4.5 Stars I loved the menu that had pictures of all the sushi and the conveyer belt - style (but no conveyer belt) portions and ordering (checkmarked sheet). This structure of ordering allows you to try lots of types of sushi :) Salmon Sashimi Bowl ($12.99) - I was surprised by the quality of the fish. Loved all the components in the bowl too (roe, tamago, seaweed salad) and it was beautifully assembled. BF got a few California Roll pieces and Shrimp tempura roll pieces and wasn't a fan of- I liked them though! Kind staff.

The inch worm waiting somewhat patiently for the next order.

Met my granddaughter and her Uber driver at aa Sushi for a fun, casual dinner. The service was fast and friendly. We had the calamari, a couple of California rolls, octopus, shrimp and eel. All of it was fresh and delicious, and the prices are a bit lower than most other sushi restaurants.

This place is SO GOOD! I've been ordering from here often through DoorDash and I couldn't believe they're a conveyer belt sushi! The quality of their sushi is one of the bests in the Eastside. Highly recommend!

Ordered this place for delivery not realizing how far this was from Seattle and I was shocked as to how good this place was with delivery from Kirkland. Ordered the Lion King, Godzilla, Black Spider, and Seared Salmon w/Garlic. Favorite was the Lion King roll with the salmon on top melting in my mouth, but also enjoyed the Black Spider and Seared salmon. Would probably pass on the Godzilla.

Tasty, fresh sushi. They come super small so ordered a lot of rolls. We've never been disappointed.

We visited on a Monday for dinner and had a great experience. We ordered the Tofu Curry Bento,…read moreVegan Poppers, and the Death by Crunch roll -- everything was amazing. The tempura was perfectly crispy and delicious, and the vegan karaage in the bento was especially tasty. I'll definitely be coming back to try the karaage as a full plate next time. The space is small with only about six tables, but we were able to get one easily on a Monday evening. For vegans, this place is truly heaven -- so many flavorful and satisfying options. Highly recommend!

My husband had a craving for Sushi so we decided to try something different. We saw this on Google…read moreand decided to try it. The reviews were good and the pictures looked pretty good too. For an appetizer, we got the special which was a four piece crispy rice appetizer. It was pretty good. My husband and son liked them both but one was a little too spicy for me and the other I thought needed a little something more. But overall pretty good. I ordered the Chirashi bowl. The tako (octopus), seared tuna, sake (salmon), hamachi (yellowtail), maguro (tuna), tamago (egg), ikura (salmon roe), ebi (shrimp), hotate (scallop), and superwhite tuna in the chirashi were sliced nice and thick. Some places cut them thin but here the size was perfect. Not too big, not to small. Just right. My husband got the ultimate Bento and my son ordered the Tuna Bento. They both got sushi, tempura and salad in their bento. The tempura was super crispy and the perfect amount of thickness of the batter. My husband and son loved the tempura. Their sushi was really good and the cut of the fish was just the right thickness. This is a family business and the girls serving us we're really nice and checked on us often. I like supporting small family businesses so I definitely will be coming back and recommending this to my friends!

While in the Kirkland area for work......when in Seattle? Eat sushi! The lady at our hotel…read morerecommended Izumi. Wow! I am so glad she did! Upon arriving, about 15 minutes prior to them opening for lunch, the cars started arriving and by the time they opened there was a line of 6 to 8 nice folks, waiting to get in. Once we entered, we were greeted by the most gentle and kind ladies in uniforms of white blouses, aprons and black trousers. We had the hot tea to drink and the vessels were so beautiful. That really elevated the experience. We had the sashimi platter with miso soup, salad and delicious hot jasmine rice; and the spicy salmon roll. Our sashimi and make were absolutely delicious and tender and fresh and creamy and and and...... All items were beautifully served and the sushi chefs plated everything perfectly. The service was impeccable and very pleasant. The interiors had a very authentic feel and it was perfect. Everything, including the restrooms were very clean. I hope I get to return to this fantastic restaurant one day!!!

It's one of our go-to restaurants whenever we visit Seattle. Over the years, the menu has changed and so have the prices! I noted the higher menu prices but I wasn't surprised since the economy has been unstable lately. We were a family of four dining and our server graciously took group photos of us before and after the meal. What a cute gesture to offer to take after meal photos. hahaha! I think our smiles were bigger then. The fresh seafood, friendly and efficient service, and tasty Japanese food makes this still my go-to Japanese restaurant. I recommend this place.

I came on Friday night. I dined alone, so I searched for a good restaurant that was not overcrowded…read moreand had a wonderful atmosphere. I really had a pleasant visit today. The cuisine has excellent seasoning. I chose two appetizers, Takoyaki and Hamachi Karma, and found both to be delicious. The Takoyaki had a well-balanced flavor. Yummy. The Hamachi Karma displayed both the fish and dipping sauce with wonderful flavors. The drizzle sauce and spinach on the plate seem to be intentionally included. They complement the dish altogether. I think both the recipe maker and the chef demonstrated great skill in their execution. I should experience different dishes next time. The restaurant was nice and clean. The staff were friendly, polite, and attentive to their customers. My green tea never ran out. I rarely ate at a restaurant without asking for more water or tea. It may seem like a little thing, but I valued their attention. This restaurant may become one of my go-to places to eat.

I admit that I first tried this place because it is within walking distance of my hotel in Bothell…read more However, I was staying in that hotel for two nights and actually enjoyed my experience so much the first night, that I came back again to sample more menu items the second night as well. Both nights, I enjoyed great food and excellent service. The first night, I thoroughly enjoyed ikura (salmon roe) with quail egg, ami ebi (sweet shrimp) -- love me fried shrimp heads, and a specialty roll -- black lava spider roll. The second night I ordered miso soup, yellowtail scallion roll, saba (mackere) nigiri, eel avocado roll and tobiko nigiri. On both evenings, I opted for green tea instead of an alcohol alcoholic beverage. Another reviewer commented that there is a brisk takeout app service, which was noticeable both nights I was there. I am talking these experiences up as a win. I will be back in the area, and it is nice to know there is a restaurant I can count on for great food and service.
