Dealing with Alias was an overall wonderful experience with something that started out very bad…read more I had ants in my condo for years but it was not until this winter that they got to be really invasive. I asked a friend for a recommendation and they suggested Alias The Buman. I called right away and spoke to a very helpful lady who answered all my questions. After booking an appointment for a couple days later I received a text reminder of my appointment. The appointment was only a two hour window. If I recall correctly they showed up 15 minutes into that two hour appointment. Cody came out and was really polite taking off his shoes even though I didn't ask. He asked a few questions and told me how ants get inside and what he was going to do to help solve my problem. He patiently let me explain all my concerns and assured me things would work out. He sprayed a safe application inside and out all around my condo unit. Letting me know if we saw any more ants in the next 7-10 days he would be back out for free. I noticed an improvement immediately! By the next day the number of ants we saw was drastically decreased and by day 3 we did not see any ants. As of this review we are almost a week in but I am totally happy with the service. How long it lasts is to be determined but he did tell me to expect this to keep things under control for a couple months. Great people to work with and they were very up front with what they will do and what I can expect from their service.

Within the week they had a technician to our house. Appointment could have been sooner had my partner and I's work schedules allowed. Part of the treatment involved coming into our home, so one of us needed to be present. There's also a 2-hour arrival window, so you, the client, must be flexible. The technician arrived and treated the problem areas. We've been spider free since (about 3 weeks). The cobwebs were getting to be a bigger problem than the spiders and we haven't seen many since he left. Alias also completed a pest inspection for us before we moved into our home this spring. They don't tell you this when you start the service. They refuse to accept my cancelation letter last May and charged me in August for a service that was not scheduled nor wanted. Not believing I mailed a letter to the Dolphin Dr address in addition to my multiple phone calls to cancel service. This was to include a starting treatment, another treatment within 30 days, and 4 quarterly treatments following. After our first quarterly treatment I noticed another $160.50 charge on our credit card. When I called the company they said that they were sorry we were told it was a one time charge. Upon reviewing the contract it shows the total as $160.50 but in the fine print it says this is a charge that is reoccurring every quarterly service. It was presented to us as a promotion and that the $160.50 would cover all of it. They have the contract set up so you see the price as $160.50 but they don't tell you or point out its every quarter. For that you would have to read the fine print on their tablets. If they would have stated that the entire service over the life of the contract was $802.50, I would have told them to kick rocks!! Be very careful if they show up in your neighborhood! Ask for their tablet and take time to read the fine print on the contract. Or tell them to get lost!! Wish I could leave NO STARS!!!!!!!!!!
