I asked a friend for a recommendation and they suggested Alias The Buman. I called right away and spoke to a very helpful lady who answered all my questions. After booking an appointment for a couple days later I received a text reminder of my appointment. The appointment was only a two hour window. If I recall correctly they showed up 15 minutes into that two hour appointment. Cody came out and was really polite taking off his shoes even though I didn't ask. He asked a few questions and told me how ants get inside and what he was going to do to help solve my problem. He patiently let me explain all my concerns and assured me things would work out. He sprayed a safe application inside and out all around my condo unit. Letting me know if we saw any more ants in the next 7-10 days he would be back out for free. I noticed an improvement immediately! By the next day the number of ants we saw was drastically decreased and by day 3 we did not see any ants. As of this review we are almost a week in but I am totally happy with the service. How long it lasts is to be determined but he did tell me to expect this to keep things under control for a couple months. Great people to work with and they were very up front with what they will do and what I can expect from their service.

Within a few hours I received an email back about when they could come (several dates/times) and take a look at the problem. They also explained the treatment process. Within the week they had a technician to our house. Appointment could have been sooner had my partner and I's work schedules allowed. Part of the treatment involved coming into our home, so one of us needed to be present. There's also a 2-hour arrival window, so you, the client, must be flexible. The technician arrived and treated the problem areas. We've been spider free since (about 3 weeks). The cobwebs were getting to be a bigger problem than the spiders and we haven't seen many since he left. Alias also completed a pest inspection for us before we moved into our home this spring. They collected my name and contact info over the phone, then emailed me their appointment confirmation, and they even got the inspection completed within the short window of time that I provided them. Once the inspection was complete, they emailed the report to me and I was pleasantly surprised by how thorough it was! They explained what they found and detailed the areas they weren't able to check very thoroughly for various reasons like permanent furniture structures being in the way. Hopefully I'll never need to treat our home for pests, but if such an unpleasant day ever comes along, I know I'll return to D&R.

Next visit there were no bugs in traps so he said they would scale back to maintenance visits and it would be cheaper going forward. My most recent visit was for outside only. I live in a condo, called two days before and gave specific instructions as to which ground floor unit was mine, so they service the correct one. Day of service I see their truck leaving and he never did anything outside my condo. I call the office and they argue with me, telling me he was there and serviced the unit. I tell him he absolutely did not because have been sitting right inside the patio door and nobody has been here. She keeps telling me I am wrong and he was there for a half hour but says she will have him come back. He comes back. I meet him and show him my unit. He says he did a different one. I told him I called two days before and told them the specific unit information. He said they never passed it along. I truly believe he was telling me the truth and do not blame him. Interesting part is that they said the visit would be outside, checking for any places bugs could get in and servicing those areas. She told me he was here for 30 minutes (servicing the wrong unti) and he did mine in about 5 minutes, so I know it was not thorough. I then go back and look at my past billing statements. They have been charging me the same price since I started. It never went down at all. When I pointed that out, she told me I was not understanding how they bill things. I told her I understand being screwed over and used the example of going to McDonalds, buying/paying for a Big Mac, going again a day later and ordering a cheeseburger but getting charged for a Big Mac again. Needless to say, I told her I did not want to use their service anymore. She told me I have to send written notification, which I did and saved because I do not trust them at all.
