I say this specifically because with auto repair becoming difficult for the home repairman, I know that some businesses might infringe upon the complexity and first suggest unneeded work and second, overcharge. In this case, I used the Yelp app, entered my information and received a quick quote from My Auto surgeon. I also received probably 6 other quotes. I chose my auto surgeon as they had treated me very well previously. However, their quote was not the least, nor was it the highest. What I thought was the issue turned out not to be the issue and instead they quickly diagnosed the culprit and had my vehicle ready when they promised, and at a cost that was well within reason. I cannot stress how important it is to a customer to receive fair and timely care for their automobile. I was braced for a ridiculous charge and instead what I received was the proper diagnosis and repair done. I recommend My Auto Surgeon and feel their approach to the business is deserving of commendation above and beyond what I have experienced at other establishments.

So I was less than happy with their diagnosis and decided to take her car to Auto Haven. From day one the communication was excellent, the service was top notch, we had the car back within a couple of days, and it was only $340 to flush the system out again. Thieves! I brought…read moremy car in because it was shaking. I paid or agreed to pay a $210 diagnostic after being told that substantially lower price by the Midas on Watt Avenue. When I went to this location, they told me not to go to Watt because they were bad to customers. They called me back and said that the reason why the car was shaking was the control arms and a few other things. I found out that they were asking for more than double than a few other shops and that I couldn't afford the over $3000 price they asked. By that time they had got me a Lyft to my job but when I needed a ride back, they said they wouldn't give me a ride back and that they wouldn't let go of my car unless I towed it out. I decided to trust them and get the control arms on the front of my car fixed because they said that would fix the problem. When I got the car back and got it on the freeway it started shaking again. I called and told them that the car was still shaking and they said that they fixed the risk but not the problem and that they were clear about saying that. So now I am out almost $1700 and my car is still broken. They had me apply for some kind of line of credit and the first thing they did was try to max it out. Don't go to this place or any Midas for that matter, according to them. I'm going to see if there's any legal action I could take but I doubt it. I have a feeling these guys have been getting away with this kind of stuff for a long time so they could pay for their garbage commercials. He acknowledged their dissatisfaction with how the situation was handled and offered a refund after hearing our concerns about paying over $500 despite the repair work not ultimately being completed. Charlie also expressed that they do not want situations like this happening in the future, and we appreciated the effort made to address the issue afterward.
