It would be difficult to overstate my frustration with Patriot. Their technician was a no-call no-show for my HVAC repair appointment. I tried calling their office multiple times that day and each of the following days. Every time I called, both during regular office hours and on the weekend, I was shunted off to their messaging service instead of being connected directly to their HVAC team. It was unbelievably frustrating that I could not talk to anyone who could do anything to help, especially during regular office hours. I left a message each time anyway, but did not get a response from a member of the team until four days later. No part of this experience was acceptable. I understand that schedules change, parts don't come in on time, etc, but I cannot understand the lack of communication. I had to stay home the entire day of my appointment waiting for the technician, which disrupted my work schedule. I spent the next day at home too, just in case he or any other member of the team called and was able to make it out then, which meant canceling other plans. The only reason I kept calling after that instead of giving up and finding help elsewhere is because I had already paid over $800 to get a replacement part ordered. All of this happened after sweating through multiple weeks of Patriot's lead time that my girlfriend, our pets, and I spent in the summer heat with a nonfunctional heat pump. Now that I have my refund in hand for their "service", I have sought the assistance of another HVAC service company in town who actually picks up the phone when I call and shows up for scheduled appointments. I will be encouraging my friends in the valley with HVAC issues to avoid Patriot at all costs. I'm at a loss to explain how they're still in business. read more

Extremely unreliable company. Patriot Plumbing and Heating canceled on me not once, but twice. The second time was completely unacceptable -1I took time off work and drove 1.5 hours to meet them, only for them to call two hours after I was already there to cancel. Their solution? Wait another 10 days for the next appointment. A company with "great reviews" should value people's time and commitments,but clearly they don't. Our HOA was having insulation installed and one of the pipes was accidentally stapled, causing a pinhole leak. Patriot Plumbing was able to fit us into their schedule the same day. Noe and his co-worker did a great job of replacing the pipe. In fact, he found another leak in a drain pipe and brought it to our attention. Noe was extremely professional! read more

I really want to give this company a better rating than two stars. I've dealt with them several times. And always felt like I was getting a decent deal. This last time though, whomever was answering the phones had no clue what they were talking about or what the company offered as far as services. The biggest demerit in my mind was the fact that charge for an estimate of services. Every other plumbing contractor I called never charged me. This is the biggest issue I've had with these guys, but it's an odd policy that they should consider dropping when it comes to bidding jobs. We recently needed some major plumbing issues resolved. My folks have owned this house since 1971 and until my Dad came down with Dementia a few years back, Dad did all the work and repairs, with Mom supervising, of course, lol. We contacted Patriot and we were fortunate to have Ricky S respond. He was very patient and actively listened to our concerns along with many stories. He planned out the repairs and explained everything as well as the costs involved. He and Izzy came out on Monday of this week and started the repairs. They arrived on time each day and we were very pleased with the work they did and how they were very respectful and patient. Before you know it they did the old hey sorry we out of stock and all we have is the stainless steel model and sorry but it's $5000+ and I said oh okay no problem. How about we replace the kitchen sink faucet while we are at it ??? He quoted me $956 to replace the faucet. It was then I asked him to leave. I now have a new hot water tank being delivered and yes stainless steel and expansion tank and $1200 FYI. My handy mans father is a general contractor and will install. I have complete faith in their work and professionalism of their staff. Their also going to install a water sensing device which will notify us of any leakage or unusual water usage and will automatically turn the water off to the house. I worked with Ben at Patriot Plumbing to redo a leaky Kinetico water softener. I am very happy with the high quality work by Ben and Patriot Plumbing. No more leaks and overpriced plastic parts that can only be replaced by the Kinetico dealer. I went with a 3M whole house water filter recommended by Ben, with all new copper plumbing and a new pressure regulator. I can change the water filter myself, which is recommended to do least once a year. I am confident of the new system and no longer worried about another Kinetico part failure. The 3M water filter recommended by Ben at Patriot Plumbing lead to immediate improvement in our water quality. No more chlorine taste or smell. This system uses a carbon block filter that works better for us than the water softener. I will use Patriot Plumbing again if and when needed. read more

The appointment scheduling via website or email is very spotty. I had a spring tune scheduled. Then i agreed to reschedule as a result if a heat wave. But had to call to reschedule rather than them calling me. Had appointment set via email. Then next day had a missed call to "schedule" But already had appoitment?? Did this twice. Then actually had to call. To "guarantee" they would be there. That's tough when I coordinate with a renter. Their technical service is awesome. Their admin is very spotty read more

We called Patriot to come give an estimate. They were able to be at our home almost immediately. They arrived clean and ready to gather the needed information and we accompanied through their evaluation of what would be needed to replace our hot water tank and to have a system up to the current safety codes. We also asked them if they could install two brand new bathroom faucets we had purchased and to fix an issue with a kitchen faucet. The bid was given on site and they advised they had brought a new hot water they thought might fit but upon inspection determined it would not work. With agreement from us they had their warehouse person to deliver the proper hot water tank to our home within 1/2 hour! THEY PREPPED THE SITE APPROPRIATELY, protecting the floors and began working on the hot water tank while the assistant installed and fixed all the faucets we needed help with. In addition this team was cheerful smiles and with all the needed supplies to do the work. This team of Noe Hernandez and Isidro were polite and it was nice to have hardworking knowledgable workers helping us to get this task completed that we could not do for ourselves.The best part was their efficient work while being polite manner to one another as well to us and they were obviously enjoying being at work. If we were to need plumbing work again we would ask for this team. Thank you Noe and Isidro! Patriot coming to give a bid and yet ready to start work right away is a great service to the customer! Called and scheduled for Friday from 9:00-11:00, have a backed up septic line and 30 people coming for the weekend. I get a text on Friday morning that says "This Patriot Plumbing. We have a staff shortage today and are unable to get to you. We will have to reschedule. We will reach out to you later to find another time. Thank you." I have nothing good to say about this company. They use a text message to cancel a commitment. Terrible customer service when I called to ask about the cancellation, the person wasn't pleasant to speak with and took zero responsibility. I wouldn't use them for anything. read more

Complicated install! We had a new electrical panel installed in our double wide. While some scaring will occur when items are installed what really bothered my wife is that the top of her brand new champagne colored washer was scratched up as it was used for a work platform, even though she put a towel on top, it evidently was moved out of the way. They did some repairs for me last year and everything went well, their trip charge is fair relative to other firms and the repair lasted. Recently I called them for a job and we got it fixed while waiting for them to arrive and they cordially understood that we were able to fix it ourselves even though they were on their way from Wenatchee. Sought a bid from Patriot to install a whole house water filter for a well system. They were very responsive and came promptly to the site to prepare a bid. However, their bid was higher than others, and they included upsells in addition to what we needed. The filter system they recommended was not the one we wanted and it would have required more maintenance than the ozone oxygenation one we ended up using. Best experience ever with contractor repair. Heat was out on Saturday. Called and Matt answered. I told him I could manage the night. He Promised a call Sunday am. He Called first thing to make sure I still needed them. I did. Patrick called right after and showed up right away. Super nice. fixed the problem right away. Good quality products, but very expensive. Then to make matters worse, I ordered a heat pump but they installed a regular A/C with a heater. They sent me $300 back saying that's the difference between the two units. I also was given a few free plumbing and heating inspections to compensate. But isn't that a pretty big deal to put in the wrong unit from what was ordered? read more

We just had Patriot install a new heat pump & furnace for us and I can't say enough good things about the guys and their professionalism, they explained everything to us in a matter that we could understand & we are so happy. the heat pump is so quiet we can't even hear it running when outside & my Husband has a severe hearing problem so this will be a real plus for him this summer as our patio is right there !! They spent 10 minutes looking at Heat pump unit then did Hard sell for over an hour in my house telling me that I needed a new heat pump and a new furnace because new unit wouldn't be compatible with new heat pump. "motor was wrong size, copper tubing was in wrong place and a few other things then charged 90 plus dollars. and gave a check for money off when I got repairs done really now, $90 plus dollars. Let's see, I am not delusional about time frame quoted. I am not delusional over $145.00 bid to replace an item that would take more time to walk to the truck and get than to replace. And retail cost for the part was under $11.00. System collapse one day later, I did not abusively talk to technician, who, by the way was courteous, clean and efficient. I did say I thought that was really irritating and upsetting to have a separate fee, and I might re-think being a vip member. And I agreed to pay the fee. I am not delusional that calling any other establishment at 3 pm for a same day service just ain't going to happen. It is true that I overestimated the yearly cost of the vip by about $35.00, pretty close going on best recollection. When I signed up on vip I was told about preseason check LAST YEAR, and was told that I had to put it off because it was already hot season. Yes, she signed me off the system. Lastly, there was no attempt to assuage my irritation. It was 100 percent you you you in the most dulcet tones. And, the best: The capacitor was 100 per cent functional, failure was a cost almost nothing fuse. read more

My AC unit quit functioning. I called Patriot the next morning first thing at 8 AM and they said they would squeeze me in and possibly be out around 3:00 P.M.. At 3:05 I received a call from the service technician, Matt, and he asked if it was ok to come by the house to take a look at the unit. I said sure and he was here in 10 minutes. When I opened the door for him and stood to the side so he could come in he waited and then literally asked my permission to enter my house...I was a little taken aback...and said, "of course, please come in". At that point before entering he put shoe covers over his work boots and came inside. He first inspected my thermostat, then ac unit and then my heat pump. Within 5 minutes he told me that the capacitor had blown and said it would be the mini um service charge with the cost of the part. He replaced it right there and in another 10 minutes had the system functioning again. After that he came in and inspected the air temperature coming out of my vents, what was being sucked into the return air vent and checked what my thermostat was reading. He said the ratio split looked pretty good (what ever that was) and then made some other simple suggestions to help air flow in the house. He billed me via, e-mail...sweet, and then left. I can't say how pleased I am with Patriot! Mike asked to go through my gate to get his tools after his initial inspection, I have a series of complicated locks on my fence...after he left I went downstairs to re-lock everything (since I knew he had gone through it) and he had relocked everything! I am truly shocked at the professionalism and the service I was given...Patriot Plumbing, Heating & Cooling will forever be my plumbing, heating & cooling go to people as long as they continue to offer service like that! read more

Their rep walked through our home and crawled under our house. He spent a great deal of time explaining what would need to be done to correct all of our issues: cutting into walls, removing and replacing all domestic water supply piping. We received several bids and moved forward with Patriots services. The plumbers were professional, timely, thorough: they took great care to cover our floors as the weather outside was snowy and inclement. Our project took them three or so days to complete.
