Chris is the owner and he explained things as he progressed along as well as answering any questions I had, plus it was just really nice visiting with him on other topics. They wore disposable booties, covered our newly tiled floors and cleaned up before leaving. Chris double and triple checked for any plumbing leaks before leaving as well. The invoice price was well within reason and the warranty on our disposal is fantastic.

STEVE'S WATERWORKS - RIP - OFF Called Steve's Waterworks out…read moreto deal with a residential sewer line that was backed up. The tech showed up, ran a camera and located a blockage and charged us $600. He then stated he would have to return with some additional equipment to clear the blockage. We were left waiting for 3 days with a blocked sewer. They finally showed up with the waterjetting machine and we were told it was going to be an additional $1200 to clear the blockage and jet the line. Their jetting machine broke and they failed to remove the root ball and were unable to complete jetting the line. They demanded we pay them the full $1200 which we regretfully paid on the spot. After their machine broke, their story changed to the root ball had damaged the line and it would have to be dug up and repaired and quoted us an additional $6000. They left the job and have ghosted us ever since. After no response for a week and half we contacted Doctor Drain, Inc. They came out and they were able to cut the root ball out and completely clean our entire sewer line and then showed us a full camera inspection proving that there was absolutely no damage. Doctor Drain showed us how to chemically treat the line to prevent regrowth of roots. Props to Doctor Drain for his honesty. Shame on you Steve's Waterworks, ripping off seniors like that.

Since I was going to have to hire a plumber I decided to have them install my new sink and dishwasher as well just so I knew it would be done correctly. I called them and set up a time to have them give me an estimate and possibly do the work same day but they needed to get some parts so they came back first thing the next day. Everything was done quickly and he cleaned up after. Final cost was the same as the quote but there wasn't much left as a surprise since we had the wall demo'd out. Since it was originally a diy project I did have a lot of the parts bought already. So my only note would be let him get the parts you need so they are under his warranty. But he was upfront that any parts he used that were purchased by me wouldn't be covered and I was ok with that as they were smaller parts. Not sure how his prices compare to others because I needed the job done quickly but from the estimate it seemed fair with the labor involved. I would definitely hire and recommend them in the future!

He charged $295--almost double the going rate in our area--and left the appliance non-functional. We had to unplug the garbage disposal every time we wanted to run the dishwasher. When I asked about it, his response was "hire an electrician." That's not acceptable when hiring someone to install an appliance. If he didn't have the right skill set, he should've been honest and charged only for a service call. A qualified appliance technician later charged $150 and corrected several serious issues: * Drain hose was too low, risking backflow * Dishwasher wasn't secured and tipped forward when the rack was pulled out * Electrical wires were capped but not boxed, which could be dangerous if exposed to moisture All of these were fixed at no extra charge, and the dishwasher now works perfectly. I would not recommend O'Plumbing for appliance installations.

I called a few places and no one had availability. Superior was my 3rd call and I spoke to Kevin. He spent probably 45 minutes with me on the phone, diagnosing the issue with my furnace - a faulty igniter. After he told me he probably didn't have one as my furnace is uncommon in Michigan (a Lennox), he directed me to a store where I may be able to find the part. I was able to find the part, and with his guidance, I was able to install the part and spent about $30 in total. This type of service may not have earned Superior any sales yesterday, but it earned them a customer for life.
