She understood my situation and said that they would get it done so I didn't get fined. She set up the appointment, She explained it would be after his other appointments but he would be here as quick as he could. The day of the appointment I really expected him to cancel due to the fact I think it was the worst weather day so far this year. It was wet, cold, and very windy outside. I relayed that I knew what the issue was and that it's a pretty routine fix, so I asked for an estimate based off of how much other similar jobs were. They kept giving me the run around and stuck me with a huge bill after the job without any idea of what to expect as a cost. I will never use them again as a result. WAY TOO EXPENSIVE compared to other services that would have done it for less. I won't be using them again. I usually never leave reviews, but they clearly were giving me the runaround because they expected to overcharge me. A lesson for me is to know that if someone doesn't give you an estimate or at least be willing to give you a range, don't trust them. They appear to charge $275/hour for a plumber's labor. I can't imagine that the job would have taken that long, because I've done the same thing myself in 20minutes. So, I believe that they likely lied about the time that it took.
