If you are looking for rocks and landscape materials this is the place to go. Don't waste your money at the popular home improvement warehouses, your gonna pay way too much. This place has a great selection from sand, stones of various sizes, river rock, mulch and much more. It's a big place but well organized. Make sure you take a truck but if you just don't have one they will sell you heavy duty bags for $2 each which you can fill to your heart's desire. Everything is sold by weight with a big scale outside. They have guys that will help you fill your bags or load your materials. All the people there are friendly and ready to help but a few may not speak english. They were not busy at all when we went and purchased 356 lbs of Black River Rock and stepping stones which only cost us $164 bucks which was half the price it would have cost at a local home improvement store. They actually had a color and size that matched our outdoor patio which we couldn't find anywhere else. This was our first time to visit this place and it's already our new favorite store. If your looking to do some DIY landscaping this is the place to go for sure. I think they even offer service if you would rather contract them to do it but call them first to double check me on that. Everything is sold by weight, so you can get so much more for your money. Check out what I did around our coy pond. We spent some time at AAA stone when we bought our home in Dallas. We needed a lot of gravel to go around dozens of pavers we were putting in to replace grass in our back yard. We specified and paid for Tejas Black gravel, as we wanted the contrast between the Tejas and light gray cement pavers. When it was delivered, we could not tell what it was due to lots of gravel dust all over the load. Once installed, we discovered it was a lighter granite gravel and NOT what we ordered. We contacted AAA and told them what happened. They denied that they had delivered the wrong product. I sent them an email with a photo of the finished installation. I received no response. We will NEVER do business with them again. Not only did they deliver the wrong product, they CHARGED us for the more expensive Tejas Black. read more

Large selection and inventory. Prices are very reasonable and service is fast. My first stop for rock, stone, dirt, etc.

It's easy to pick up your product and the prices are OK, but they do not screen their decomposed granite. We ended up with extremely rocky DG that isn't packing down well because of all the rocks. We'll likely get more from another source to try and pack down more layers. There were even large chunks of concrete in buried in the DG. They may be OK for larger stone, but I'd go elsewhere for decomposed granite. read more

Having had a poor experience with a terrible overcharge at the Terrell office, I called the Dallas store and asked to talk to a manager or owner. Much to my pleasant surprise, I was able to get my overcharge corrected with ONE phone conversation with the VP of the company. He was very willing to listen to my complaint, investigated the details and gave me a refund for my entire purchase which was far more than I asked for. He also gave me a possible explanation for the mix up and apologized repeatedly. I was so pleased that he listened and was able to correct the problem. I am very happy with their products and have decided to continue ordering from this company. I have also informed my neighbors of the company's willingness to work with me to resolve my complaint. They were very interested in the outcome and we happy about the resolution. Thank you AAA Sand and Stone- I appreciate your customer service. I had ordered a product and when it got delivered, I found it was not what I expected. I thought I was getting rocks and I received sand, it was my fault for what I ordered and did not verify the product. I utilized what was ordered but working with Mgmt, they gave me a discount in what I really needed to make my yard what I needed! I will use them again without any question. read more
