We recently moved to San Joaquin County and our van registration was due. I was pleasantly greeted when entering the AAA office and directed to the DMV area where all my needs were taken care of in a timely, friendly and professional manor. I was surprised to learn that the registration fee was different since I had moved from Alameda County to San Joaquin County. I needed to remove the lienholder from the title of my car. I was foolish to not notice that it was still on there for the past 10 years. I guess my loan company had failed to take care of it when I paid off my car, so I went to the trouble of obtaining a notarized release, which I got. So I made an appointment with DMV which I got about 30 days out. So I went to my AAA office in Tracy, I waited in line maybe 5 to 7 minutes, and the girl at the desk assured me she could take care of it. I didn't even have to show her the release. It was done in about 5 minutes. She was very friendly and efficient. I have a feeling that at DMV, after waiting a month, they would have found a reason to not be able to do it, after waiting 30 minutes even with an appointment. Leslie Sample worst customer service. The tone she gave me while talking to me was ridiculous it's a small location and mostly everyone in there was able to hear what me and her were talking about. She did nothing to help what so ever. Why is she there if she can't customer service or help the members stay with the insurance company she works with. read more

AAA in general, been to fremont, tracy, stockton, and dublin AAA and have always have great experience. there is nothing like AAA out there. Got awesome savings when traveling, and awesome discounts for themepark getaways-always get my registration stickers there with no issues. Way better than going to DMV thats for sure. Recently needed some comprehensive repair on my car and they took care of me with rental car, while my car is getting fixed. Didnt have to pay for that. Just paid for my normal deductible when fixing my car. I actually tried their online reporting/claim service for the comprehensive service due to blow out tire that damaged some body part and smog pump line and got a call from James Lindsey within 24 hrs. And i believe he is out of Nevada Area. So yeah thank you for outstanding service. read more

The worst customer service ever. I have been using AAA since the 90's. I had my Home and car insurance with and canceled because we moved and sold our home and have been waiting for the past month and a half to be reimbursed. I was told in December that it would take 7 -10 days to get our check. At the end of January (23rd) called to ask where it was. I was told we never canceled so had to do it all over again. I was told 7-10 days lol today is February 9 and was told it is in route. It got sent out February 2. So it took them -0 just to process it after the found out I already waited a month. From the first time I canceled it. So today when I asked to speak to manager I was put on hold and when I asked the name of the person I was talking to the gave me a fake name. So I guess what I'm saying is NEVER do Business with these people. Just imagine if they had to pay you the money from and accident. Thank you to Raelyn(fake name) Wish I got the name of the woman who never processed my cancellation in December and Deja who took her sweet time in January. It is February 13th did not get a phone call back from manager on Monday like I was told. Had to call today to here they supposedly sent the check to the wrong address and they are trying to figure out how to make it better. But even a funnier thing is I was told that I was called and they left a message yesterday. Lol but guess what no missed call no voice mail. If I could give a negative number I would. this place is the biggest joke ever. read more

The worst customer service ever! They have a sign in sheet when you walk in but nobody bothers to look at it and they just take whoever they want when they want. I've been sitting here over an hour and a man who just walked in got helped by Lisa whom I've been waiting to help me! This is BS! Can't wait to complain to the office manager.
