Location is easy to find. The staff are friendly and accommodating. My baby girl comes home so adorable!

I have used Calae's Pet Resort and they definitely have long dog runs with separate inside and outside sections. The owner is very knowledgeable and I trust her and her facility implicitly. The kennel always smells clean whenever I've been there. So unless the previous reviewer's dog was incontinent, I find it hard to believe that it smelled of urine. I was referred to Calae's Pet Resort by a gentleman working at Home Depot, which I always trust a personal recommendation as opposed to a anonymous review. So don't take anyone's word on it, check them out yourself and I'm sure you will be as happy as I am with their service. read more

Great service. Accommodating and very personable. I have taken my dogs here for boarding and grooming. I really appreciate that they can groom my dogs at the end of their boarding before I pick them up. I actually haven't utilized the service together in that fashion yet but it sounds wonderful. I am usually pretty tired at the end of the trip so it will be nice to pick up clean dogs next trip out of town. read more

So far so good. Our Large 160 pound Cane Corso loves it there. I wish people would not see him as big aggressive dog but a big teddy bear!

I just picked my dog up after keeping him here for 4 nights. This place is fair priced and the staff was nice when I dropped off and picked up. If you've never been and call the place but don't get an answer..this happened to me several times and it's because the phone is in one room away from where the dogs are kept so when they don't answer they're busy taking care of dogs. My energetic dog came back clean and super tired (in a good way)! My dog came back perfectly healthy and I will be taking him again next vacation! read more

Caring staff but Located on a busy HWY. Business is expanding, with construction of several new buildings. My dog was a challenge to groom but mistakes were made when grooming my dog, I had found,in the past, clipper/scissor cuts on my poodle. My pup also had an incident of some soap/chemical in her eye, she wouldn't open her eye for two days. Then on December 23, 2010 thru some handling errors my dog escaped out of their care and ended up on HWY 7- got hit by a car and died. This was a preventable accident. read more

I recently boarded my dog here while away. They called 3 days into trip and said dog escaped. They looked for part of a day and claimed they "had a business to run" and couldn't search any longer. They spent more time deleting negative reviews and doing damage control than searching. 10 days later we found our dog, no thanks to them. They care about your money but have no professionalism. Don't entrust your family member with them. read more

I understand the trauma that losing a pet generates. In this situation the escape was not caused by carelessness or a lack of attention. This boarding facility is one of the best places for our pets as the owner truly loves animals. This was an incident in which a dog's instinct took control. The facility staff instantly responded to the situation. My pets have escaped and led me on wild chases too. To try to destroy a kennel based upon this event that was caused by a dog's instinct is not the answer. I will continue to highly recommend Kathy Adams as her facility is one of the best in Colorado due to her ownership read more

Would not recommend Calae's. There safety procedures are not good. They let our 12 lb. dog that was there to get groomed get attacked by a 120 lb. mastiff that was there to be boarded. We were lucky she didn't get killed. read more

My Bernese Mountain dog stayed there over a weekend. They sounded really nice and understanding on the phone but when I came to pick him up he completely REAKED of urine. They told me that they were going to put him in a nice pen that had inside and outside portions, however this was CLEARLY not the case. DO NOT board your dog here. I wish I would have read the review where they let some dog get out, and die from wondering out onto a busy highway. They will say anything to get your business, do not listen to them! read more

I have used Calae's for a year and I love it there! I recently moved to Nebraska and come back just to bring my dog there to get groomed! I would recommend this place to anybody. She specializes in all breeds. The shop is always very clean and you can tell that she makes it a priority to make her shop look nice. Definitely try this place out! read more

Kathy was recommended by a dear friend and mentor to groom one of my pups. My dogs mean the world to me and I typically groom them myself but I'm so so glad I found Kathy! She is truly a special wonderful person with a caring heart and a passion for what she does! I've stayed many times while she groomed my boy breaker to learn from her and help her brush her dogs getting ready for shows and the kindness and gentleness she shows is astounding. I've been in the boarding kennels as well and they are clean, well maintained, and all of the dogs are happy and relaxed. I never board my dogs but I have sent my puppy to spend the night with Kathy when I had to work so she could show him for me... he almost didn't recognize me the next day and I'm pretty sure he wanted to go back with her! I'm truly grateful for finding this amazing place- I drive over an hour to get here and I will continue to do so. I don't feel like another client I feel like a member of the family when I'm here! read more

For the past 8 years Calae's Pet Resort has been the groomer and boarder of my dogs. The owner, Kathy Adams, is both knowledgeable and friendly. Both my German Shepherd and my Maltese/Poodle have received nothing but the best of loving care each time we have them groomed or board them. The dogs are always groomed and sweet smelling when we pick them up. Kathy has even gone so far as to find an ear infection in one of my dogs and refer me to a vet for treatment. I won't bring my dogs anywhere else. read more

I love Calae's Pet Resort. Kathy the owner saved my dog. She is very knowledgeable with dogs and their behaviors. I had my dog stay there while moving to different houses. One day I picked him up to take him to the fields to be with him. While taking my dog for a walk he kept throwing up foam. When I got back I told Kathy what was going on. She looked at him, felt this bump on the left side that she thought was his intestines and recommend I take him to the vets because his stomach could be turning, and I if so there's an hour window of deciding to save him. I took him straight to the vet. Sure enough she was right about everything. My dog had to go straight to surgery. The vet confirmed his stomach turned, that the bump on the side was his intestines sticking out because of the stomach turning, and that when this happens owners only have a small window to get them into surgery if they want the dog to survive. If my dog did this at home I would of just had him lay down hoping he would get better. There's no other place I trust than Calae's Pet Resort for my pet. My dog loves it there and with the friendly knowledgeable staff I know he's in good hands. I have been using Calaes pet resort for over 2 yrs now but after Kathy saved our dog last month I am forever thankful and highly recommend boarding your pet here! read more
