Went down To office to see if he could come back out and check. Was told sure for another $175. I asked what is cover in the $175 and he told me he doesn't know. I asked if anyone else could answer my question and he told me no. So you don't know what the $175 covers and if I want the resin looked at I have to pay another $175? The other company only gave me a price to replace the unit..$17k+...never even tried to diagnose the problem. I looked up reviews on Yelp for companies that service geothermal units and found Lakeside Service. Being a bit leery of reviews, I read some of them. I then called for a service appointment. They came out this morning (3/8/24) and actually opened the unit to see if it could be fixed. After about 15 mins, it was found that the capacitor that starts the compressor failed. The part was replaced and the unit fired right up. Total cost including service call: $300 Honesty in a business is everything. I cannot tell you how impressed I am with Lakeside Service. Now I know that everything wears out (my geothermal unit is 19 years old) but I can tell you that Lakeside Service has earned my business when that time comes to replace my geothermal unit. FYI..Lakeside Service also supports veterans..being one myself, that means a lot to me!

We called him to look at a broken lift pump, among other plumbing issues. He fit us into his busy schedule and made SURE to get the needed repairs done before we moved in (a week later). So far he has replaced the lift pump and updated its venting, replaced two toilets (that we purchased at Home Depot), and replaced a cold water faucet in laundry room. While he and his son were here working, Lowe's delivered our new appliances (fridge and stove) and the Lowe's guys could not seem to remove the old gas line from the former stove. Roberto to the rescue! Took him less than 5 minutes to get it hooked up and then he double checked the fridge water line and made adjustments to that as well. He also happened to be here on moving day and he hooked up our washer and dryer, and discovered that the dryer vent was put together backwards. He completely redid the venting for us. Honestly.
