No more leaks and overpriced plastic parts that can only be replaced by the Kinetico dealer. I went with a 3M whole house water filter recommended by Ben, with all new copper plumbing and a new pressure regulator. I can change the water filter myself, which is recommended to do least once a year. I am confident of the new system and no longer worried about another Kinetico part failure. The 3M water filter recommended by Ben at Patriot Plumbing lead to immediate improvement in our water quality. No more chlorine taste or smell. This system uses a carbon block filter that works better for us than the water softener. I will use Patriot Plumbing again if and when needed.

They arrived at 10 and were very polite and helpful, easy to work with and took good care moving my items. They finished at 12:15 and told me the total would be $545. When I pointed out that it was 2 hours and 15 minutes of work I was told that didn't include travel time because they hit some traffic. $140 to drive their own car to my house. I challenged this and they took $50 off so I only had to pay $90 for them to drive to my house. I was not told that a 9:30 am starting time meant they would START driving to my location at at time and I was also not told the $180 an hour would be charged for their travel time as well. My neighbors are moving next month and so are my parents and they were both planning on using this company and now they refuse to because of this and we will be letting others know to avoid this business. Your stuff will be moved well but it will cost you a fortune depending on how much traffic they may encounter on their way to your house. If I was informed of this practice ahead of time I would have asked where they were located and what their ARRIVAL time at my residence was going to be so I could estimate how much extra it was going to cost me because $140 to drive to my house is crazy.
