Cody saved the day today! My sister's little one accidentally locked them out of the house, with her phone, shoes, and all of her keys (including car keys) inside the house. She has a lot going on, and she hadn't gotten around to making spare keys yet, so they had to walk to my place in their slippers. We told Cody about our predicament, and he was so great and went out of his way to help. He came within the hour, with a 10-minute advance call to let us know when he was arriving. He was prompt, friendly, professional, and really knowledgeable. The person who answered the phone kinda of seemed annoyed told him the story he asked what kinda of car I said a 2009 Hyundai Elantra and he said I he couldn't help me till Monday it was Saturday when I called. Last year, the owner did an awesome job and replaced a coded key to our vehicle. After pricing several businesses, we went with this small business and are happy with their quality of work! Works great & dom't have to keep taking keys back to Wal-mart that don't open doors. However, the other night ago, after a long night, we came home to a door that would not open. Our daughter came home to discover the key would not work. When she was able to get in through the back, the security door still wouldn't open. The night I discovered Budwiser's new margarita line was on for the history books, that's for sure! It began with an unlimited access to those tasty little 8% alcohol devils and ended with a friend driving my car home for me and putting me to bed. The unfortunate thing is that some point shortly afterward I decided I needed my chapstick out of my car because my lips hurt real bad. Now, I don't remember this, but what I realized once I sobered up, is that my chapstick must have been pretty damn hard to find because I literally tore the entire interior of my car apart in my drunken stupor. Shiz was friggin' everywhere; the contents of my purse/glovebox strewn about, both seats relined fully, the head rests all taken off. I don't know where the eff I thought my chapstick would be but clearly I was determined to find it. Also misplaced within my completely locked vehicle happened to be my only set of car keys. Awesome! That was exactly what my extraordinarily hung over self wanted to see sitting on the floorboard at 7am. (Especially when I only had two hours left to turn my walk of shame glory into a business professional ready to roll into the office for the workday.) Left without option I called AAA Lock Specialist. They arrived quickly and were exceptionally professional. They even pretended not to notice the bright pink Straw-ber-Rita reeking lake of vomit that they had to step over to reach the passenger door of my car. I felt stupid and apologetic but not once did they give me a sideways glace or eye roll. They made quick work correcting my obviously poor decisions and were on their way! I was visiting So. Cal and ended up in the horrible situation of being away from home, with my kids, & needing a locksmith. I could not find the keys to my 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan. I happened to find get this company assigned to me by my roadside assistance company. It was fairly late & I was in an unfamiliar city. To say I was nervous would be an understatement. I was told the locksmith's eta was between 45-60 minutes. After about 30 minutes, the van pulled up. I was so grateful! The man who helped me was very friendly, helpful, & efficient! Referred by my AAA membership. I had gotten information from other locksmiths that it was possible to make a new key to replace my broken one. My twin toddlers and I will have no way to get to daycare or work tomorrow so I was super hopeful when my concern was dispatched to this company.
