I guess "Brad" is to busy when specifically requested to handle repeat problem with his employees, the issue was passed on to their customer to deal with disgruntled me. So called them up (just by luck of the draw) expecting to hear they were booked out past my due date. The lady in the office was just as nice as can be and set my mind at ease. She understood my situation and said that they would get it done so I didn't get fined. She set up the appointment, She explained it would be after his other appointments but he would be here as quick as he could. The day of the appointment I really expected him to cancel due to the fact I think it was the worst weather day so far this year. It was wet, cold, and very windy outside. Mr. Caseday showed up with a smile. Thank goodness everything checked out good. I am a very happy customer. Thanks again for squeezing me into your schedule. The first plumber who came out told me that the grinder pump was not working and needed to be replaced, quoting me $3,130.06. I decided to get a second opinion. Blandon and Hayden from Service Pro Plumbing came out and determined that the pump did not need to be replaced and that it simply needed to be cleaned. They performed the necessary service for about $1,000, and the alarm and pump are now working perfectly. I was very pleased with their service and appreciated that they did not recommend an unnecessary replacement. Based on this experience, I decided to sign up for their annual maintenance plan.

At this point they have thousands and thousands of my dollars from work on our old house. They then came down a bit from that but in my opinion the quote is still crazy high for "about an hour... easy " work, particularly as I am an ongoing customer in an open project. I completely understand I would expect to pay for additional work out of original scope, but seriously? Such a high quote for an hour for what reportedly is a simple job for the plumber? Seems very unreasonable to me. They've now lost a customer and left sourness in the wake. It's a shame. I've learned my lesson. I'll in the future be careful to be wholly complete in my communication, and I will try to avoid such large corporate structures that seemingly do not care about my satisfaction. L.
