Stay away. Horrible service. They don't finish the job and don't answer calls or txt. Bad customer service. Not recommended.

Came here for a few weeks while the pool at El Dorado Aquatic Center was re plastered. The outdoor…read morepool is great for lap swimming but the locker room/shower area/restroom needs some updating and the staff needs to be better about placing their floor mats down because the floors are very slippery. The showers are small but at least there's good water pressure. Parking is limited here, especially if you enter off of Hayden. There's actually two separate parking lots, one that's specifically for the Aquatic Center but it's tricky to get to. From Hayden Rd, take E Chaparral Rd to N Granite Reef Rd to E Jackrabbit Rd. That will get you to the secret parking lot. LOL. Love the surrounding park with it's lake and walking paths and even went for a short run after swimming on one occasion. It's unfortunate that this Aquatic Center is not open year round.

This old pool house is well taken care of and a decent facility for swimming laps. Many of the…read moreother Scottsdale pools have slides etc, so don't expect all that here. I think this pool is generally only open in the summer months and just for lessons and lap-swim. Make sure to check the schedule for times! I have swam laps here early in the morning at 6am and later in the evening at 7pm. In the morning there is a summer swim team that works out and takes up quite a few lanes; it is noisy and turbulent. The evening swim is much more enjoyable; sometimes I have even had the pool to myself. If you are looking for a relaxing and focused swim come in the evening.

Definitely a must while visiting Scottsdale! The ambiance, the DJ and the set up is great! The only…read moredownside was the pool was freezing (in October) and there is nowhere to sit or stand as all of the areas are reserved. We even tried to get a lounger or table when we arrived but the minimum per person didn't even make sense (I live in Miami and it's less expensive) and the lounge chairs are for hotel guests. Other than the tables having a minimum of $1800, it wasn't that busy so we enjoyed our time at the bar which is located stairway down from pool. Also, before arriving, they had tickets listed $100 online and on another site for $50 and also in ResortPass. Luckily, upon arrival and a group of 8 girls, we were not charged. The drinks were delicious and they had a great cocktail menu! We had an amazing time as it wasn't that crowded and the music was great- would definitely recommend!

This situation…read morestill frustrates me so I figure writing a review might help others avoid the same situation. We ended up staying offsite and got sucked into a 4k minimum table by the pool because they said we wouldn't get in otherwise. That wasn't the case, guest or not was walking in without any problem. While we thought we could easily meet our minimum, that isn't the case because the service team takes 30 min to bring out drinks. Also, the food takes an hour to come out. Lastly, as a table, you're being forced to pay a 20% tip outside the minimum for mediocre service at best. Avoid paying for a table, it's not worth the stress or $$. I think the W management needs to look for a new company or leadership to run their pool parties. Hope this helps someone to not fall into the same trap.
