We had our electrical panel upgraded from 100 amp to 200 amp in March before we could install an air conditioner. The old electrical panel was done incorrectly and a mess with small branched panel. We called a couple of companies for quote based on Yelp's review. Willis had very reasonable price and favorable conditions in his quote. So we chose him. One thing very special about Willis is that he actually enjoys what he is doing (not just a job). He was often signing while he was working. Usually there are various ways to solve a problem. But Willis took the most elegant way among all electricians quoted. He even did extra works to carefully modify the woods around the panel, AND painted the woods! (We provided the paints). Everything was done neatly and beautifully with attentions to every details, passing permit inspection without any issue. read more

Willis did some electrical work for us back in the late 1990s, including relocating and installing a new 200 amp entrance panel. A lot of electricity has flowed through that panel since then. It has remained though a major house reconstruction, and a solar upgrade. Recently I decided to add a new Tesla Universal Wall Connector, as we have two "plug in" cars now. (Upgraded from the NEMA 14-50 that I had the solar guys install.) I was pleased to see that Willis is still in business. It was a relatively small job, so he was able to fit it in fairly quickly. He and his assistant did a great job installing my new charging station. read more

Thanks once again Yelp for helping me select AAA Electric, an excellent electrical contractor. Willis always responded promptly, provided an immediate estimate and worked around my schedule and that of other contractors on site. The installation of a dedicated line for a microwave along with wiring and mounting of a ceiling fan was done professionally and everything was clean upon completion. Due to a lack of communication by both Willis and myself, the ceiling fan was installed with an extension rod and we preferred to have it tight to the 8' ceiling, so Willis returned and remounted it without cost. I will definitely contact AAA Electric for any other future electrical projects. read more

After receiving an extremely large and inflexible quote from a different company, we were happy to find AAA. Willis was able to come give estimates right away, and the prices were right for what we needed done. He gave us options for everything, along with his professional suggestions, so we felt educated and in control of the work being done to our newly purchased home. Willis and Frank are a pleasure to work with. The project they did for us lasted about a month, on and off, and included changing all of our wall outlets to GFCI, updating all light switches, changing our bathroom exhaust fan, installing a new ceiling fan, adding a new outlet in our master bathroom, installing a light in our living room, rewiring our garage, replacing our electric panel outside, and more (!). We felt very comfortable leaving them in the house whenever we were away. Willis is extremely transparent about the work he's doing, so I always knew what was going on. He worked with the local inspector, to ensure that all of the work is up to code. Willis is also so sweet..I am pregnant, and one day he brought me some amazing Chinese donuts! He also brought us a thoughtful housewarming gift, and helped us with what restaurants are good in our new area. Willis and Frank were also friendly with our dogs, and even let them in or out, as needed, when we weren't home. All of these were, of course, added pluses..but it made the already great experience all the better. Who can say that about having electric work done to your house? As we have any future electric needs, we will be calling Willis. Definitely recommend!! read more

Disappointed in Willis. We called him the first time to fix our bathroom light. He came, jiggled the light fixture a little and charged me $95. That little jiggle got the light to work, but that didn't solve the real issue, so I called him back again after a few months. He made an appointment to come one weekday evening. My husband even came home early so he could go on the roof to check out some wires with him. It was already one hour past the appointment time when he finally texted and said that he was still stuck at his previous appointment and asked to reschedule. I said ok. A couple days went past, I didn't hear from him. So I texted him again. No response. And I called and left a message, waited a couple more days, still no response. He seemed like a great guy, and might've been overwhelmed with his workload, but NOT COOL to not responding at all. read more

We needed a dedicated breaker for our new HDTV and Home Theater setup. Willis arrived the same day we called and put in the new breaker and a dedicated power outlet. Two months later and everything still works great. It was nice to have such a quick turn around and reliable work done to resolve this so we could get to using our new TV. I only give AAA 4/5 stars because Willis was a little heavy-handed with upselling us on other services once the job was done. read more

Willis was a disappointment! Called me the morning of appointment to cancel because it was too big of a job for him! Very poor customer service! read more

Don't use them. The people are rude, Not professional, their only experience were 'we are a small company", what does it even mean?

I found AAA electric from Yelp! We had a breaker feeding our kitchen lights and several outlets around the house constantly tripping. After trying to locate the issue by removing all loads from each outlet we were still baffled as the breaker would trip after 10 minutes of being powered on. Called up AAA and Willis came out the next day. He spent time swapping out the breaker and doing some troubleshooting. He was able to find the issue and finally got us back up and running. The price was reasonable and he was a pleasure to work with. AAA and Willis will be my go to electrician in the future. read more

My family has used Willis and his crew 2-3 times now and have no complaints. Hard working, timely ....worth EVERY penny. Accept no others. I don't hand out references lightly. read more

Willis from AAA Electric was outstanding. We had an exotic electrical problem where a breaker was tripping for no apparent reason. Unfortunately, our tankless water heater was on that circuit, so I had to take my shower at work. Willis took the time to troubleshoot the problem -- it turned out to be a very small current leaking to ground induced over time by the sloppy wiring of our electrical contractor. The new circuit breakers are very sensitive to minute leakage currents like these, but I guess that's a good thing. We were so impressed by his job and very reasonable rate, that we had him come in a week later to put our tankless water heater on a separate breaker. I highly recommend him. read more

Willis did a fantastic job installing and wiring a ceiling light fixture in our living room. He is very professional and detail-oriented. He cares about making his customers happy and satisfied with his workmanship. Prices are competitive. I highly recommend him, and will personally use him for future projects. read more

We had some attic work done earlier this week which caused a partial electrical outage in our home. I called several electricians who were either difficult to communicate with, uninterested in the job, or unavailable. I was feeling desperate when I contacted AAA and was delighted when Willis answered my call at 9:00 in the evening. He indicated how he would approach the problem, was willing to schedule an appointment the next day, and provided me a quote over the phone. I was impressed! I was even more impressed when Willis and another electrician arrived the next day. They approached finding the problem very methodically and communicated with me clearly throughout the process. They not only solved the problem but Willis also made recommendations for some additional work and left us an estimate to consider. I highly recommend AAA Electric. Willis will be our "go to" electrician in the future! read more

Half of our house has no electricity today. We can not reach our regular electrician & try to call any electricians we found on Yelp. AAA Electric is the one who answers the call on a Sunday afternoon. Not sure if the pricing is right. But hey, he is our life saver and at least he got it fixed within 30 mins. read more

I would never recommend Willis, very unprofessional. We texted him twice and left him a phone message when he finally got back to us he claimed he never received the text, then he said he would call us that night to let us know what time he would be by the next day to do the job, well guess what no call at all and a no show, very disappointed, don't waste your time with this company. read more

I have called Willis at AAA Electric multiple times to do various projects at my house such as installing new electrical sockets so there are more in a room, adding lighting in our living room, adding a new electrical hookup for a new dryer to most recently upgrading our electrical panel from 100 watt to 200 watt. He is always a pleasure to work with, has very reasonable prices, is clean as he works as to not leave a mess, is very considerate of my needs and asks questions and makes recommendations with no pressure. I highly recommend him and will definitely call him again. read more

I as well found AAA on Yelp, and was happy I did. Everything you read is true and on point. I could repeat my stellar experience, but I thought I would add something different that can be important to potential customers. I am a mom with kids and having someone I don't know come into my home can be worrisome. But Willis is wonderful. He is trustworthy and kind and if you are in my situation, you can put any hesitation to rest. You will feel very comfortable and safe to have him in your home. So if you need an electrician, just stop looking and call Willis, you too will feel compelled to write a positive Yelp review when he is done as I was. read more

We purchased a newly built house. After about a week we lost the power in all electric outlets in the garage. AAA Electric was recommended to me by one of my neighbors. I called Willis on Wednesday, hoping to schedule an appointment for the next week. To my surprise he told me that he should be able to come on Saturday (in just three days). He very quickly diagnosed the issue - a loose cable connection in one of the power outlets, which happens to be the one that connects the entire garage to the main panel. I watched how Willis fixed the problem by making sure that everything is done to perfection. I asked him to check one more outlet. He confirmed that everything with that one was fine, but he replaced some of the bolts just in case. I was really impressed by the quality of Willis' work. Thank you Willis! read more

I called AAA to get two lights installed in the house (dining and entry way). I'll keep this one short and sweet: Willis is experienced, very detail oriented, and does great electric work at a reasonable rate. He's a true professional and I would hire him again if I ever needed work done. read more

I am very pleased with Willis' work. After receiving a couple bids from other electricians, Willis came in much lower. He and his crew are very experienced and detail-oriented. He installed outdoor lighting, added an outlet in the garage, installed outdoor speakers and connected wiring through the inside of our house as well as cleaned up the electrical wiring in our attic. He is very conscientious about his work and guides you through the project. I would definitely use him again. read more

I've used AAA for two jobs now: once to hook up a cook top and the other to install a light in my attic storage area. Rates are competitive, they communicate very well as to when they will be at your place (and if they are running late), and the work is done quickly and in a professional manner. I would totally recommend them and will definitely use them again in the future. read more

I have used the services of Willis many times. I was so pleased with Willis and his associate's service, scheduling, price, and ability to communicate what they were doing and what else ought to be done. They provided everything I needed and recommended a couple safety improvements at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend AAA Electric and will call them for all my future electrical needs. read more

The guy was very knowledgeable and very informative. Always kept me in the loop of what as going on. Quick and efficient. Gave me a great price too. He even did few extra things, like fix some of my outlets and their wiring, at no extra cost. Would highly recommend. Was a little confused on why he was wearing slacks and a nice sweater though. A great electrician, just didn't look like one since he was dressed so nicely. read more

Glad I checked Yelp first because AAA Electric was a great find. Left a message and got a call back from Willis 20 mins later, who offered to come take a look at my electrical problem that same day. (I had called Romano Electric first, left a message, but no one called me back, so will I will rate them appropriately.) Willis came by, assessed the situation, fixed the problem (no power to Family Room - short circuit on one of the lines), put all the wall plates back together, vacuumed up, and was done in about 2 hours. Will absolutely use AAA Electric for all future jobs - fantastic company!!! I'm very happy with their work!!! read more

Willis and AAA Electric were extremely helpful in making sure that our home had working smoke and CO2 detectors. Willis was able to come out the next day, was courteous, charged a fair price and even told us we didn't need two new smoke detectors. The batteries just needed to be changed. I would highly recommend Willis and AAA Electric. Thanks Willis! read more
