husband has brought our two dogs here and he seems satisfied. The vet and vet tech both treated the cat with respect. The cat has at least one issue - at 15 I had more than one. Left thinking the place is crazy busy but that's a staffing issue and that is everywhere but we will be back because the cat is family and family got props. Just a heads up on finding this place. I was driving south on Colorado Blvd and had to slow up to catch the driveway. So maybe drive slower than I do. read more

Update: Jeremy the practice manager returned my call and informed me there was no reason they could not refill my dogs RX. He sent me prescriptions for both meds and apologized for the behavior of the front desk staff I have been taking my dogs here for the last 13 years. I love the Vets at this office. I have an issue that need to be addressed and after dealing with two very rude front desk people over the phone who refused to give me their names, probably because they didn't want me to single them out when I discuss this matter with the vet.In March of 2021 Eastlake referred my dog to a cardiologist he was seen and had an echocardiogram done and was put on medication.The cardiologist sent the report to Eastlake. 6 Months later went to follow up with cardiologist who said he was doing well and instead of doing another echo he sent me back to Eastlake for blood work which Eastlake completed and sent results to cardiologist In December my dog was seen for a sore on his foot and during that appointment we discussed his heart and vet listened to it and told me he was doing well. I called the cardiologist for a follow up appointment they said since he was doing well that I could just see his regular vet and they could refill his RX I have an appointment for a physical exam May 24 but he would run out of meds before then. I called to get them refilled at Eastlake and shortly after received a text that they were ready for pick up. However the cost was 3 times what the online pharmacy was. So I asked them to call it into the online pharmacy..I was told the pharmacy would need to contact them for the refill. I called the pharmacy they said they do not call for refills gave me my account number and the number for Eastlake to call it in. Eastlake said their vet techs are too buy and actually it would be illegal to call in the RX even though they were willing to fill it in house. I asked to speak with the manager which they refused and told me the Practice manager Jeremy would call me.I am still waiting for a call from the manager Jeremy and would appreciate a call so I can resolve this issue. read more

Worst experience I've had with a vet. Random charges for staff assistance, staff was extremely rude when walking in, and kept chatting with each other while we stood there. They said they have "phone issues" but every time I called to make a follow up appointment no one picked up. Made an appointment through email finally and when I showed up for the appointment they said it wasnt made. We initially went in for a growth on my dogs arm and Felt the vet didn't even listen to our reasoning for being there. I would highly recommend NOT going to this place. I took my old cat in on monday and paid $400 for tests and they said he had a kidney infection. I paid an extra $77 for the antibiotic and was hopeful he would get better. By friday he had really gone down hill and I knew it was time to put him out of his misery. I made an appointment to euthanize hime. We waited while they took their sweet time. Meanwhile after asking 3 times for a dr the poor cat died on the table gasping for his last breath. My God it was AWFUL to watch! Finally after my poor baby was dead the dr comes in and looks at the chart and says oh yeah the cat had kidney FAILURE!!! Thats a lot different than an infection! They were just milking me for more money knowing my poor kitty was suffering. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS VET!!!! If there was a no star rating on Yelp that would be my choice but since that is not an option I had to pick one star. read more

I took my dog in for the follow up and supposed to get just a refill. The doctor glanced at my dog really quick and gave me 8 weeks of the antibiotics, then I got charged for $46! (not the medication fee) We knew what was going on with him, just needed to get refilled. She didn't spend even 5 min, and I thought the follow-up was no charge unless it gets involved with more testing. She said she needed to charge for her time even though she didn't touch my dog. We spent about $350 for all testing stuff last time. I found a better and reasonable vet in commerce city area, so I'm glad I moved on without any regret. I don't recommend this place to anyone. read more

I called this business to ask for accommodations for my adult son with a disability. I wanted to ask permission for him to wait outside for a FlexRide pickup. They refused to even consider my request, claiming that the Flexride would block their customers access in the parking lot. This is simply not likely to happen and by refusing to be cooperative they show how ignorant they are of the needs of the disabled community and the spirit of the ADA. Our cats, Ellis, Helton, and Vinny have been patients at Eastlake since late 2006. In early March, 2008, we brought in our cat Helton because she had lost a significant amount of weight. Dr. Tracy ran blood tests, and called us back a few days later to let us know that the blood tests indicated that she had FIP. He told us that she would live four to six months, and prescribed a steroid for the time being. I began to research FIP and when I compared her results with typical results for FIP, there was no clear cut sign that what she was suffering from was FIP. Dr. Tracy told me that her diagnosis was based on the high FIP titer, but all research has shown that FIP cannot be diagnosed based on the high titer alone. A week later, we brought Helton for a second opinion with a specialist at Alameda East Veterinary Hospital. It was determined after a series of tests and xrays that Helton was suffering from a kidney stone as well as hypercalcemia of unknown etiology. The stone had caused about 25% damage to her kidney and needed to be removed to save the kidney. She underwent surgery on April 23rd and is now recovering, but will be on a lifelong renal diet as well as medication to control her hypercalcemia, and fluids to regulate her blood levels. We are very upset with the lack of thoroughness on Dr. Tracy's part and the misdiagnosis Helton received. Had we not pursued a second opinion, Helton likely would have died in four to six months from kidney failure and low body weight. Her disease is treatable now, and she could live many more years with us. Because of this unfortunate incident, we will be changing veterinary providers for all of our cats. Prior to this incident we were satisfied with the care our cats received, but we do not want to risk the safety of our cats at this facility any longer. read more

Had a horrible experience. I had my daughter drop off my cat. Receptionist didn't want to talk to my daughter, she said she wanted to talk to pet owner and I said my daughter was the pet owner. When both of my cards were declined I gave them $17, instead of the $53 to run the blood. I said I would have to use my daughter's money and said I was a terrible person. After 18 years of loyal service I can't believe they couldn't offer a payment plan. I had already just paid over $100 for the visit and a shot of antibiotics. I live right across the street and calling and staying in your car for 45 minutes is terrible! So my daughter paid or else they would not run the test. I told her I suffered from a medical condition and had been out of work. She told me she didn't want my life story and to go to a low cost place instead. I don't want to go to another place far away. They shouldn't drive clients away. read more

After rescuing my 5 week old puppy from a terrible rescue I found this place and instantly it felt comfortable. When the pup started having diarrhea we took him to for a fecal. After having 2 parasites, 2 cases of round worms, 7 dewormers and over 400 dollars later he still had diarrhea. I decided to get a second opinon. I took him to the community pet hospital and they were more than helpful. They did a fecal exam and set up an 8 week plan to make sure my pup was taken care of. Turns out he had no worms or parasites. His food was to much for his under developed stomach to handle. What concerns me the most was that after 5 fecal exams and 7 dewormers the vet at eastlake didn't even ask to do another physical exam. Its like I become a burden to them. I started reciving attitude when I would call to talk to someone and I would ask for help as to what else I can be doing I was told take him potty more and feed him pumpkin. I don't know about anyone else but I have a job I can't be home every day all day to take him potty more. And I would have loved feed him pumpkin if he would have ate it. In the midst of all this I wanted to try their dog grooming. So when I made the appointment days in advance and brought him saturday morning It was a mad house! So many people not enough staff. When I called to ask about when he will be done I was told well we close at 2. So not only did I not get an answer I was just supposed to be there at 2 when my dog could have been done at 11. After I dropped him.off in the morning I got all the way home and was called to come get him becuase they made a mistake and over booked. I made them groom him. All and all I am very disappointed in this place. Its very unorganized and everyone has a bad attitude. I DO NOT reccomend this place . Cph is a lot more expensive but I spent 230 and fixed the problem compared to 400 and still had issues. read more

The vet who saw our dog did not seem to care that there was a 13 pound weight loss since her last check up. She ordered blood work but didn't bother to call back for a week later. She then wanted to do an xray a week later when the dog was very ill and urged us to go to an emergency clinic because she couldn't tell if anything wrong in the xray. At this point the emergency clinic immediately found the issue, did exploratory surgery but was too late to save our dog. If this vet cared about animals, she would have made an effort to figure out what was wrong rather than wait a week to do anything. Save your pets life and go to a different vet. read more

We really like Dr Keiger at EASTLAKE ANIMAL CLINIC. Very sweet, intelligent and down-to-earth. Really knows his stuff and tells it like it is -no trying to convince you you need to pay for all kinds of unnecessary stuff. When he really feels a test or procedure is necessary, he'll tell you that, too, and explain why in lots of detail if you want- and I usually do. Best vet we've had in years! The staff is really pleasant and helpful, too. So happy we found them! read more

I was warned about this place and everything that was said was true... I forgot the Lady's name that I had, but she was one of the rudest Vets I have ever been around. When she first came in she immediately had an attitude because my dog just got a heart worm test done which means he had something jabbed up his ass...Needless to say my Puppy was not happy about it and was very vocal and crazy in the back. When she walked in and saw that he was sitting very close by me, her comment was "Wow...Someone has some serious Mommy Issues" She continued to be rude and very rough with my dog the rest of the time. I will NEVER recommend this place and I will absolutely be seeing someone else! read more

We had been taking our cat and dog here for many years. Over time the front office staff has become more abrasive and unprofessional in their tone and willingness to help. They often make me wrong for not doing things the way they request it or expect me to. My only complaint about Dr Miller is that she insulted me when I had concerns about what to feed my greyhound, she said, "he's just a dog!" That is just not right!! I have transferred my pets to another vet. read more
