Made and appointment, confirmed the appointment, they said the glass was in, went to the shop (15 minutes before the scheduled time!)... no glass. Clerk seems to have a permanent sneer on her face and the personality of a hornet. Seems to be their way of doing business.

But give them 5 stars on the work on the bumper. My glove box was locked and some worker tried to go through my car for anything of value. I wish I had told this to my friend before I went. She had cash (yes, she was dumb) stolen out of her car. It's been over a year and no one ever took care of the damage. No one had any business being in the passenger side of my car. I made a complaint with my insurance as well. Beware, because I did empty out my car, but I guess I should have left the empty glove box unlocked and opened. I wasn't aware thieves worked there. Not worth paying $500 to get broken into.

But I immediately noticed a creaking/rattling noise while driving. When I brought it back, both the general manager (Sabrina) and the mechanic admitted they heard the noise. But instead of fixing it, Sabrina dismissed it, blaming beads in my car door or sunglasses in the compartment--completely unrelated items. This sound never existed before the accident. After pleading with them to actually fix it, Sabrina lied to my face, claiming she "wished" she had heard the noise she originally admitted to. Their only "solution" was for me to come back if it continued. Of course it did. When I returned again, they brushed it off once more, this time blaming a previous accident that they wouldn't touch. They did replace one bolt, said that might be the cause, and still told me to come back again if I heard it. And yes--I'm still hearing it. This shop turned an already stressful accident into a nightmare. Frustrating, draining, and dishonest. Absolutely do not recommend.

I was quoted over email and over the phone the same price and a 45 min replacement time. They took 2 hours and when I went to pay the total was bumped up by $20 because of "taxes". When I questioned Raj he said taxes always make the price go up. I didn't agree and the job was already done so I felt my hands were tied. Paying with a debit card also would have added $7? Hefty charge to use a card... I had to reschedule them to fix part of the windshield rubber molding as well. When I called to reschedule I made sure to ask if it would cost anything for them to fix their mistake. I was told no. Raj didn't charge for the fix. Make sure you get a quote in writing and ask for ALL taxes and applicable fees apparently before servicing.

They promised me they would get me one to patch the damages but have not answered any of my calls after the payment was finalized. I just don't understand how they are even still in business with this kind of service.

I just don't understand how they're still in business or why anyone would ever choose to go to Safelite.. and this is the third time that I've had to use them because Geico seems to think that in California $40 an hour is good enough for a glass replacement. But that's a whole Nother story I could tell you about the time they wrecked all the stripes on my hellcat and had to replace the window three times and then still scratched my paint that they never fixed. Oh, I guess I just told you about it. Why would you ask me to contact you when that is impossible. Online chat? Why wast my time? No phone number ever gets you a human. Hopefully people see this and stop using you. Also for anyone reading this that has Geico, they told me if I click the other button to choose a my own place, more recommendations appear. Yeah, Geico is definitely part of the problem.

On the day of the appointment, it was raining, so the technician called around 8:15 am to suggest me driving to the shop instead. The drive was short since I live nearby. It was easy to locate. There was plenty of parking. I went inside and got checked in. I sat in the lobby and there was only 1 other person waiting inside. I waited for about 45 minutes, then my windshield was fixed. The windshield looked great and was super clear. They also replaced my windshield wipers. I took the tape off the next day and haven't had any issues with it. Cons: One of the staff members inside was talking super loud the entire time I was there. Also, I paid $400 for the windshield repair, which is pretty steep. I wish I had called around first because other auto shops charged significantly less ($250-$300).
