It was impossible for me to avoid and it damaged my metal skid plate under my car making it impossible to drive or remove myself. Stranded on the side of the Highway shooken up dealing with my roadside insurance for a long time they decided they were going send a company that was 1.5 hours away and they were going to have to tow it to their yard for the night no exceptions. They also said they couldn't try to help with removing the skid plate. I wasn't planning on going to Reno or getting a hotel and the thought of having to then get it towed to a repair shop the next day while trying to get home was a nightmare. After spending almost 2 hours stranded I gave up and called Fallon towing. Within 20 minutes a truck was there to help. He lifted it up, took the skid plate off, checked my car and my daughter and I were able to continue on our roadtrip for a very reasonable price. However, that wasn't it. The driver followed us to town to make sure there weren't anymore problems and that we were safe. They lost parts in the warehouse for a week, so I had to wait longer. To the point that my insurance company was ready to cancel my rental cause it took CC forever to get this done. Next time I will drive to Reno and find someone half competent to get a job done. Never again - nightmare.
