From the very first call, Big Brand Tire in Fallon came to our rescue. First thing this morning, they pulled us in and had us back on the road by 11 AM! They replaced the alternator, battery, and checked sensors while treating us (and our pets) with genuine care and kindness. Every single crew member was polite, helpful, and incredibly accommodating during what could have been a stressful ordeal. They turned a scary break down /towing experience into one we'll never forget--for all the right reasons. If you're in Fallon or passing through and need honest, fast, professional auto repair, look no further. This team goes way beyond just fixing cars--they restore your faith in people. Thank you, Big Brand Tire! We can't recommend you highly enough. -- Janeen & Vic Arrigo (Hermosa Beach / Idaho travelers)

They called us and said they didn't realize there was deeper damage, ordered more parts, and got us in February. ORDERED THE WRONG PARTS, so now I'm stuck with a darker window tint than I had. They lost parts in the warehouse for a week, so I had to wait longer. To the point that my insurance company was ready to cancel my rental cause it took CC forever to get this done. Next time I will drive to Reno and find someone half competent to get a job done. Never again - nightmare.

They have had her vehicle since August 29, 2023 and she was told it would be completed one week after drop off. She paid for the parts prior to her appointment. It is now October 13th and she still doesn't have her car!!!! She asked for a total, two days later she finally gets the total and asks if they take credit cards....they DO NOT take credit cards. Asking if they accept zelle, PayPal, etc... they said no and something about they don't want to pay taxes for that.... She has been without her vehicle... her ONLY vehicle... and she just wanted to pay to get her car. They avoided responding to her and sent her husband a text. First off, that's just rude and bad business ethic as you were having a conversation with her not the husband. The work for this vehicle honestly should be phenomenal but honestly with just the experience she has been having I'm going to say she will likely have to take it somewhere else. Avoid this place for ANY Autobody work or anything. Unless you want to get the run around and told this and that and be without your vehicle longer then they tell you to expect to get it back. Infuriating beyond belief!! DO NOT GO HERE!

I highly recommend Frank's shop for the reasons below…read more We came to Fallon to visit our son for a few days. When we arrived, our water pump was making noise and leaking coolant - not good in the desert in August! Before calling repair shops, I looked online to see what's involved in replacing a water pump on a 2012 Toyota Highlander. I've changed a few water pumps in my 50 years of driving, so I figured it's not a big deal. I was surprised at what it takes to do this job! Everything is so crammed into the engine compartment that it's a rather complex job. A Google search showed estimates of up to $900 for a mechanic to do the work. Yikes! Things aren't as simple and cheap as they used to be! I called around town to shops recommended by friends in town. Everyone was booked two weeks out, including Frank's. Cathy, who answered the phone, sounded sincerely sorry they didn't have an earlier appointment since we're here from out of town. I asked if I could bring it in anyway and leave it with them and we'd have our son pick it up when it's done. She said sure, and if they have a chance to work on it sooner, they would, but she couldn't promise it would be done before we planned to leave town. I figured we'd borrow our son's second car and return it on our next visit. Not ideal, since we live several hours away, but doable. I took the car in and Cathy wasn't there. I figured she's out to lunch, but then I learned that it was her birthday and Frank had given her the rest of the day off to be with her family. So Frank was covering the front desk. When I told him the situation, he also didn't make any promises, but I could tell he really wanted to help us out. We chatted for a little while, and he talked about when he ran the junior racing program at the local drag strip. From the photos and awards on the wall, I could tell this business has a long history in this town. Long story short, the work was completed the day before we planned to leave town, and the bill was considerably lower than I expected - a double win! Frank and his crew took wonderful care of us and our car. They're professional and are the kind of people I'd want to be friends with. Pros: Quality, Fair pricing, Professional, Friendly Cons: Too far from our home to be our regular mechanic

I have family in Fallon that highly recommended R&W. That was enough for me so I scheduled an appointment. From scheduling the appointment, to dropping it off at the overnight drop off, getting updated while the work was preformed to picking it up the next day everything went as good as I could've hoped. Transmission has 184k miles from new and I really was hoping with the service it would be a little better and that's what I was told might be the case. I've given it a few hundred miles before writing this review and I can say it's MORE than a "little better". Not like new or anything (come on, how many Chevy transmissions even last that long, right? lol). But I am pretty confident I can get by while I plan for R&W to install a reman when needed in the future. Thanks Darrel and the tech who serviced my van, a job well done
