A short while later I got a call telling me C&L Towing had arrived, and already found my car on the parking lot without me needing to even show it. After her car accident they essentially held her car hostage , racking up unnecessary fees claiming they needed "paperwork" from the insurance company . No sooner did they get what they asked for - they changed their demands and said they needed more- refusing to release the vehicle. Even the insurance company was stunned at the obvious attempt to extract extra fees by creating unnecessary paperwork. And not from lack of contact. They were contacted every day from the day the car was towed there. I have no problem with a company trying to be compensated for their work provided. But this poor excuse for a business is milking it and in the process leaving an elderly (86) woman anxious, frustrated and without transportation. It's TAKING ADVANTAGE of the elderly and that's a CRIME. They must have a contract with the city of Avon because it's their police dept that called for the tow after her accident. The desk help is a miserable human. Just a nasty personality. I don't know who pees in her cornflakes every morning but as the face of the business- she's awful. Next stop is the better business bureau and the Avon police dept - they will get a full report on their shady business practices. Avoid this place like the plague !
