It's changed. As many of the older post note, they staff use to be amazing, the service (photos of…read moreyour pup during The day) and programs (included free dog trainings during daycare; costume parties; raffles; etc.) exceptional, but all that changed in the past few months. I first noticed my dog was coming home with tons of energy when it use to be he crashed as soon as he was in the door. Then the daily text messages with pics of my pup unexpectedly stopped. Where it use to be every holiday or sport season was celebrated with dog costume photo shoots or other events, none have occurred in over two months. The last straw was when I picked up my pup last week and he reeked of dirty dog kennel. If anything, the dogs previously always smelled of whatever flowery odor powder they would spray on them before. During one pickup I was told a team from Austin were training at the location. Then two weeks later all the staff I knew were gone and I was told the franchise was under new ownership. While the new family owners are nice, the whole shop seems understaffed and drastically changed. I was willing to pay the high amount they charge because the pup was happy and the services were over the top, I'm now looking for another location that is either the same high level service the shop use to be or the current service level at a more appropriate price.

The care and compassion Dr. Steve and staff have shown has always been amazing. (Dr. Tina is really great, too, but we have only seen her a few times, including my dog's recent euthanasia and she was very kind and caring.) Steve takes his time, manages your pet's care realistically and fairly and always follows up. There have been many evenings he has called well after-hours and he hasn't seemed hurried or bothered, but rather concerned and available. One thing about this clinic is that they have kept their prices fair and within your budget. I think they have to charge what the lab charges them and there isn't much they can control. Their pharmacy program is helpful and cost savings, too. I recommend them to everyone.

Dr. Steve is an excellent veterinarian -- one of the best I have had -- but the practice he…read moreoversees has serious operational issues. On one visit, my dog had to have her blood drawn twice due to a staff mistake. At the very next visit, she was given the wrong vaccine, which is a medical error that should never happen. The front‑desk experience is also consistently poor, with long hold times and dismissive behavior when concerns are raised. I respect the veterinarian, but the clinic's staff training and procedures are unreliable, and after two consecutive errors involving my dog's care, I cannot continue bringing her here. They could have killed my dog with the sloppy vaccination mistake.

I walked into a clean and organized waiting room. I didn't wait too long to see Dr. Lyndsay Baxter, DVM. She was very knowledgeable and patiently answered my concerns. I trust them to give me credible information and to thoroughly assess my pet's needs. They have great systems and availability and are willing to get you in on short notice. They keep great records and follow up after treatments and go the extra mile. They helped us with our Lucy as she neared end of life and were incredibly compassionate and even affordable. My only singular frustration is that I feel like I'm being upsold something every time I go in. Always something else to increase the bill. They may not see it like that but it never fails that there is some sort of upsell or extra need. Never once have they said, hey your pet is doing great and nothing more is needed. Heart worm treatments. Teeth cleaning. Dog food. Extra this, extra that. I really struggle with this.

This is the LAST STRAW, and potentially a FATAL one, at that. We have been suspecting lymphoma for our dog and it has been 3.5+ weeks since we started this discovery process and we had to follow up several times to get work up done, get results and 4 procedures later, we still do not know for sure. Doctors don't reply to emails and results are not communicated timely, even after follow ups. There is a huge back office issue in continuity of care. We've raised this so many times and it just keeps happening. It boils down to POOR MANAGEMENT. There is no sense of urgency. His illness could be aggressive and this 3+ week delay could be a MATTER OF LIFE AND DEATH. We are at week 4, and we are moving to another vet office and still have not done any definitive treatment! We've been encountering a lot of back office issues with them for 3+ years and THIS IS THE LAST STRAW. WE ARE SO UPSET because this is not how you run a medical practice! The owner also cannot be bothered to check-in nor investigate. Just STAY AWAY. This is literally the worst VET office we've worked with. Absolutely TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE. They have also poked and prodded our dog more than necessary. We also run a medical clinic. This is NOT how you run one. It is safe to say that they clearly just want you to keep paying more and more. I can't say "TERRIBLE" enough. Save yourself the heartache and stress and stay away. We are pulling all 3 dogs from this incompetent office. The cherry on top is they even botched sending over our records to the new practice, thrice. We had to ask twice and The receiving practice had to contact them again just today since they sent it incorrectly. They're consistent with their errors. That's for sure. IF YOU LOVE YOUR DOGS, SAVE THEM, BY NOT GOING TO THIS NEGLIGENT PRACTICE ______ Previous review Very expensive compared to most clinics I've been with ---by a LOT. I usually don't mind spending on my pets because they are my world (!), but the prices are too much and they keep upselling you on non-essential services. I don't feel like they are looking out for dog owners and keeping expenses reasonable. They offer every test, every supplement, or procedure instead of providing practical guidance to avoid unnecessary expenses. The staff are great and extremely caring with dogs. I have mixed feelings because I usually spend on average, between $200-$600 per visit here! .
