We have had repeated issues with this company's technicians and no longer trust their service…read more During our furnace installation, the two techs failed to check for gas leaks, leaving our basement filled with gas -- a dangerous situation that could have ended very badly. We also caught them wandering around parts of our basement they had no reason to be in, and when questioned, they gave a vague excuse and walked away. A year later, during an HVAC check, a technician claimed our AC capacitor was "low" and could burn out and tried to sell us a backup. Capacitors are either within tolerance or failing -- there is no such thing as a "low" capacitor, and a backup is pointless because a failed capacitor must be replaced. We said we would replace it when it died. It's been checked since with no issues. During our recent spring check-up, a different technician, Marshall, told us our AC was "incompatible" with our coil and suggested installing a hard start kit. I questioned how that would fix incompatibility, he admitted it wouldn't and blamed it as a band-aid on a supposed "hack job" during installation. I said our house had been inspected with no issues of incompatibility of our compressor and the coil. He later returned with a completely fabricated story about our AC being a "special COVID-era unit" that was magically made to be universally compatible and we didn't need to worry about it. Our AC was installed in 2019, before COVID. His explanation made no sense. Then he randomly added that he remembered our refrigerant being low last time and that the recent install of our furnace must have solved that issue. Our refrigerant was never low and the install of the furnace would have nothing to do with the compressor. I felt like this guy thought that because I was female that I knew nothing and would believe his BS. He then attempted to upsell us on $3,000 worth of duct mastic sealing. I asked, why would we pay that when you haven't even verified that we have duct leaks? He said there was "no way" to test for duct leaks -- which is simply untrue. Also problematic is that he was training a new tech on this nonsense. This company is clearly not training their technicians properly and seems to encourage upselling over honesty. We will not be using them again and will be warning others to avoid them as well.

It was hard for me or the home warranty company that was also working with him to get ahold of him. Even after paying a service fee he refused to answer calls. He would only text hours later. When he WOULD respond, he was often dismissive and rude. He was also very lax about providing necessary information to move the process forward. He was so non-responsive that the home warranty company eventually had to drop him and chose a different company. The NEW company responded immediately, over the phone, even while in the middle of another job ON THE WEEKEND. They came out the same day. Turns out we'd been waiting on Cody for weeks but when the other maintenance worker arrived he just reconnected a few wires and it worked. What a SHAM. I'd be very cautious using this "service" company.

I would give a five-star review if they did not mess up with the second appointment, but overall, the experience was good, and it was definitely much more pleasant than my previous experiences with a few plumbers. They were hired for all air vents and a dryer cleanout on a 2,000 sq. ft. house, and particularly a bad smell coming in the laundry room. On the day of the cleaning Chris and Lee arrived during the agreed upon time window. I showed Lee around the house to the various vents and asked questions about the places I couldn't fully clear a path to the vent. The house's vents hadn't been cleaned during the time I've owned the place so it needed significant work. The same applied for the dryer. The cleaning took roughly 3 hours. I think they did a good job and made sure to take care of cleaning any messes their work caused. The one exception was the dryer blow-out which was left under the outdoor vent. My single gripe was that the final price ended up $100 over the original quote without discussion. However, it was clear that they had a lot of work to do that couldn't have been known without taking a look at things.

Many people in the community may recognize me as their former appliance service technician. I just finished working for this amazing company. AAA has allowed me to work full time while attending school to complete my degree and chase my dreams. I am a person who understands that not everyone who has received service is completely satisfied, and it is unfortunate. I have to speak from an internal point of view. The company (AAA) is extremely devoted to ensuring that everyone in the company is treated like family. Jim Smith (Appliance Service Leader) would cook lunch for his team every Friday, not because he had to or was instructed to, it was because he cared. The same compassion was shared through out the different departments. Stories that are never hear by the general public are those similar to that of the company covering a refrigerator repair for a wounded vet. Without any questions, the company fronted the money to take care of a brave soldier and his families refrigerator. Many of my customers have heard me say the words "I want to give you the opportunity to say no," when creating a list of options. I can understand when people say, "he tried to sell me a part I didn't need." I once believed that this was a terrible thing till I began looking at things from a different light. Maybe the individual is trying to save you money, time and headaches by fixing the item right the first time. The company is not about trying to get rich off their customers (they are lucky to make 10%) the company trains its technicians to work to find the solution for the customer. We had our furnace replaced by AAA in April. They were very polite, thorough, and professional. They also were very careful not to leave any trace of their work other than a very efficient furnace! They took the time to explain everything we needed to know about operation and maintenance. Not only were they professional and efficient, but the price was very affordable too! Then, when we turned on our air conditioner 1 month after the furnace installation. we found it was not working properly at all. Tim from AAA came to our rescue and not only fixed the problem, but cleaned it too! He tested everything to make sure it was running in optimal condition. By doing what he did, we will be saving on our energy bill too! And because we had used them for our new furnace, we got the air conditioner cleaned at no charge. Tim also took the time to explain everything he was doing, and was very polite as well. He also recommended replacement units for when the time comes. Have a Bosch dishwasher that the extended warranty company couldn't get someone to come fix (another story). Anyway I've used AAA in the past so I called and scheduled service. Super friendly right from the first call and was able to get Patrick out to take a look. He diagnosed the problem, ordered parts and it was back running in about a week. About 2 weeks later it just stopped working so I called again to schedule another service call. Again, very friendly on the phone and Patrick was back out in a couple of days and found the problem was a short in the wiring in the junction box and he had the parts on the truck. He fixed that problem and I went to get my check book. When I asked the amount he informed me no charge because they stand behind their work. GREAT customer service read more

Exceptional !! From the 1st phone call to the inspecting the completed work area FLAWLESS. It is rare today to see such teamwork displayed. After a horrible experience with another company whose only beneficial comment (after 4 hours) was…read morethat I needed a new furnace & new air conditioner, I called 3 more companies for quotes. I was by far the most impressed with Kristian. He had previously been an installer/technician but has recently become a sales person. He was extremely knowledgeable and personable; we actually enjoyed chatting too much! He explained to me that their company actually makes and installs new ductwork with their furnaces so that they don't have to retrofit what's already there. He was also the only one who noticed that my water heater was old and would need replacing soon. His quote was a bit higher than the other that I'd narrowed it down to, but I liked the Daikin furnace that he quoted because it has a very good reputation, the best warranty in the business and is environmentally friendlier than others. Additionally, rather than just doing a quote with line items, he attached pictures of each piece of equipment that would be installed, which I thought was a nice touch. I really wanted to go with him, but I had to think it over. In the meantime, I started to schedule a couple more appointments with other companies that offered 0% financing. I was going to wait to make my decision until I'd gotten the last quote or 2. But Kristian texted me on a SUNDAY NIGHT! to ask what he could do to help with my decision. I told him that if he could do 0% financing, I would go with him. He managed to arrange that for 12 months and I signed the contract that evening. Of course, this happened during an incredible heat spell, with temperatures in the upper 90s with matching humidity, so they couldn't get out as quickly as I'd hoped. When they were scheduled, Steve came out as the lead technician, with Brandon and Alex helping the first day and mostly just Brandon the second day. They got here at about 8:15 a.m. and didn't leave until about 7:30 p.m. BOTH nights! They worked super hard, hardly taking breaks at all, and they were short at that. Steve promised that they'd have the air conditioner working before they left the first night, and indeed, they did. It was the first time in over a week that I walked into a cool house. When Steve removed the furnace, he came upstairs and said that the water heater was about to blow, so I went downstairs to look at it. It was, indeed, bowing out. Kristian had already quoted a price but I was originally going to wait. But when I saw it myself (leaking, rusting and with a definite bubble), I texted him and told him I wanted that replaced as well. He was able to add it to the financing without a problem. So, in the end, I had a new furnace, humidifier, air conditioner, some ducts and a water heater installed. I have nothing but good things to say about this crew. They were all very kind, personable young men who knew what they were doing. I feel confident that I chose the right company to do this work.

A crew from Sharon's called before they arrived slightly earlier than scheduled. The workers were friendly and helpful in answering my questions. They also wore masks and shoe coverings as I requested. The installation was smooth and efficient. If the REME Halo-LED is installed by Sharon's you will also receive information to register for an extended limited warranty program from five to seven years. To get this warranty the REME Halo-LED has to be installed by a licensed contractor. I feel very fortunate to have won this air purifier system for my new house because the regular installation price would have been over a thousand dollars. However, the technician let me know after the visit that he forgot his camera scope and would have to return to check the airflow. I paid $231.39 to be told they can't yet diagnose my issues. And I would have to pay an additional $50 plus labor to have a return visit to bring his scope camera to check for airflow issues and a quote for the service, if discovered. I understand companies are looking for ways to stay afloat in this economy but taking advantage of customers is not the way to do it.

They originally installed my furnace but when I needed service today the owner, the same guy who…read moresold me the furnace and installed it, refused to wear a mask in my house even after I explained to him that my wife and I are both high-risk seniors! He left without providing service and I called another company who fixed my furnace, wearing a mask, within a couple of hours of calling them. Service shouldn't be political when you own a business. And decent human beings care about their customers, not just their comfort. I do NOT recommend climate tech. They lost my business over a stupid mask.

It's not the same business and my experience with Mastercraft was not good, just from basic customer service perspective. I made an appointment to troubleshoot a non-working AC. They said they couldn't give me a time window until the day of. So I called at 8:30 and the office told me should be afternoon maybe around 1. So I skip lunch figuring I'll grab something on the way over when I get the call. No call, so I end up eating only crackers. 4:30pm rolls around and I call and she says I'm next. Next, it's 6pm and the office is closed and I'm wondering if they're still coming or the tech ran out of time. So I call the after-hours emergency service and the on-call tech did call me back and said the tech is still coming. The tech calls me at 7pm and so I rush to the house to meet him and he gets there at 7:30pm. He diagnoses the problem in 2 minutes (no pressure, 20 year old unit, need new). And oh by the way they probably can't install a new one for another month. They're obviously very successful yet they can't be bothered to invest in a system to keep the customer informed when they're coming. Lucky I didn't take the day off work since I work close enough to rush home but it's just a basic lack of customer respect. Anyway bottom line is that Suburban no longer exists, it's just a name (now Suburban Mechanical) that forwards to another business. On the bright side, I found a small very capable business that was able to come out and schedule me within a week. I made an appointment for service this year they said they will come 8-12, at 1 o'clock nobody had showed up, when I called the lady on the phone said that she didn't know when the technician will come, I canceled and rescheduled it for January 23 with a window time of 8-12. at 2 o'clock nobody had showed up or called, when I called to see what had happened the person on the phone was very rude and said that she didn't know what time he was coming, when I asked at what time he will finish for the day, her answered was "until he finishes". i waited all day and nobody showed up or called. i called them today to talk with the owner because I really want to know why they don't want to come to my house when I have been such a good customer, no one called back. That is no the way they should treat customers, and for sure not a loyal customer like us.

Craig sent out a tech who evaluated the unit and determined repair costs. Craig then determined the new unit cost. Based on those numbers and the "rule of thumb" that if repair cost multiplied by age of unit equals more than $5,000 it time for a replacement, I will be getting a new Trane air conditioner. I believe Craig can be trusted.

I was charged to add refrigerant for a suspected pinhole leak instead of finding the leak. I was…read moreaware this wasn't a permanent fix but was led to believe I would get some life out of the fix. The fix failed immediately and i had to shut my unit off four hours after the tech left. I have called twice for a follow-up and the company has completely ghosted my calls. They tell me they will check with the tech and no call back. They installed this unit and have provided good service for many years up until now. Our plan was to have them check our furnace after vacation and then proceed with replacing the entire HVAC system later this fall or early spring. Apparently, they don't want my business and now I'm out $ for the "fix" they provided. They have lost there touch with loyal customers and instead prefer to make a quick buck.
