If you care at all about sanitation (which um, you should) do NOT go here! I went a few months ago and was disgusted by the nail clippings, dust, dirt, and who knows what else all over the floor. Thankfully I only got a manicure and didn't have to take my shoes off. Drive a few more blocks up Lincoln and go to Paris nails on Broadway next to the Dunkin' Donuts for a great and sanitary manicure. read more

Despite the mixed reviews, I decided to give AA nails a try and I must say, I'm glad I did. The staff is friendly, the prices are great and I love my nails. I pretty much got the works today (mani, pedi and wax) and couldn't be happier. JR and Yvonne were especially nice and my nails look great! Snow did my design and wax and was wonderful as well. Great service, great prices, and a clean shop - can't ask for more than that! read more

So many reviews said everyone was so unfriendly and I had the opposite experience! Everyone was super nice and friendly.

I've been coming here for a while for pedis. The folks are very nice and probably most importantly to me, my pedi lasts. The things that they use on me are clean. The chair, the tools, the people. The massage chairs always work. I have never noticed things like magazines or TV. I am usually playing on my phone. It's a solid place. read more

I love this place!! It's right down the street from me so I may be a little biased. But the pedicures are awesome. Not too expensive. Polish selction is huge too. I got a shellac pedi and it stayed on foro ver a month and looked perfect untill the day I got it taken off. They are meticulous about painting your nails which is huge for me. I have watched this salon go down hill since the impressive fresh start new owner made a couple of years ago. The shop is filthy. The floors, walls, and work stations are covered in dust and grime. While tools are sterilized, it is hard to get past the lack of attention to the surroundings. I can't go back. read more

I've been going to Jennifer since she was a Paris Nails on Colfax. I didn't realize she was the owner until I read another review. She does the best acrylic nails ever. Hands down. Everyone is very nice and I always have a pleasant experience. I don't care the chit-chat while getting my mani/pedi, and they don't bug me. I just sit there and relax. I make sure I go every month or more, which I can b/c their prices are so reasonable. I do like to get an extravagant pedicure at a fancy salon a few times a year. I went to the Woodhouse last time and I got a much better pedicure at AA Nails. Keep it up, guys! read more

I've been there three times. Overall they are very quick (if that's what you want - that's what I want when I go there), owner is best to go to but you must make an appointment with her. They are always busy even on Sunday afternoons - it's their prices. You get what you pay for. Their chairs are great! It is starting to look run-down, workers don't like what they are doing, they look bored. The young man does a OK job, but he goes very slow, there's another gal (who just had a baby this year) she goes so fast it's ridiculous. Bring your own polish for sure. Check your nails/toes for sloppy polish before you leave. In a hurry, need something cheap - go there. read more

Not bad for a $22 pedi. The girl who did my toes was really nice and she did a decent job. It's close to my house and easy to get to. It's really clean - sterilized tools, clean chairs, etc. I might go back if I want a quick pedicure but if I want a longer, more relaxing one, I'll shop around. read more

i previously went to AA nails all the time in the past but haven't been back since the new ownership, the place used to be welcoming and the people acted like they appreciated your business and where happy to see you! but today i went in thinking i would give it a try, NOT HAPPY AT ALL WITH THE SERVICE, I'm currently going to cosmetology school and I'm the first person to know how to deal with clients each and every day. When i walk in they acted like i was interrupting there lunch, (which by the way is right on the floor where everyone can see and smell what they are eating) the lady never even bothered to ask what i was in for she said pick your color and have a seat (not even telling me where to sit). there work stations where no clean and therefor unsanitary in my book, i wiped down where my hand would be resting with hand sanitizer from my bag, and the lady went from stuffing her face to coming straight over and starting my nails, without even washing her hands!!! i told her that i wanted a full set she didn't even ask what kind i always get gel but why was i going to pay her more if she didn't even care about what i wanted! she did my nails as fast as she could and then told me that it was an extra 5$ for the white tips no even letting me know until after. then i told her i wanted a design, she said what do you want. i then said a flower she got up and went and got blue paint, never asking what kind of flower, what color flower, nothing! moral of the story 27$ for a full set and bad service, NEVER GOING BACK! thank you! read more

I was thinking how hard could it be to do gel nails? Should've listened to the reviews. This place is a joke! If I could give them less than a star I would. It's not clean, the listed prices are not what they tell you and my gel manicure is gross. I'm not a newbie to gel nails either. This place gave me bumpy, sticky, uneven nails.... not to mention charged me $28 for the mess. They also did not care that I was upset. read more

This place sucks. I actually found them on Yelp and was confident that I would get good service. I went in originally asking for a pink and white rebase and pedicure. After sitting down and realizing that I didn't really need the white portion rebased I said I just needed a rebase - she then cuts my nail without even asking how short I'd like them - I prefer a longer nail and left with baby nails. They ended up moving me to finish the rebase while getting a pedicure, which is convenient if you're short on time but I wanted to relax during my pedicure, not have all that going on at once. They didn't have me pick a pedi color before getting it started so I had to describe what color I'd like and have the guy return with the colors. After all of this the nail tech still charged me for a pink and white rebase saying that she used the pink powder so that's why I was charged that, meanwhile I left with short little nails, an aweful file job, and a very unpampering experience - don't waste your time or money with this place!!! PS- Went there two weeks ago, the acrilyc is lifting and and full of air bubbles and I'm not hard on my nails at all. read more

Jennifer has done my nails for years when she was just a technician at another shop. Now that she is the owner here, I feel she still does a great job; however, she doesn't take the time and put forth the effort like she did before to make the nails flawless. There are times that she will put me off to another person when she knows I always have requested her. Also, for getting the same thing each time, I always end up paying a different price. I have shopped around and went other places, but I still end up going back to AA Nails as Jennifer is the only one that could do my nails the way I like. She is an awesome girl and her staff are always usually nice. The place could be cleaned up a little but other than that, it is a nice place. The only major down fail about the location is the parking. There is never parking there and if there is, the spaces are extremely small. I do recommend this place for their work because overall, after looking, they are the best! read more
