When AAA Cooling & Heating first acquired my business they were great! I've since contacted the company for service and I was treated unprofessionally. I was promised a return call and almost two months later I have yet to hear back as promised. When calling their phone number, you will notice that you are greeted with a recording that immediately says "Thanks for calling, please hold", you are then transferred to another number (every time you call, you are received this same exact way). In December I had a sub-contractor look at my furnace ( on behalf of AAA) and after 10 minutes he couldn't get the problem to replicate. He then he turned his focus upon selling me a rigorous (and expensive) service plan. After paying $120.00 for the 10-minute visit (and a new filter), he advised me to contact AAA if I ran into the same problem. Three weeks later I found out that there was a short in the disconnect box. I contacted Denise at AAA (after being immediately placed on hold and then transferred), where I was informed that I would need to pay an additional $70 service call + paying for the repairs. I feel that the $120 from the previous visit, not even a month earlier, would have been sufficient. Not to mention that my furnace and air conditioning unit were still under warranty (since I have had them less than three years). I advised Denise at AAA that I also received a recall notice in the mail from Trane that I would like to take care of during the same visit. Denise was unaware of the recall notice (something that you can google to get information on) and said that she would have to look into it and call me back. Two months have passed and I have yet to hear back from AAA. read more
