He showed us it wasn't the old rubber seal, that I thought, but the adhesive that bonds the glass to the frame, was the actual failure point. They removed glass and cleaned out old and applied new adhesive. They also installed the new rubber seal I purchased to "fix" the leak. I placed a paper towel in the interior part of the frame and it showed no additional leaks after 2 late spring storms in late April/ early May. Thanks John/California RV Glass.

Maybe if enough people read this review, you will give John's Auto Care your business, to the point where they just might be able to service my car for free. I was able to give them a call first thing in the morning to drop off my car at 7am. They fixed my AC before lunch time, and they even priced me below market. In fact, they helped me prove to Honda manufacturing their AC components are crud, so the mfg company was able to fix other parts in my car free of charge. Talk about sticking it to the man! Me, a person of color, would advise other people of color, with the wrong mindset of thinking they're being judged for being colored, to give these guys a call! The morning after returning my car for the AC issue, I got a call from the owner of Duncan's, his first words were accountable, apologetic, and genuine. He told me he was going to come pick up my car, leaving me a loaner (with functioning AC) because HE was going to make this right! After full diagnostics Jon had figured out what the cause was, I needed to replace my AC Compressor since the clutch was bad. He charged me ONLy for parts. He also threw in an oil change, replaced my cabin filter at no cost. He treated me like a priority and, like my business was important to him. I went from swearing I'd never go back to a business and in less than 24 hours I proclaimed I'll be a customer for life at Duncan's Automotive in Lincoln. Jon, you 100% reclaimed my business by offering me grace and empathy. You went above and beyond by coming to my home to pickup my car and stay with it from start to finish, assuring standards were followed and top service was delivered. Thanks to the team at Duncan that made this right, it changed EVERYTHING! Original Post: Called Duncan's and said my AC stopped working. I told them I also need a new drivers side door handle. I was quoted $800+ to diagnose AC and replace the door handle. I then received their call quoting an additional 1200 to repair blower and other parts for the AC, I agreed. AC worked on the way home, success!! But, then I loaded up my family the next day to get to the Reptile Expo, just ten miles away when the AC stopped working halfway there. My daughter, with a severe seizure disorder cannot handle temps over 80, started to have seizures. A nightmare. Monday morning I called and told them it stopped working and that I could not afford to not have my car for another day but would bring it in if they could get it fixed and prioritize my situation (already had my scheduled appointment and paid!) I heard "standing appointments" are already scheduled, clearly I would not be a priority. I was told they'd be able to get it back but would need me to leave it, again. I said I couldn't afford another Lyft and they said "we'll have someone take you home". I enter the shop and service writer Mike asks me if he can help me, only to seem flustered the moment he realized I was frustrated, as I was sharing the simple facts with him: I brought it in, I picked it up, my daughter was impacted by seizures and he said "you've made your point"! No, "I'm really sorry about that" or any concern/compassion/customer service) then he pointed to the work order from the previous week, and said I "didn't say the aC wasn't blowing cold air". I told him I'm not a technician nor would I know what words to convey beyond "my AC isn't working". He asked "what does that mean to you?" It means my system I use to cool down the interior of the car wasn't functioning and I paid close to $800 for a diagnosis to correct that issue. He said they'd get the car looked at but I may incur further charges, i told him I shouldn't have to pay for anything else since they told me the car was fixed and it wasn't (plus parts totaled $650 and labor was over $1200-they want more labor fees to do correct what they messed up the first time)! That's a great business practice to assure money keeps flowing in but terrible for the customer who paid to get her AC fixed only to be asked to pay more to actually get it done? Ridiculous. They charge premium labor at $210 as if they have master technicians servicing the vehicles. When I mentioned this to Mike he said, "we should've charged you the $260 rate for AC repairs".

Both of our vehicle were dented by the workers at both locations, Roseville (my suburban) and Rocklin (husband work truck) and the manager refused to work alongside to resolve the issue. We don't have the time for that either. My husband's runs a business and we have three young children with one on the way. I do not recommend this company. They are not ethical in any way and they'll do whatever to get out of a mess that they caused. Additionally, my husband witnessed a gentleman's rug mats being stolen out of his vehicle from a worker at the Roseville location and tried denying it. So sad. This company needs better honor, integrity, honest workers, and ethics.

LEGALLY BINDING DUE BILL IGNORED, DISORGANIZED MANAGEMENT, SUBSTANDARD WORK…read more I drove approximately six hours to Mercedes-Benz of Rocklin to purchase a 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLA 250. Upon arrival, I found undisclosed paint damage on the rear hatch and a dent on the passenger door. Both items were placed on a legally binding due bill as a condition of sale. The experience trying to get these items fixed has been an absolute nightmare of poor communication, ghosting, and terrible workmanship. THE POOR COMMUNICATION AND GHOSTING: Coordinating this repair from 6 hours away was made intentionally difficult by staff. I reached out to my salesperson, Julio, to coordinate an appointment around a flight out of Sacramento to avoid multiple long round trips. He went completely radio silent for over two weeks. I escalated the issue directly to a manager, David Trifeletti, who completely ignored my email. When Julio finally replied three weeks later, he admitted that David had received and read my email but simply chose not to respond to me. THE FORGOTTEN APPOINTMENT AFTER A 6-HOUR DRIVE: Julio explicitly confirmed by text multiple times that my appointment was set for August 11 at 10:00 a.m. Yet, after making the 6-hour drive to Rocklin, I arrived only to find the service department had absolutely no record of my appointment in their system despite text confirmations. Luckily Wayne & Kenny fixed the blunder and got me in, (and the only reason this isn't a zero-star review.) Later, when the car was returned to me completely dirty, Kenny stepped up again without hesitation to have it washed. These two know what luxury service means. THE "ACCEPTABLE" PAINT FAILURE & DISRESPECTFUL SERVICE: After the scheduling mess, the rest of management failed completely. David called and spoke quickly, "Your car is ready" without even identifying himself or where he was calling from. When I inspected the trunk, the repair was shocking. The tech heavily caked, globbed, and layered a thick, jagged ridge of paint directly under the central Mercedes emblem (see photo). It is uneven, grainy, and rough. Managers David "spoke on behalf of Darrell" and flatly told me that this amateur smear is "acceptable dealership level work" and refused to fix it flat. WARNING TO BUYERS: This dealership will sign a Due Bill to close a deal, but sales and management will ghost you, botch your scheduling, and force you to accept garbage repair work once they have your money. Beware of their post-sale promises.

Unacceptable service and a complete lack of integrity…read more I brought my GMC Sierra in for a mechanical vacuum pump replacement under warranty. Shortly after returning home, I noticed oil dripping off the skid plate and onto the ground. Concerned about a potential issue with the repair, I had to return to the dealership to ensure it wasn't a live leak. This was after they already had the vehicle all day. I dealt directly with a customer service manager, Ken Baugh. Instead of actually fixing the issue, Ken chose to lie to my face and show me fake pictures to move me along and cover up sloppy workmanship. He specifically blamed a "pad" on the skid plate that supposedly hadn't been cleaned completely. After dropping and cleaning the skid plate myself today, I discovered that Ken had shown me a photo of a completely different vehicle--my truck does not have any padding on the skid plate. I ultimately had to crawl under the truck myself to verify the integrity of the repair. What I found was a complete mess. Below the area of the replaced vacuum pump, the differential housing and the skid plate were absolutely filthy with leftover oil. Worse yet, the technician had left the skid plate bolts loose. This was the state of the vehicle after "two cleanings"--supposedly one at the completion of the job and a second when I returned to the shop with an oil leak. When you go to a dealership for repairs, you expect professional service and basic honesty. Instead, I got a manager who fakes documentation to dismiss a customer's legitimate concerns and a technician who can't even torque down a skid plate or clean up after themselves. I had to spend my own time under the truck cleaning up their mess and tightening their loose hardware. I have zero trust in this dealer or their service department. Avoid at all costs.
