Wonderful resource! I called Steve about the tree in my front yard. Even though he knew I did not need his services, he went ahead and provided me with helpful information to maintain my tree's root system etc. Thank you for your time and important information. Robin read more

I have two Queen Palms on the patio of my condo that I needed trimmed. I suspect that the fronds hanging over the roof have been sweeping the rooftop gravel onto my patio which has been driving me nuts! I hadn't maintained these trees in the two years I've lived here and figured it was time. I called around for some quotes and Steve's was the only reasonable one. I would give 5 stars but the communication in the beginning was a little off. When he sent a guy to come look at my trees (same day I called), they called me 3 times and texted that if I give the go ahead right then, they'd trim them for $95. However, I was at work unable to pick up the call and they had already left when I called back. So, we scheduled for Saturday and he upped the quote to $100 to have to drive back. I thought that was a little silly, considering I wasn't looking for same day service. He showed up on time, did a wonderful job, answered my questions and went above and beyond for me, cleaning my whole patio up from the gravel mess. They look wonderful and now I don't have to worry about how icky they look- my neighbors are also probably relieved to not have to look at dead trees :) I will be using AAA's services for maintenance and possibly future landscaping. read more

Aaa Tree Care - Before on the top- lots of dead fronds, fronds hitting my roof. Bottom- nicely shaped up! - Landscaping Near Me

Steve came out first to consult on trimming back two big trees an Ash and a California Pepper. The next day Robert came to give the final price and the following day they came out and got the job done. I'm very happy of how quickly they responded and the great job they did. Robert gave the crew directions and worked hard and efficiently. Their prices are very reasonable too. I highly recommend them! read more

I have never, ever left a negative review. But if I could give zero stars, I would. It started out fine. Contacted through Yelp, called on the phone, left a message. A nice guy called back and took my information, but couldn't really give me any details on services available (he said he just collected the leads and that the project manager would call me back). Same day, Robert calls me back, comes to our home, and quotes me on what I'm looking for -- four small palm trees, one small dead tree, and two hibiscus bushes removed. Says his guys can come back the next morning, Thursday, at 7:30 AM to handle the work. It's early, especially with a baby and a full-time job, but I'm excited to get this done. 7:30 Thursday rolls around, then 8:30, then 9:30. I give Robert a call wondering where the guys are, and his voice mail box is full. He calls back quickly, no big deal, and apologizes and mentions a morning emergency, then promises the guys will be there between 4 and 5 PM to handle the job. 4 PM passed by, 5, 6, 7, and it's clear they're not coming. Friday morning I call Robert back. He apologizes again. Promises, again, that his guys will be there by 5 PM and will handle the work. Says I don't even have to be home and that he'll call back later for the check payment. This is great, because I already spent all day on Thursday waiting for them. I returned home at 8 PM on Friday evening, and surprise surprise, no one had been there. It's now been over 48 hours since my original appointment. It's been almost 24 hours since I was last promised service. AAA, even if you do call me back, at this point, I'm uninterested in supporting your business. It's a shame. You not only lost a customer by treating me very, very poorly, but you also jerked around a working mother who adjusted her entire schedule around you, twice. Rude. read more

I have known Steve the owner of AAA Tree Care for about 36 years now. He is a man of integrity and professionalism in all the jobs he tackles for his clients. He's come a long way from just mowing lawns, he's elevated himself by becoming 'certified' in the areas of service he needs to take care of the job he's being called upon to perform your next job. Voices R Us Productions recommends AAA Tree Care for your next tree need and sprinklers installations. Paul L. Westminster, CA read more

We had two trees damaged from the high winds. We called Steve and his team came right out and did an excellent job pruning and cleaning. The trees never looked so good! They were super friendly and professional and we will definitely use and recommend them in the future. read more

Yvonne C. We have a Melaleuca tree that needed to be trimmed. It was quite overgrown and a leaner. We had not called anyone for fear of the tree being hacked. So we called an Arborist by the name of Steve at AAA Tree Care. After extensive conversation we felt that Steve was the guy to address our beloved tree. His personal attention and hand trimming of our tree was masterful. Steve knew that we were nervous for the outcome so he really took his time hand trimming and sculpting our tree. It turned out beautiful. Neighbors have stopped by and complimented the process and the final result. Steve also trimmed some very large Silver Sheen and fruit trees on our property. Steve is very knowledgable and takes great pride in his trade. We are very pleased! Thank you Steve! Our tree looks beautiful! read more

Came out the same day, on a Saturday! Worked quickly and efficiently! Cleaned up beautifully! Steve knew a thing or two about trees and those things that grow outdoors! Gave a fair price! Will use again next time my HOA yells at me about my garden, which is all the time. Thanks for reading! read more

Steve is honest, nice and informative. He stays at the job site, either doing it himself or instructing the others. He doesn't drop off some workers and take off, like other companies do. Our next door neighbor used him also. We are all very happy with the way the trees look. His rates are very reasonable also. read more

HONEST! Steve is first and foremost HONEST. I am still in a little shock about how fantastic Steve and his crew were. If you don't call him - you are doing yourself a disservice. I called Steve on Saturday to get a quote, he was at our house 30 minutes later. He called Sunday to see if Monday would work. Then, bright and early...Monday his crew is at my door ready to go. They were completed by lunchtime and the work was impeccable. The crew was timely, courteous, friendly, incredibly hardworking and you can't beat the price --nor the honesty factor (I'll get to that.) Two of the trees that were removed, we opted to have them cut the stump at the ground level instead of grinding it -- which they did perfectly. One of the trees that was removed needed to be pulled out by hand. This crew had that 'beast of a root ball' pulled up and out of the hill within just a few hours-- and due to the slope, they cut it, dug it and pulled it all out by hand. One of our trees is on death's door -- branches are dead and the tree is seriously on life support. But with Steve's direction, this tree is most likely going to bounce back this spring. Seriously if his expertise doesn't do it...nothing could. Lastly, Steve is 100% an honest man (such a great quality). I had misunderstood the initial quote by $100 in his favor and when I went to pay him, he told me so. He has a customer and referral for life. Thanks for reading (and thanks for being awesome Steve + crew!!) read more

We hired Steve to remove a large tree in our backyard. After getting in touch with him, he came out the next morning (on a Sunday) to give us a quote. This is after getting a referral from a friend whose guy was late to an appointment with us after I rearranged my schedule to meet with him. When we met with Steve, we immediately got a good vibe that he knew what he was doing. It helped that he owns OC Sprinkler so if there was an issue with removing the roots of the tree, he would fix it. Pricing was as we expected - fair and reasonable. We ended up having him trim several of our other trees. They did a great job - my willow no longer looks messy and sad! Really impressed with the service and the crew. Thank you, Steve and Robert! read more

After a few flaky experiences with other tree services, I found AAA Tree Care here on yelp. Steve was a real pleasure to work with! He came the very next morning to do a quote, and had his crew show up that very afternoon to do the job. I had a total of 8 fairly large king palm trees removed and hauled away for a fair price. Steve has earned any future business and my referral! read more

It had been a year and a half since we last had our trees trimmed, and after using the services of lawn care gardeners in the past with sometimes mediocre results, it was time to seek out a professional. I searched Yelp, and after reading several favorable reviews I decided to give AAA Tree Care a call. When Steve first came to our home to provide a quote I found him to be friendly and knowledgeable. He took the time to listen to what I hoped to accomplish and provided helpful insight and suggestions about our trees. From that conversation I knew I had made the right call. A few days later Steve and his crew arrived as scheduled and began their work. They were efficient, courteous, and performed the job with high standards. I was appreciative that Steve took extra time to make sure the work was to our satisfaction. Also while they were there, Steve noticed we had an old tree stump in the backyard that had never been removed. Even though it wasn't discussed in the original quote, he offered to remove it at no cost. After pulling out the stump he patched the hole with dirt leaving it as if nothing was ever planted there. I found that to be a really kind gesture. In the end the trees looked great and Steve's crew left the areas tidier than when they had arrived. My wife and I were very pleased. Thanks again Steve to you and your team for a job well done. read more

Hired AAA Tree Care to trim up 5 trees, pull an old tree out and pull out some scrubs. Couldn't not be more happy about the entire project. His crew did a great job of also cleaning up after the project. On time and a fare price. Looking forward to useing them for other landscape projects. read more

Steve is absolutely professional and honest. I had a very small job that likely wasn't worth the drive for him, but he came out and fixed my problem around my very busy schedule. Very knowledgeable about his craft, I have a bigger project coming in a couple months and I will for sure go back to him. I know how tough it is to find someone you can trust, but Steve definitely has mine. read more

I had a small palm tree that needed to be removed from a front yard planter. I contacted Steve for a quote and he responded within minutes. His quote was competitive, so I asked how soon we could get the work done. He was onsite within a couple of hours and the tree was quickly removed and he left the area cleaner than when he arrived! He even noticed that one of our sprinkler heads was broken and replaced it without charge. Steve and his crew were extremely responsive and very professional. He also did the job (and went above and beyond) for a very good price! I highly recommend AAA Tree Care! read more

These guys are awesome! Called them Ina Saturday morning for a quote and they came out in less than an hour, quoted us a great price and started work by 2pm same day. It's only 5pm and they are already done and performing the wood chipping and clean up. They were efficient, professional, friendly, and just all around awesome. Highly recommended read more

I called AAA tree care this morning with an urgent request hoping for same day service. I called a total of 5 companies, and STEVE was the only one that got back to me with a quick turn around. He jumped on the phone immediately to try to help us out and see what he could do. They've already shown great promise with the top notch customer service that Steve has shown. I'm beyond grateful for their willingness to accommodate me as that is a true rarity these days. If you're looking for a company that wants to work with you and go above and beyond to take care of you, look no further. We will definitely be calling them again in the future should we need their assistance again! Thank you so much Steve! You are a true gem! read more

Our red bud tree was ailing. I consulted a local nursery to no avail. Then I remembered that Steve Stoeckel does more than sprinklers; he's a master arborist. I expected excellent service, personal attention, and expert advice. And that's what we got. Thank you, Steve. Keni C read more

I love they gang at AAA Tree Care. I've used them several times over the last couple years. Steve is great: very knowledgeable, tells the 'really-real' stuff, and makes sound recommendations, not just the ones that make him more money. I've used them for sprinkler, landscaping, outdoor lighting, and tree/bush jobs. Steve made projects fit my budget, my timeframe, and my timing. His team was careful in my yard, protecting my flowers and other plants as they dealt with the job at hand. I especially liked how this last trip, after dealing with a minor sprinkler issue, I mentioned a bush that I needed to have removed, and Steve went to his truck, got the tools, and got busy! Affordable, responsive to my needs, trustworthy, and nice to work with it. That's what my 5-star experience included. I'll bet it will be the same for you! Give Steve a call. read more

I had my 2 large pine trees trimmed last Saturday and had a really good experience with AAA tree care. AAA Tree Care really exceeded my expectations. They came out to do a health assessment of the trees on our commercial property. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They took samples of leaves and photos to have analyzed. The reports we received from them were very detailed and well written. I gained a lot of knowledge about trees and the health conditions and causes of ailments in trees. I highly recommend AAA Tree Care. Lastly, for all the work they put in, their price was very reasonable. We will definitely be using them again! read more

These guys were great! Talked to Steve and Roberto to get a quote and time. They were ready to trim the tree even before i was ready (gotta love commitment)! I would highly recommend them for their speedy process but also great tree trimming skills. P.S. i have a pesky street tree that looses thousands of leaves when it goes dormant every year and they raked up my whole front yard and took the leaves with them as well, going out of their way to help my yard look even better! Very quick response and came out to work the full day the next day. Cleaned up the palm, overgrowth, and fallen tree for a reasonable price. Even suggested a few things to help the appeal for selling my house, much appreciated. My neighbor even asked him to trim their tree too after seeing the work they did on mine. Definitely worth speaking to and getting their quote! read more

I contacted AAA Tree care after I had a poor experience trying to get another tree contractor to do the work. The very next day after calling them to get a quote, Robert showed up in the morning and we walked around my property as I showed him what needed to be done, six trees cut down with stumps grinded down and 1 avocado tree trimmed back. Robert gave me a quote right there on the spot which was very reasonable and I agreed to have him do the work. He said he would be here by 7:30am on Nov 6th. The 6th rolls around and Robert and his crew were here at 7:20am SHARP. Immediately they go to work. During the entire time, the workers were diligent in thier work, puntual, respectful and were constantly working hard. Robert, who I assume is thier coordinator/supervisor would drop in from time to time to make sure things were going smoothly and answered any questions or concerns I had. I asked the workers if they could set aside some of the chopped up logs so I could make some backyard benches and they happily did so. They even pulled some logs out for my neighbor and carried them over to her house when she asked for some also, that was really nice of them. After the work, they cleaned up everything. All the branches, leaves, including ones that were there before they came, were cleaned up to a T. They made sure they cleaned up all the branches and leaves that fell on my next door neighbors property as well. Within a day, Im already getting compliments about how much more open and cleaner my backyard and front yard look with the trees removed. This was professional, outstanding work and I am very happy to have chosen AAA Tree care. Big Thanks to Robert and his crew and I will keep them in mind if myself, family or friends need future tree services or landscaping work done based on the great experience I had with them. read more

Called and spoke with Steve who sent out a worker for estimate. Worker arrived on time and was polite. Worker took photos of my palm for Steve and I was told Steve would go be me an estimate. Steve then called the next day wanting to come out and see the tree, a palm, for himself before giving an estimate. Steve came out and gave me a price which seemed fair so I told him I was good and asked when could he come out. Steve said he would call me back and schedule a time. Steve had also apparently dropped his phone in his coffee and spilled in his new truck. Steve asked for some paper towels to clean up the mess which I gave him and that led him for coning out and hoped to hear from him soon. Well, never got a call back and as I needed the work done I went elsewhere. Would not recommend him to anyone due to Hus flaky and unreliable behavior with me. read more

Words can't explain this company's service and work ethics. Steve is professional, full of knowledge and most importantly honest. There were several opportunities where he could have "upsold", but instead recommended servicing and replacement of parts that was much less expensive than replacing an entire unit and system. He and his team is patient, explains the process and committed to delivering outstanding results. I called him from other reviews on YELP and understand why his clinets take teh time to mention his great work to others. The greatest compliment one can get is a referral and I wish I knew more people with sprinller challenges to refer him more buisness. THANK YOU STEVE for doing what you do and serving the OC community. We are grateful to have met you. read more

Steve and his guys came out the very next morning and had all of them removed by digging them out after a couple hours. Excellent job and very reasonable price. I highly recommend their service. I used another company few months ago to remove other trees and I even had to call that crew to back to fix the sprinklers they broke and clean the mess they created.
