On the scheduled day, Cameron arrived ready to go. We spoke further about my specialized needs due to my disabilities before he proceeded to thoroughly check out the multiple areas that needed to be addressed. Afterwards, we discussed his findings, suggestions, and my opinions. He really took the time to explain things to me. He was confident but not arrogant. As he was leaving, he told me that he would email the estimate the next day. The FREE two-page estimate was on time, very thorough, included many helpful additional notes, and several separated bids to give me options and allow for unforeseen issues. He even had suggestions for the additional contractors needed to completely finish the jobs. I have now scheduled the date for the work to be done. I am very excited to move forward. Although I am certain that I will be extremely happy with the results, I will update after all is finished. FYI: I had another recommended local competitor come out and do an estimate too. Six days later, I received an invoice in my mailbox for $146.34 (fee discussed in advance) with an estimate typed on it that consisted of one long vague sentence that did not even address all of the work. The estimated cost was not separated out either-just one number. When contacted, the receptionist seemed annoyed and said the owner would call me. I have never received that call.

No more leaks and overpriced plastic parts that can only be replaced by the Kinetico dealer. I went with a 3M whole house water filter recommended by Ben, with all new copper plumbing and a new pressure regulator. I can change the water filter myself, which is recommended to do least once a year. I am confident of the new system and no longer worried about another Kinetico part failure. The 3M water filter recommended by Ben at Patriot Plumbing lead to immediate improvement in our water quality. No more chlorine taste or smell. This system uses a carbon block filter that works better for us than the water softener. I will use Patriot Plumbing again if and when needed.

I can't say enough praise of Allied's repair of the leaking water main connection into my house…read more When I was told by the city (after they had turned off my water) that the leak was between the city water main and my house and therefore was my responsibility, I immediately called three plumber/excavation companies. To say I was distressed is an understatement! The leaking line ran UNDER my concrete car port, under a 3 foot retaining wall, and under a concrete patio into my house. The first bid was $5000 higher and involved sawing my concrete and jackhammering up the concrete from the city meter to my house (50 ft). The second company refused to try to fix the leak. My house is circa 1914 and the concrete has been in place for a very long time. Not only did Allied avoid disturbing any of the concrete, they did so in half the time (2 1/2 days) the first company suggested! The four young men who did the work (Foreman Cristian, and his fellow workers: Ethan, Victor and Justin) were cheerful, confident, good communicators, and most importantly, skilled. They accurately assessed the task and then set about making the repair. After they finished, I could barely tell they had been there. Except for about an 18" square they had to cut into my carport, (and which they repaired nearly flawlessly) and a small area of disturbed dirt, there was almost no evidence of their work! Moreover, they meticulously cleaned up after themselves: replaced the fence, swept my carport, and even cheerfully retrieved my water hose from my neighbors, winding it on the hose holder on my house! They started Monday after noon, and they were finished and had restored my water by Wednesday early evening! I unreservedly recommend them to tackle your plumbing problem.
