And we have had people trimming these mango, avocado, and puakenikeni trees for over 35 years! We will call Rocky from now on for any project like this. So grateful.

I needed help. I contacted Lee once I yelped who was available. I chose him since he was in the Ewa area. We were able to talk on the phone and meet up about what needs to be done. He gave me a pretty reasonable estimate and was able to do the work the next day. I went ahead and gave my deposit and he and his crew got to work. Lee was awesome. All I wanted was that pesky tree gone for good. He went above and beyond. He removed it all the way from the roots and he covered it all with stones that matched the original stones I put on years ago. The patio was like a graveyard of junk; He made it look like a brand new patio area! Gone is the embarrassing jungle of a lanai and tada! It's a clean slate once again! Thank you Lee! Overall, it was really easy to work with Lee. He was very professional and kept in touch through the process. He called when the work was done and I was amazed about the transformation. We are still not sure how it made its way into our yard, but the damage happened fast and the tree was gone within three weeks. Nick is one of the most knowledgeable arborists we have ever met. He quickly came out to inject the affected tree and spray the surrounding trees to stop the spread before the beetles could take over our entire yard. We are so grateful for his quick action. Nick and his team did an excellent and thorough job trimming our five trees in a single day, as well as removing the dead Schefflera tree, which was already rotting from the inside. That tree had been part of our yard for 25 years, so losing it was heartbreaking. It has now been a month and we have not seen any more active beetles, so we are crossing our fingers it stays that way. Casey, their coordinator, was also amazing and always quick to respond and get us scheduled right away to help stop the spread. We truly appreciate the entire team and highly recommend them.

The tree cutters did the job in my absence after a briefing about my concerns. When I returned they had done everything they were NOT supposed to do and missed the main reason for why they were there. How is it even be possible to miss such a major mark and do the opposite of what the job report stated? Is this company really professional? The location that they slaughtered is a featured and beloved spot at the property. We used to do magical photo shootings there, have meals in lush beauty and calm privacy. Now...there is nothing of all that left, ALL the branches are gone and there is full view into my private space. How long does it take for a banyan tree to grow back it's main trunks? That's how long I will have to wait to reclaim my favorite place. Shame on these tree cutters. Shame shame shame!!!!!

They were professional, respectful of our property, got the job done safely and quickly. We were fortunate these folks were willing and able to assist us with the prompt assessment and removal of a problematic tree on our property line. In fact - they went above beyond! In addition to removal of the felled tree, they also removed a few pesky offshoot trees, old shrubbery, and previously cut branches that were in the way. Mark kindly included this additional work in the original price! Truly an excellent value for their service, and we would not hesitate to recommend them for any job requiring a licensed arborist. As a side note: Please do yourself a big favor and go with a professionally licensed (and insured) arborist, not an amateur handyman. I have been seeking people and services to do this job for a while, and there's some shady folks out there. I'll tell you from experience: a $5k quote from some guy in a pickup truck just to cut down the tree is NOT the way to go. (Mark and crew did that AND removed the tree for disposal ...for LESS!) Said person couldn't even produce a business card, let alone proof of a business license. Hey, buddy - just because someone in the neighborhood had you do some handy work for them, it DOES NOT mean you can safely fell a 2 story tall tree that's less than 10 feet from our roofline. Also beware of lowball offers from some guys driving around the neighborhood. If anyone gets hurt or something goes wrong - bad times. It's worth the price for having the job done right when you have a contract with a reasonable professional.

When the date came i had to take off work to drive up to the North Shire to meet with him, however he did not show up at our agreed upon time. When i called him to see if he was late, Jon said he "got busy and forgot to call..." Then Jon joked about missing our previously agreed upon appointment thinking it was no big deal that I had to take off work to drive an hour to go meet him. Very unprofessional. He said hat he would come out and give me a super discount for doing the tree, since he totally flakes on me, so I decided to call him back a few weeks later, he answered the phone, said he was busy and that he call me back, of which, he never did. I proceeded to leave him four other messages over the same number of months and he just keeps ignoring my phone calls, and never return a call, a text message or an email. There are other PLENTY of more reliable tree trimmers out there that will do just as good work and actually be professional and return calls. Really disappointed in Jon and his lack of respect for his customers. It's not the type of service we were looking for and certainly had no respect for our time.

TBH, I was only expecting to pick up a few sheets of grass, but to my surprise and deep gratitude he was kind enough to give me a lot more sheets and again apologized for the last order. Sean and Hawaiian Turfgrass definitely understand the importance of word of mouth referrals and customer appreciation. Again much Mahalos to Sean for responding so quickly, being a generous and shrewd business owner, and continuous success to you!!!!!
