I brought my car in for service recently and was told I urgently needed all 4 brakes replaced. I trusted their recommendation and paid about $1,300 for the work. Afterward, I reviewed the paperwork from my previous visit , only 4 months earlier and it clearly stated that my brakes were "all good." Not long after the brake service, I started hearing noises coming from my car. I called and left a voicemail asking for someone to contact me, but no one returned my call. Two weeks later I called again, and it still took multiple phone calls before I could finally get someone to respond and schedule a check. I ended up having to take a day off work and sit at the shop for over 2 hours just to have them look at and repair the brake noise caused by the brake job they had done only 3 weeks earlier When I brought the car back in, I asked about the contradiction between the previous inspection report and the sudden need for all new brakes. Dylan told me the earlier paperwork contained "misinformation" and that previous technicians sometimes mark everything as okay even when it isn't. That explanation was extremely concerning. If inspection reports can't be trusted, then how are customers supposed to make informed decisions about expensive repairs? Dylan even said, they double check what the technicians report so why was my report not double checked? if you cant trust your techs? they why should i have any trust that this is not a scam?? Being told my brakes were fine, then four months later being charged $1,300 for a full brake replacement, only to later hear that the earlier report may have been inaccurate, completely destroyed my trust in this shop. Add in the lack of communication and failure to return calls, and the entire experience felt unprofessional and misleading. RED FLAGS the moment I came here. I brought my car here a week ago due to a coolant leak, resulting in my car overheating.. I paid $113 for them to only run ONE test on my car and tell me I needed a whole new engine. The crazy part is, the test they ran would fail if there were any other issues not addressed first. They didn't specify how they got to that conclusion nor show me why they felt that a new engine was necessary. Absolutely zero. This was enough for me to know they didn't even bother to lift my car off the ground or get it up to running temperature to see where coolant was leaking from. Which tells me the "auto filled" reason provided on the invoice was not accurate as well. I took it to Christian Brothers on ocotillo for a second opinion. From the start they did a FULL diagnostic on my car (which only cost me $65) and found that I had a cracked radiator hose and suggested a new thermostat as well. They sent me a link that included photos and videos of where the leak was coming from, along with a list of other minor things they suggested to be fixed AND reasons why they suggested it. The link also included things they were in good shape on my car, too. So instead of spending 7k on a new engine - they fixed the ACTUAL problem. I would not recommend this AAA shop if you have anything bigger than an oil change. Even then, I would suggest going somewhere else. I have been coming here for four years and thought I could trust these guys. But in October 2024 when my AC stopped blowing cold air, they quoted me almost $2300 stating I needed a new air compressor. I could not afford it so I got a second opinion. It turned out it just needed a new solenoid switch. $369. I will not be coming back. Makes me question the $1400 I spent a year before that to replace a supposed cracked pipe for my AC. ****** Update: I was contacted byAAA and the manager. They offered an apology and explained why they made the recommendation to me. Short story they were recommending the repair that would last me at least two years and more. Been using them for two years because of their amazing proximity to my place. And because of my triple A card. Did some major work, too, like having my AC revamped in the summer or 2021 for 2k. One might think they'd be friendlier to me. Friendliness was always subpar; never mean or unkind but never super outgoing towards me. Clearly they have their cars and their customers they'd prefer to work on vs. others. They were never caring or enthusiastic about helping me with my automobile. In Nov, '22, my Mustang broke down and I brought it to them. They made me order a part I thought I needed which actually wasn't the part I needed to get my car running again. I wasted a month thanks to them. I had to order it, too, not them. They don't take care of everything. They assured me it was just a computer system that needed replacement and nothing else. It was not. The absolute worst mechanic's experience ever. Use caution when using this company. read more

Avoid them at all cost. They are a scam. Last year they serviced my Audi full service they charged me close to $1100 and "forgot" to top off coolant. Yesterday I go to them for brakes on my MDX they told me they will charge $50 and "Look" and all my brakes. The guy comes to me with a laundry list of things and a bill of $7400. Don't trust them and avoid them at all costs. I used to believe AAA was a good reputed place but they are worst than going to a dealer. Avoid these scam artists at all cost. read more

Last January my Jeep had an oil leak. They replaced the oil cooler. All was well until it started leaking oil again in September. I had less than 5000 miles since the service. This fell under their warranty policy. I was informed that the oil cooler had failed and they replaced it. I asked if they use OEM parts and was told yes. I drove it home and parked it in the garage. The next morning it was still leaking. I took it back and after their inspection was told the gasket failed. They repaired the gasket and called to say it was ready. Again, I drove it home and parked it in the garage. Again, the next morning it's still leaking. They said, bring it in, but I went to check the oil level to make sure it was ok. Yes, it was leaking a significant amount. I release the hood latches and noticed there was a deep horizontal scratch on the front of the hood that was not there when I took it in. I take meticulous care of my vehicle. This is deep into the paint and approximately 10 inches long. I pointed this damage out to them when I took it in ( now for the third time ). I also pointed out that when and whatever was spray on top of the engine splattered all over inside the engine compartment and on both fenders. They didn't even try to wipe it off. I was just hoping it didn't have a chemical that would eat through the paint. So this time I spoke with the manager (Randy), and he stated..sometimes third party parts fail..even though I was told they use OEM parts. He said they picked up an OEM this time. I had also been told that the prior leaking was oil that leaked onto the transmission housing and would stop. Being told this, after the third time in, I took it to the dealership and had them do an oil change. If it continues to drip oil, if it's dirty, then it's dripping off the tranny housing. If it drips clean oil...well, that means it's still leaking. So far so good. There is still the issue of the deep scratch in the hood. I do know for certain it happened there. Randy was going to look at the video to see if he could see anything. We agreed to give it a couple days for him to do that. I also said I would like to see it also. He was to call me two days later to let me know. And as I figured would happen..he never called. So I called his number on his business card and left a VM and asked him to call me back...it's one week later today, ( I gave it a week in case he was real busy or even off for a few days ) and he still hasn't called me back. I was lied to, it took three times to get the work done and it was damaged in the process which de-values my vehicle and they aren't taking responsibility for the damage that they did. Apparently they think if they don't call me back to address this issue, then they don't have to take responsibility. Pretty crappy "customer care and service". read more

My elderly mom wanted to buy a new car, and my sisters and I all dreaded the thought of haggling with the salespeople at the dealerships. The perfect solution for us was to go through AAA's car buying service. Tommy Peralta helped us through the whole process. 1) You discuss the type of vehicle you want- model, features, color etc. 2) AAA acquires that vehicle and brings it to their office, where you're free to look it over and go for a test drive. 3) AAA handles the trade-in of your current vehicle, if that's what you want. You never have to set foot in the dealership (for the trade-in or new car purchase) and even the paperwork can be done in AAA's office, or even your own home. Tommy was patient and very nice. We felt like he was treating us fairly throughout the process. The only glitch was when we felt we got a bit of a lowball offer on the trade-in. But we let Tommy know, and he negotiated a higher value with the third party. It's nice because you're not obligated in any way until you sign the final paperwork. Are you a deal making, wheeler dealer shark? Then this might not be the process for you. Perhaps you could negotiate a lower purchase price or higher trade-in. I think many would agree with me though, that this is an easy, painless way to acquire your new vehicle. I definitely recommend AAA's car buying service, and Tommy Peralta. read more

I was pretty sure I knew what was wrong w my air conditioner, I just didn't have the tools to fix it. I took my car in and didn't tell them my hypothesis as I'm no expert and wanted them to check everything. The issue was exactly what I expected, they didn't try to sell me more than I needed. I dropped the car off late on a Wednesday and it was ready first thing Thursday. I didn't get a call letting me know it was fixed, but it's not like I didn't know who to call and ask. Price was fair. Took my car in a few months ago to get oil change I had an appointment. They finished my oil change gave me my paperwork and I was on my way, from all past experiences anything they find that needs immediate attention I'm told verbally which would also be in notes, no one said anything else was an immediate issue got in my car started reading my notes and it said one of my brake lights were out. They literally were going to let me drive off with a non working brake light you can be ticketed by the police from my understanding. I had to go back in and ask if they can fix it they should have said something. Never coming back to this location. read more

Charged new part price for a rebuilt power steering pump. Double labor charge to install the rebuilt pump and labor to flush/refill the fluid. Give me a break! Even with the AAA 10% (so called) discount, they were $200 more than another shop. My problem was my car was already towed to AAA shop. Never again... Stay clear of repairs here! PS. The auto Bot replies suggest someone will follow up from this shop. It is a bogus fake email. What a dishonest business model. No wonder the are not a BBB registered business. read more

Had AAA tow it to the Gilbert shop and got a new alternator, radiator, power steering pump, and power steering hose! It's driving so smooth!!! Not long ago I had been to the Honda dealership to see what was wrong, Honda charged me $275 just to diagnose and only said it needed the power steering pump/hose! Honda didn't catch that I needed a radiator or alternator. But AAA fixed it all for a little more than Honda quoted me for just the steering issue! So very thankful! We have a 2020 Jeep Grande Cherokee. Inearly May the car appeared to be in need of a new battery, as battery died. At that time we also started experiencing issues without air conditioning. AAA came to the rescue and replaced the battery. Sadly the battery conto to be drained somehow. The dealers service department was unable and unwilling to determine what the root problem was with our vehicle. Btw: We are still under warranty. Out of frustration we decided to take our vehicle to AAA. They performed a diagnostic that revealed the potential issue and took the extra step to replace our New battery, to rule out the dealers claim of it all being caused by the battery. Turns out a part in our air conditioning unit is bad and caused all the issues. We owe a big thank you to Rick and his tireless efforts at AAA! Sadly the part is now on backorder indefinitely and it is June in AZ...not ideal. We will now return the car to the dealer, with the proper detail for them to address, in hopes that they will have access to the needed part. Kudos to AAA! read more

Excellent service! Have had great service with two vehicles. The first had a radiator issue. Rather than upselling us, AAA was honest and advised we simply needed a new cap @ $12. Other garages may have tried to sell us a whole new radiator. We recently had our 2014 fusion serviced as well. Everything checked out great! Been here twice and not going to return. Not so much the auto repair services were not done right, just not completely taken care of correctly. First time was to install tires and it took way longer than they said it would. Almost all day and when I got it back few days later the TPMS light came on and won't shut off, even after checking pressure and for leaks. It's faulty on one tire and I didn't think was worth time to bring back for them to fix it since I already did their survey saying all was good. Plus it was start of covid shut downs. Next year I decided to give them another try and do another service repair. While they looked over it they noticed the tpms was faulty and I told them it was like that after I had them install my tires. I didn't say it accusingly and was more like a yeah I know answer. Well other guy working there decided to tell me "you can just check your tires every month!" I looked at him and replied back I DO Anyways! I didn't appreciate his tone,but he wasn't the guy I was dealing with so I paid him no more attention. Again i waited longer than they said it would take, not sure why but I waited. The guy I was dealing knew I waited longer than told so he gave me a slight discount and apologized. I was thankful for the acknowledgment and gave him a great survey review, not holding what his coworker said against them. But, after two visits in a row not completely satisfied work, don't think I can return here. read more
