Went w/ my parents for the Thanksgiving weekend. Can you say gorging glutenous fest??? Not only did they have the typical Chinese buffet fare but also had a traditional american turkey buffet hot bar. They also have a sushi bar (which I stayed clear of... I dont trust sushi in buffets), they had the usual soft serve station but they also had a self serve freezer of Blue Bell Ice Cream!!! Also, they had a mongolian stir fry station.. This is probably my favorite chinese buffett. It has like 5 different stations and a sushi and hibachi grill too. The food is not too greasy, like it can be at some of these places. I usually go about twice a year to these places and I'm very happy I found this one close to the house. Good grub!! read more

We noticed the name is now "New Super Buffet" Nothing really new, at all, so the name is misleading. The seafood was mediocre at best. Everything was overcooked and bland. Items that should have been cool were warm, and vice versa. A buffet that is no different from so many others. This had to be one of the worst dining experiences I have had in a long time. The hostess who sat my family and I down was rude as well as short, and at checkout time she couldn't seem to figure out how a credit card worked. In addition, the food was old and taste less. Second time here and I must say it is the best Chinese Buffet I've ever been too. Their variety is vast and the coconut shrimp is to die for. Sushi is very good too. The oysters on the half shell could be better without the shells but this isn't an oyster bar. Shrimp is fresh and not mealy. Even the roast beef isnt over done. This was the most disgusting buffet I have ever eaten at. The food was dry. The women's restroom was the most unsanitary I've even seen! The toilets had either vomit or some other nasty bodily fluid on it, I told the staff & the entire time we were there, nobody cared to go in to clean it up! As far as Chinese buffets go, this one is pretty good. Highlights: Prime rib, mushrooms in brown sauce, crawfish, oysters, hot and sour soup, and the best garlicky green beans. For Burleson/Crowley, I thought this was a nice buffet with a lot of varieties. I stuck to the steak/chicken items, which were all good and flavorful while my husband had nothing but seafood. He thought it was good, not great, but that's okay. read more

Great buffet! Usual plus Frog legs, crawfish, bacon wrapped shrimp. We went on a Sunday about 1pm and there was a line waiting to get in.

This restaurant discriminates against disabled people...i was ask not to come back after visiting with ADA trained service animal...they seated away from other guests and told my service animal couldn't accompany me to the bar to get my food...when I tried to inform them I need my service animal with at all times, they ask me not to come back. I have been going to this establishment for several years now and finally have to write a review. Food has gotten progressively worse and worse, cleanliness has always been a little dicey but today was the last draw. The Mongolian BBQ looked like it had been sitting out for days. The shrimp was white, and smelled. the food was ice cold, the rice was disgusting and cold infact every dish was cold (trying to save a little on energy?). I gave is one star for not good, if there would have been a star for GARBAGE I would have given it that. Worst dining experience to date. Just as a side note why hasn't ICE taken a hard look at this business. Our waiter spoke little to no English and this is not a isolated incident. Never again! If I get sick start looking for the Health Department to give you a visit. I have never seen more disgusting bathroom in my 20 years as a Naval Inspector (and I have inspected dives in eating establishment on six of the seven continents. We eat here every other thursday night. The food is consistently great. Big variety to choose from. Wait staff is fast and very courteous. Salad bar could use a few more fresh veggies but salad is not really why most people go there. Favorites would have to be the honey chicken, coconut shrimp, hibachi chicken and pot stickers. They also have sushi and hibachi grill although I don't partake in either cause im not adventurous. Many diffent kinds of shrimp to choose from: raw, fried, coconut, garlic, peppered just to name a few. And now Im starvin and lucky for me its thursday. Hope this was helpful. read more

The food was just ok but I really question their cleanliness. I observed a server picking up raw oysters that had fallen into the ice and putting them back on to the shell and the sushi chefs don't wear gloves. The cashier told me that my American Express card was supposedly declined twice and I paid with a debit card. I spoke with AMEX immediately after leaving and was told that my transaction was never presented in their system and was declined by the restaurant. I realize that AMEX charges a higher fee than Visa but to decline a patrons card at the cashiers desk to save a few cents seems ridiculous. read more

There are many items to choose from so that is why we ave eaten here several times. Today we arrived about 4:15 and there was a sign stating the lunch price and the dinner price. All along the buffet there were signs on premium items that stated it was a dinner item and the cost was more. We didn't want to pay the higher price so we only selected items that were not on the dinner menu. Some of the items were dried out and tough. The green beans were very good though. When it was time to pay they charged us the dinner price even though we had not had dinner items. We explained that we had not had dinner but they would not make an adjustment and it was "just too bad". POOR. POOR POOR customer service. In trying to collect a few extra bucks tonight, they will lose all our future business. The signs etc were confusing and the cashier indicated that we were not the first to have this problem. My sister, who is wheelchair bound and I went to the AA China Buffet about 715 p.m. on Saturday night, February 8, 2015. The place was very busy, given. The manager escorted us to a table that we did not want t sit at. There were plenty of other tables, in fact, I pointed one out to her. She would not allow us to sit at that table because as she put it, "it would interfere with the comfort of other patrons and they could not get by." All they would have had to do was cross behind or in front of another table next to us. Her main concern was making the almighty $$$ and not trying to accommodate a physically challenged person. I was respectful, did not cause a scene like I have seen so many do in the past when they do not get what they want. I went to the desk to ask to speak to the manager. It just happened to be her. She gave me an unfriendly look, actually a scowl on her face and gestured with her hands and explained how she could not sit us at any other table. Het tone of voice was also contemptible. I will NOT be back. My sister is also a diabetic and needed to eat as she had planned her meal timing wrong that afternoon. read more
